Abstract

The CT Scan (Computed Tomography) has been an integral instrument for the medical field to observe and diagnose patients. Throughout time, the CT scan has been developed over generations; from the first and up to the seventh generation. These developments were to ensure a shorter duration of scan-time (from 25 minutes down to a matter of a few seconds), higher resolution of imaging with low levels of noise, simple and quick to calibrate, and reduce the radiation dosage on the patients. One key development of the CT scan is the invention of multi-slice. This generates clearer images with better resolution compared to the previous generations. The CT scan is still developing as a technology, and looking towards the future, more compact designs of the CT scanner are being developed and the design is being streamlined to allow automation of the process. Abstract

This journal explores the physical and chemical properties of citronella oils extracted from Cymbopogon species, known for their insect-repellent qualities, essential oils and cosmetic applications. The aim is to determine the relation between concentration of citronellal and its properties for further research. The study analyzes density, refractive index, color, solubility, and utilizes GC-MS analysis. Different citronella oil samples with varying citronellal compositions are examined. The results show variations in properties among samples with different concentrations. Density and refractive index had the potential for determining citronellal concentration. GC-MS analysis identifies and quantifies components, with a focus on citronellal. The refractive index is inversely proportional to the concentration. The relation between the value of refractive index and citronella concentration is (y = -0.0002x + 1.4773) with R2 = 0.9934. Refractive index analysis has the strongest potential to be used as field method of measurement due to its higher resolution nature and ease of it use by untrained persons. Abstract

Small business is the backbone of this country, but opening a small business can be tricky. Starting a small business can either be the start of something worthwhile or a simple way to lose money. Thus, the implementation of Supply Chain Management is essential for operation in every small business. Supply Chain Management methods to be explored in this research are Inventory Management and CPFR. In order to keep the business running, many businesses establish warehouses where they stock their products. Therefore, to ensure that warehouses continue to operate successfully, businesses need to apply Inventory Management to the warehouse. Factors like Safety Stock, Inventory Tracking, and Cycle Counting can improve the company's Supply Chain Management significantly. Other than Inventory Management, another theory that could improve Supply Chain Management is Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment, also known as CPFR. This is considered the ideal foundation for starting a business. When applying Supply Chain Management, businesses can reduce inventory costs in the future. This creates transparency between the company and supplier due to consistent Reorder Points and EOQ. The purpose of this research is to study PT. Rosyada Herba Natura’s improvement of their Supply Chain Management in terms of Inventory Management and CPFR. Keywords: Small Business, Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, CPFR,

Abstract

Indonesia is endowed with natural resources especially medicinal plants. The medicinal plants have been used as the raw material of traditional medicine to treat and prevent various diseases long before modern pharmaceutical was introduced. The most popular Indonesian traditional medicine called as jamu. Jamu have been consumed by the ancestors and passed down from generation to next generation. The local society believed the health benefits after consuming jamu such as to maintain health and wellness and boosting immune system and the consumption of jamu significantly increased during covid-19 pandemic. There are three classification of traditional medicine which are jamu, standardized herbal medicine, and fitofarmaka. This study aimed to discuss the awareness towards jamu classification in Jabodetabek area. This studywas a quantitative research by distributing a questionnaire through social media that was filled by 309 respondents. Result showed that less than 20% of both male and female respondent aware different jamu classifications. The factors that make respondent do not know the jamu classification is the lack of information in the internet sources or news. Therefore, the role of the government, health workers, and herbalist are needed to socialize the information about traditional medicine directly. Keywords: Jamu, Herbal Medicine, Classification

Abstract

A GUI, whether well or badly designed, is one of the most important requirements for any video game. The role of a GUI is to present the player with their in-game character’s current status, whether it’s the number of ammunitions of a weapon, the current active quest, or the player’s current location within the game’s map. Creating GUI elements should be one of the first guides that are taught after a GameMaker tutorial provides a guide on creating a camera object. The creation process of a GUI element can be divided into two parts; its positioning and functionality. In theory, simplifying the development process, in this case the algorithm, for creating GUI elements is possible, mainly by categorizing every GUI element based on what they are presenting to the player. Developers could then create the same algorithm for every element that falls in one category, thus simplifying the development process. Abstract

On April 1st 2022, fuel prices in Indonesia including PT Pertamina’s non-subsidized Pertamax RON 92 and Pertamax Turbo RON 98 fuels rose by up to 39% while the price of the subsidized Pertalite RON 90 fuel remained constant. The escalation of price differences appeared to sway the non-subsidized fuel consumer’s preference to switch to the much cheaper subsidized fuel with lower Research Octane Number (RON), thus resulted in a market shift to the Pertalite RON 90 fuel, which fuel octane rating is lower than the requirement and recommendation from the car manufacturer, the government, and the fuel supplier. The purpose of the study is to compare, analyze and evaluate performance differences such as torque, power and specific fuel consumption when using different octane number of fuels including Pertalite, Pertamax and Pertamax Turbo on a 2015 Toyota Yaris with 1NZ-FE engine through dynamometer test and engine modeling simulation. The result from the dynamometer test revealed that using Pertalite RON 90 decreased the torque, power, and specific fuel consumption in average by 3.85%, 3.83% and 9.58% respectively, while using Pertamax Turbo RON 98 only increased the numbers by 2.3%, 2.31% and 13.43% respectively, both compared to when using Pertamax RON 92. The result from the engine modeling simulation also revealed similar trend, where using Pertalite RON 90 decreased the torque, power, and specific fuel consumption in average per cylinder by 1.22%, 1.21% and 1.22% respectively, while using Pertamax Turbo RON 98 only increased the numbers by 1.02%, 1.01% and 0.99% respectively, both also compared to when using Pertamax RON 92. The results illustrated the increase in performance when using higher RON, but the performance gain from Pertamax RON 92 to Pertamax Turbo RON 98 is smaller than the gain from Pertalite RON 90 to Pertamax RON 92. Keywords: Engine Performance; Research Octane Number; Pertalite RON 90; Pertamax RON 92; Pertamax Turbo RON 98; Torque; Power; Specific Fuel Consumption
