Abstract

Processing school student report cards if not handled properly can cause problems. Problems that arise in processing student report cards are the result of not being careful in processing the data. Data processing that is done manually can pose a risk of errors in entering data. Manual processing using files is also not effective because it takes a relatively longer time. The use of information system-based technology aids is currently very much needed in running a business processing student grades. Based on this information, the following research has been carried out by taking the theme of the use of information technology for the business process of making reports on school students' grades. The system developed in this study uses the PHP programming language and MySQL database. Information technology for this research uses cloud computing-based devices where applications can be run via the internet. Users can interact directly in real time wherever and whenever they are connected to the internet network. This system provides facilities for students, teachers and administrators in processing data on the value of subjects at school including lesson scores, extracurricular activity values and values about students' personalities. The software developed can be a solution for students, teachers in processing data, and making information about report cards on the results of teaching and learning activities in schools.Keywords: System; Information; Mark; Student; Internet, PHP, MySQL

Abstract

Kebun binatang merupakan sarana untuk memperkenalkan hewan secara langsung dan menyenangkan. Dalam memperkenalkan hewan kebun binatang menggunakan papan informasi untuk menyampaikan informasi hewan yang membuat informasi yang disampaikan menjadi sangat terbatas. Aplikasi Arena Rekreasi Kebun Binatang Gembira Loka Yogkarta Berbasis Android merupakan aplikasi yang menjadi alternatif untuk memberikan informasi yang lebih lengkap tentang hewan yang ada di Kebun Binatang Gembira Loka. Aplikasi ini dibuat dengan menggunakan Android Studio versi 3.6.3 dengan bahasa pemrograman kotlin. Aplikasi ini telah melalui uji coba perangkat dengan 3 perangkat Android dan berjalan dengan baik dan memiliki tampilan yang baik, dan uji coba pengguna dengan hasil uji coba dengan 25 orang pengguna dan menghasilkan tampilan yang baik, lancar dan bermanfaat.Kata kunci: Aplikasi, Android, Kebun Binatang, pengajaran

Abstract

Teknologi Informasi dewasa ini semakin maju dan berkembang pesat terutama pada perangkat bergerak seperti smartphone. Aplikasi yang tersedia pada perangkat tersebut sangat beragam dapat memenuhi semua kebutuhan pengguna baik untuk orang dewasa atau anak-anak maupun balita. Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi tersebut salah satunya dapat membantu tumbuh kembang anak balita dengan membuatkan aplikasi yang sesuai. Pembuatan aplikasi edukasi berbasis android untuk bayi dan anak-anak berisi pengenalan dan pembelajaran huruf, angka, warna, buah, dan hewan dalam upaya memanfaatkan teknologi informasi. Tahapan pembuatan aplikasi ini dimulai dengan perancangan struktur navigasi, perancangan use case diagram, activity diagram, perancangan tampilan. Proses pembuatan aplikasi aplikasi menggunakan teks editor Visual Studio Code dan dengan menggunakan Framework Flutter serta menggunakan bahasa Dart. Pengujian aplikasi setelah pengembangan diperlukan agar aplikasi dapat berjalan dengan baik dan tidak ada kendala. Pengujian dilakukan dengan cara menjalankan aplikasi melalui perangkat smartphone dari berbgai jenis sehingga semua fungsi dapat berjalan dengan baik. Pengujian yang dilakukan berhasil dilakukan dengan indicator aplikasi dapat dijalankan dengan mudah oleh pengguna dari kalangan anak-anak dan balita. Abstract

As the tendency towards health awareness has increased, the consumption of dried herbs has risen. The phytochemicals within the plant were known for their health benefits. However, dried herbs in the market these days seemed to lack active compounds. The deficiency of active compounds could be evolving from the dehydration process. The research was established to compare thedehydration process in the dried red ginger (Zingiber officinale var. rubrum) production between freeze drying and oven drying. The oven drying process was done by drying in the oven at 60°C for 24 hours. While the freeze‐drying process was done by freezing the red ginger at ‐60°C for 12 hours, then dried in a vacuum at 25°C. Physical appearance, microstructure, chemical constituents,moisture loss, extraction yield, Total Phenolic Content (TPC), and antioxidant activity were analyzed. The results showed that freeze‐dried seemed to have a light green color while the ovendried had a brownish-yellow color. The freeze-dried appeared to have less volume shrinking as the cell wall in the freeze‐dried was more preserved, which was shown by the SEM imaging. GCMS results conveyed that freeze‐dried looked to have more abundant compounds in higher molecular weight. In comparison, the oven-dried had more abundant in lower molecular weight. Also, the results indicated that there was a significant difference between freeze-dried and oven-dried in total phenolic content. However, there were no significant differences in moisture content, extraction yield,and antioxidant activity. Therefore, further research needs to be developed to compare both dehydration processes.Keywords: dehydration, freeze-drying, red ginger, oven drying

Abstract

Caffein, tannin, and polyphenol contents in a substance is an important parameter to determine the hazardous level of the substance. This makes the spent coffee ground considered as a hazardous waste. Lead, on the other hand, is considered as toxic heavy metal because of its ability to pollute water ecosystem. In this study, the spent coffee ground was activated by activated carbon then it was used to adsorb lead ion [Pb(II)]. The effect of pH and the adsorption type of the activated carbon used to adsorb lead ion were studied. Several steps such as brewing, drying, and carbonizing under a specific condition were used to obtain the samples of spent coffee ground. The samples were then activated chemically by using HCl and then washed by using deionized water, and dried. The result shows that the moisture content of the activated carbon from the spent coffee ground was 11.32 ± 0.03%, and its pores size formed was 8.50 ± 4.11 nm. The maximum amount of adsorption was occurred at pH 3 and it followed the Langmuir type of adsorption isotherm. The maximum adsorption capacity was 4.97 ± 0.16 mg/gr for each gram of adsorbent which was the activated carbon from the spent coffee ground.Keywords: Spent Coffee Ground; Activated Carbon; pH; SEM; Adsorption Isotherm

Abstract

At this writing the author writes about making a data collection application and presenting information on the sale of medical devices at PT SEKARGUNA MEDIKA which is intended for production managers as a convenience for recording and presenting reports on sales data and inventory data. Sometimes if a data collection still uses manual data processing, it will take a long time. Therefore, an application is needed that can help the production manager process data faster. Abstract

Many of us often neglect exercise, but we must understand how important it is for our health. The author created and developed this application to make it easier for users to learn the sportswear they need and place direct orders. The writer's research went through the following stages: (1) Performing analysis and data collection; (2) Designing applications; (3) Develop applications using Visual Studio Code and Flutter Framework as well as the Dart programming language; and (4) Test the app's functionality across three devices and users. The results of testing the app's features were positive, and everything worked. Testing on three different smartphones revealed that the program works without a hitch and has a great display. Users can access test results by filling out a questionnaire that is distributed to the user community. Abstract

After the launch of aviation law number 1 of 2009 by the government, of course, the hope of the Indonesian people that the atmosphere of commercial flights in Indonesia will be increase and guaranteed that the safety factor will improve and be accompanied by an increasingly better quality of service in accordance with the spirit of the consumer protection law number 1 of 1999. Consumer rights are the most Priority in the issuance of aviation law. Many airlines ignored the issue of long delays, changing flight schedules, and lost passengers' items of baggage as well. With the aviation law 1/2009, it is hoped that all of the above problems will subside because if the airline is reputable, it can be subject sanctions up to the heaviest revocation of flying permits for certain, fatal revocation of the Air Operator Certificate. However, since the issuance of Law 1/2009, the government has also been miss conduct by the bankruptcy of the state-owned airline Merpati Nusantara, which should have been avoided. We hope that all of us stakeholders of aviation in Indonesia will become loyal customers to board the Indonesia domestic airlines as their choosing transport and the airlines can improve the level of service and maintain the level of safety.Keywords: keep safe flights, serve customers, keep the fleet growing increase

Abstract

Water quality in the recent years had been a very important aspect in daily life, especially in big cities where they produced many liquid organic waste. One of a way to overcome this problem, a primary biological treatment could be used to transform this liquid organic waste water to become a cleaner water by using certain plant that belong to family of duckweeds, which was Lemna minor. Lemna minor plant had the benefit from growing on top of polluted water, in addition it helped to induce a better quality of the polluted by the reducing organic matters. The organic matters itself could be dangerous for daily usage, but for the Lemna minor it was useful for their growth due to their unique ability. The ability that was used by this Lemna minor was called as phytoremediation which defined as the ability to absorb some excess organic matters and transform it to become a nutrients for the plant growth. In this experiment, the phytoremediation effect would be observed by the growth of the plant inside a home scale bioreactors and the result was compared by using ImageJ Software analysis. The comparison are done between two aquariums that were filled with and without sodium bicarbonate. During the experiment days without the sodium bicarbonate, some ofthe Lemna minor could grow very well, but some of the Lemna minor also could not grow very well. During the experiment days with sodium bicarbonate was added, the plant growth was more consistent and grown very well due to the effect of the pH stability and alkalinity return properties. Abstract

Salted egg is one of the traditional and popular preserved egg products. Therefore, this study aims to observe the characteristics change of salted chicken eggs at different methods (dry and wet) and different salt concentrations (20% and 30%) with two different durations, namely 16 days and 21 days. The results of this salted egg experiment were also compared with salted commercial and hedonic tests. Duo-trio tests and triangle tests were also carried out. Sensory analysis was also carried out in this experiment by appointing five panelists. The hedonic test showed that most of the panellists chose salted eggs made by the wet method for 16 days with a salt concentration of 20%. Meanwhile, from the duo-trio test, all panelists chosen eggs were made using the wet method for 16 days with a salt concentration of 20%. The results on the triangle show that all panellists chose salted eggs were made using the wet method for 21 days with a salt concentration of 20%.Keyword: Salted Egg, Salted Commercial, Hedonic Tests, Sensory Analysis, Salt Concentration
