Abstract

Character education plays a crucial role in shaping the younger generation to become individuals with integrity, strong morality, and ethical awareness. This article discusses the urgency of instilling positive values such as honesty, responsibility, empathy, respect, and discipline within educational settings. The integration of these values into elementary and secondary school curricula through a comprehensive and continuous approach can foster an environment that supports optimal character development. Schools are not only responsible for academic achievement but also for nurturing students’ personal growth and social responsibility.Various methods can be implemented to strengthen character education, including project-based learning, collaborative activities, extracurricular programs, and the consistent exemplary behavior demonstrated by educators and school staff. These approaches help students to experience and internalize values in real-life contexts. However, the implementation of character education often faces challenges, such as limited resources, lack of teacher training, and inconsistencies between school and home environments. Therefore, collaboration among teachers, parents, and communities is essential. By instilling positive values from an early age, it is expected that the younger generation will grow into well-rounded individuals who are academically competent, socially responsible, and capable of facing future challenges with confidence and integrity.

Abstract

The formation of student personality is significantly influenced by character education in schools, which aims to instill moral, ethical, and social values in everyday life. This study aims to explore how school culture can effectively implement character education. The research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The findings reveal that a conducive school culture plays a crucial role in shaping students’ character. Consistent discipline, positive role modeling from teachers and staff, and well-structured extracurricular activities are key factors in character development. Furthermore, values such as integrity, responsibility, cooperation, and social awareness are embedded through routine school activities, including ceremonies, group work, and social programs. The integration of character education into school culture not only enhances students’ academic performance but also develops individuals with strong moral values and high competitiveness. Therefore, schools hold a strategic role in producing a generation that is not only intellectually competent but also possesses strong character to face global challenges

Abstract

The phenomenon of fiscal decentralization in Indonesia highlights the importance of aligning national and regional policies, particularly in implementing the Special Allocation Fund (DAK) as a fiscal instrument that bridges the National Government Work Plan (RKP) and Regional Government Work Plans (RKPD). However, there remains a research gap concerning the extent to which Physical and Non-Physical DAK programs are integrated within regional planning documents under a thematic, holistic, integrative, and spatial framework. The urgency of this study lies in ensuring that fiscal transfers from the central government are not only absorbed but also effectively targeted to support post-pandemic economic recovery and structural reform. This research aims to analyze the degree of DAK integration within the RKPD of 34 provinces using a document-based content analysis and tagging of DAK activity menus. The results reveal that tourism and agriculture sectors show high integration in non-physical activities (70% and 65%), while the environmental sector remains the lowest (physical 43%, non-physical 12%). Spatial disparities persist between western and eastern regions of Indonesia. Strategic recommendations include strengthening the digital tagging mechanism through KRISNA–SIPD integration, enhancing regional capacity in applying the Thematic, Holistic, Integrative, and Spatial (THIS) approach, and adopting evidence-based planning to improve the effectiveness of DAK in achieving sustainable regional development.

Abstract

Handling the boarding and dismounting of foreign ship crew is a change between the crew on board the ship due to completing the contract or other reasons with the crew who will board the ship based on the plan and schedule previously made by the owner. The implementation of crew changes by PT Penascop Maritim Indonesia Palembang branch encountered several obstacles that caused delays in boarding and dismounting foreign ship crew. The research method used was a qualitative method with informant selection techniques and data obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation in the field. Researchers discovered during their internship at PT Penascop Maritim Indonesia, Palembang branch, that frequent obstacles occurred during the process of boarding and disembarking foreign crew members. These obstacles included the arrival of foreign crew members in Indonesian territory, which resulted in fines/sanctions for the owner. Miscommunication between the agent and the owner also led to delays in crew changes during the boarding and disembarking process. Efforts taken by PT Penascop Maritim Indonesia, Palembang branch, included double-checking emails to avoid miscommunication and overstaying foreign crew in Indonesia, exchanging information about any obstacles encountered in the field, and evaluating the issues

Abstract

Digital information protection has become a primary concern for modern security institutions, particularly units responsible for managing classified documents and cyber investigations. To develop a web-based cryptographic application implementing Advanced Encryption Standard for securing digital files. This study employs a waterfall system development lifecycle encompassing requirement analysis, architectural design, coding, and evaluation phases. The platform was constructed using modern JavaScript technologies integrating AES-256 GCM mode encryption and PBKDF2 key derivation functions to strengthen password-based authentication mechanisms. The application successfully executes encryption-decryption processes adhering to international security standards. The platform supports multi-format file processing without capacity limitations, featuring an intuitive interface with drag-drop functionality. Security evaluation demonstrates resilience against brute-force attacks through implementation of 100,000 PBKDF2 iterations and 128-bit salt randomization. The constructed web cryptographic platform effectively enhances digital asset protection through robust encryption standard implementation and practical interface design. This research opens opportunities for exploring post-quantum cryptographic algorithms as anticipation for future computational threats, integrating digital signature mechanisms for document authenticity verification, constructing comprehensive activity logging systems, implementing layered encryption for highest data classification levels,

Abstract

So the problem in this study is where every open match and during training for the Kalimantong Volleyball Team players, lack of speed and agility training, causes players to lose a lot of balls when defending, and attacking in volleyball games is not good in terms of speed and agility. So it often causes defeat for the team. Research Objectives To find out whether there is an effect of foot spedd ladder drill training on increasing the speed of the Kalimantong Volleyball Team players. The research design used a two group pretest-posttest design. The research sample is all players of the Kalimantong Volleyball Team, totaling 12 people. The research sampling technique used population study research. The research instrument used a speed test with 30 meters and an agility test instrument using a shutel run. From the results of statistical data analysis, the effect of foot spedd ladder drill training on increasing the speed and agility of Kalimantong Volleyball Team players, so that the tcount value X1 (speed) is 4,293 and X2 (agility) is 2,643 values simultaneously between Y and X1 and X2 draws the conclusion of the analysis table at a significant level of 5% with the number of samples (n - 1) namely 11 of 1,796. So, looking at the results of the foot sped ladder drill exercise on the increase in speed from tcount > ttable (4,293 > 1,796), and the increase in speed from tcount > ttable (2,643 > 1,796), it can be concluded that "there is an effect of the foot sped ladder drill exercise on increasing speed and the agility of the Kalimantong Volleyball Team players which means there is a significant influence.
