<![CDATA[People who believe have standards in living their lives in the world and the fact is that there are not a few people who believe today who no longer make the word of God the standard, but themselves. Obedience in carrying out the law is a truth that must be upheld and at the same time they stumble with the measurement they are using because it is not in accordance with the word of God. In the study of the Gospel of Matthew 5: 17-48 the author uses qualitative methods and uses the hermeneutic principle method which refers to the principles and ways of exegesis and exegesis in which interpretation focuses on a passage of the Bible and systematically and thoroughly finds its original meaning. The author also uses the exposition by paying attention to the application and relationship of the passage in the Bible to the circumstances under study by the author. The results of the study found that the phrase "religious life" in the context of the passage of Matthew 5: 17-48, which means that Jesus' control of true truth is not only obedience that can be seen by humans through the act of obeying the law but obedience from the heart. All those who are called to obey from their hearts and their whole lives to God.]]>

<![CDATA[This research intends to analyze how to develop and maximize the potential of the self that God has given with the aim of God's glory. This research method uses a literature study. Based on the author's study in the Bible, especially in the Gospel of Matthew 25: 14-30, the author finds several spiritual principles that must be understood regarding the development of self-potential so that a person can develop their potential properly and responsibly. In this text, Jesus is explaining the Kingdom of Heaven through a parable of a person who wants to travel and entrusts his property to entrusted people. It is clear that Jesus is emphasizing some important spiritual principles regarding how one should develop the potential and opportunities that one has been given. Without having the right understanding and awareness of the need to develop one's potential based on the truth of God's Word, one will never maximally develop one's potential in life as desired by God.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the priestly culture of Christians today theologically and practically. The issue of the priestly function of Christians that has not been running well is a challenge for the lives of Christians today. This research uses a qualitative method with the type of literature study. The results of the study state that theologically, the text of 1 Peter 2:9 states the eternal existence of the priesthood of believers as a royal priesthood. This means that God guarantees the priesthood of believers with the intention that when God appoints His people as priests, He maintains the priesthood of His people, and He guides His people as priests in the present life and in the future.]]>

<![CDATA[The article is a commentary on the Spritual significance in the song of Solomon 1:6 based on Origen view of the song of song commentary and homilies origen and another book by Gregory of nysa as homilies on the song of song. It was a book that blotted out the black spiritual significance of the song of Solomon. Many of god’s servants today have been inspired to convey only the literal meaning of the song of Solomon, and are then complemented by the experience and testimony of that servant of God. With the intent of making the hearts of the congregation rejoice even if the message of the text that is presented is irrelevant to the lives of the congregation the servants of the Lord often underestimate or take for granted the spiritual meaning of the song of Solomon because it is viewed only as a song representing the love of a man and a woman who love each other. There are not few servants of the Lord who view the text of the song of Solomon as relevant only to married congregations or to those in their 17th year of age or older. Because it’s so rare that the song of Solomon is preached because it is considered irrelevant in the modern age because it is just plain. This was the basic for the writer’s conception to discuss the book song of Solomon 1:6. Artikel ini adalah sebuah ulasan tentang Makna Spritual Dalam Kidung Agung Ps. 1:6 pandangan berdasarkan Origen dengan judul The Song of Songs Commentary and Homilies Origen dan buku lain oleh Gregory of Nysa yaitu Homilies on the Song of Songs. Yaitu sebuah buku yang membahas mengenai makna spiritual hitam dalam kitab kidung agung. Kebanyakan di zaman sekarang ini banyak hamba Tuhan yang hanya menyampaikan makna dari teks Kidung Agung secara literal saja, kemudian di lengkapi dengan pengalaman serta kesaksian hamba Tuhan tersebut. Dengan maksud membuat hati para jemaat menjadi senang meskipun pesan dari teks yang disampaikan tidak relevan dengan kehidupan jemaatnya. Hamba Tuhan seringkali menyepelekan atau tidak serius dalam menyampaikan makna spiritual dari teks Kidung Agung, karena dianggap hanya sebagai suatu nyanyian yang melambangkan antara cinta seorang pria dan wanita yang saling mencintai. Tidak sedikit hamba Tuhan yang berpandangan bahwa teks Kidung Agung ini dianggap relevan hanya bagi jemaat yang sudah berkeluarga atau kepada jemaat yang sudah menginjak usia 17 tahun ke atas. Oleh sebab itu Kidung Agung sangat jarang di khotbahkan karena dianggap tidak relevan di zaman kekinian sebab hanya ditujuhkan kepada kalangan-kalangan tertentu saja. Pandangan ini merupakan pandangan yang dangkal karena salah diartikan. Hal itulah yang mendasari penulis sehingga penulis tertarik untuk membahas kitab kidung agung 1:6.]]>

<![CDATA[The story of the fall of man is told dramatically in Genesis 3: 1-24. This story illustrates how humans abuse their freedom as rational beings who are called to love God and others. Human disloyalty to this calling causes humans to be expelled from Eden. The fall into sin not only makes humans lose guarantees and protection but also brings suffering. In this situation, Satan uses the state of sin to tempt people to do evil. Therefore, this research aims to find the origins of evil and human efforts to get out of the shackles of sin. Because the fall of humans into sin is caused by humans listening more to the tempter (satan) than God. This study uses the method of literature study. This research finds that God is not the cause of human suffering but rather the human rejection of God's love. So, to obtain happiness, humans must get out of the shackles of sin by using free will to fight the temptations of the evil one. Kisah kejatuhan manusia dikisahkan secara dramatis dalam Kejadian 3: 1-24. Kisah ini melukiskan bagaimana manusia menyalahgunakan kebebasannya sebagai makhluk yang berakal budi yang dipanggil untuk mencintai Allah dan sesama. Ketidaksetiaan manusia terhadap panggilan ini membuat manusia diusir dari Eden. Kejatuhan dalam dosa tidak hanya membuat manusia kehilangan jaminan dan perlindungan tetapi juga mendatangkan penderitaan. Dalam situasi ini, setan menggunakan keadaan dosa untuk menggoda manusia untuk melakukan kejahatan. Karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan menemukan asal-usul kejahatan dan upaya manusia untuk keluar dari belenggu dosa. Sebab kejatuhan manusia dalam dosa disebabkan karena manusia lebih mendengarkan si penggoda (setan) dari pada Allah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Allah bukanlah penyebab penderitaan manusia melainkan penolakan manusia terhadap kasih Allah. Maka, untuk memperoleh kebahagiaan, manusia harus keluar dari belenggu dosa dengan menggunakan kehendak bebas untuk melawan godaan si jahat.]]>

<![CDATA[Catechism is a church formation to educate youth consider maturity in faith. Catechization is usually goes for a long period, however, due to Covid-19 pandemic, catechization’s timing become uncertainty and tends to be shorter. This is also happened at GKE Tangkiling as Evangelical Church in Kalimantan. Due to pandemic, implementation of the catechism for youth was carried out within two months. Through this research, the writer describes the catechization activities, catechization material which is packaged in a more concise manner and the way the teacher delivers its material in limited time. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. From the results, it was found that catechism activities were carried out 6-8 times in November to December 2020 with one meeting in one week. Meanwhile, in the second week of December, catechism activities were held four times. Duration of catechism activity was approximately two hours. The material that presented to youth participants was very limited by summarizing the catechism guidelines by GKE. The catechism teacher selects and packs material that is considered very close and relevant to the lives of youth participants, such as good courtship, utilizing one's talents and potential and material about church life. The teacher also chooses sharing method according to the agreement of the catechism participants so that the available time can be used as effectively as possible. Katekisasi merupakan bentuk pembinaan gereja yang bertujuan mendidik remaja kepada kedewasaan iman. Katekisasi biasanya dilakukan dalam jangka waktu yang cukup lama, namun demikian karena pandemi Covid-19 waktu pelaksanaan katekisasi menjadi tidak menentu dan cenderung lebih pendek. Hal ini juga terjadi di GKE Tangkiling, karena pandemi maka pelaksanaan katekisasi sidi dilaksanakan dalam kurun waktu dua bulan. Melalui penelitian ini, penulis mendeskripsikan kegiatan katekisasi, materi katekisasi yang dikemas secara lebih ringkas dan cara pengajar menyampaikan materi katekisasi di tengah keterbatasan waktu di GKE Tangkiling. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa kegiatan katekisasi dilaksanakan 6-8 kali pertemuan pada bulan November s.d Desember Tahun 2020 dengan mekanisme satu kali pertemuan dalam satu minggu. Sedangkan pada minggu kedua pada Bulan Desember, kegiatan katekisasi dilaksanakan empat kali pertemuan. Durasi kegiatan katekisasi dilaksanakan kurang lebih dua jam. Materi yang disampaikan kepada peserta sangat terbatas dengan merangkum dari pedoman katekisasi GKE. Pengajar katekisasi memilih dan mengemas materi yang dianggap sangat dekat dan relevan dengan kehidupan remaja selaku peserta katekisasi sidi seperti, hubungan pacaran yang baik, memanfaatkan talenta dan potensi diri dan materi tentang kehidupan bergereja. Pengajar katekisasi memilih metode sharing sebagaimana kesepakatan peserta katekisasi sehingga waktu yang tersedia dapat digunakan seefektif mungkin. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterbatasan waktu dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan katekisasi sidi sehingga berdampak kurang maksimalnya materi disampaikan kepada peserta katekisasi.]]>

<![CDATA[Each shepherd has his own strategy or way of serving the Lord's people and reaching out to the lost. Likewise with the congregational shepherd who serves at the Indonesian Gospel Tabernacle Church (GKII) bukit Moria Kasongan Congregation. Until now, the congregation at GKII Bukit Moria Kasongan Congregation continues to exist and continues to show spiritual growth. Therefore, the author will examine how the strategy of pastoral service to the congregation in GKII of the Bukit Moria Kasongan congregation in Central Kalimantan. The purpose of this study is to explain how the pastoral ministry strategy is an effort to grow the spirituality of the congregation at GKII Bukit Moria Kasongan Congregation. The author uses qualitative research methods by collecting data through interviews with congregational pastors, congregational governing bodies and congregational members. Based on the results of the author's research, it can be concluded that from several pastoral ministry strategies carried out by shepherds such as Pastoral Counseling, Pastoral Admonition, God's Word Ministry, and Discipleship, it has an impact on the spiritual growth of the congregation at GKII Bukit Moria Kasongan which can be seen in terms of quality, namely through the attitude of life or the character of the faithful congregation in serving God and is willing to be involved in the ministry and can testify about God's help through his life. Setiap gembala memiliki strategi atau cara tersendiri dalam melayani umat Tuhan dan menjangkau orang-orang yang terhilang. Begitu juga dengan gembala sidang yang melayani di Gereja Kemah Injil Indonesia (GKII) Jemaat Bukit Moria Kasongan. Hingga saat ini, jemaat di GKII Jemaat Bukit Moria Kasongan tetap eksis dan terus menunjukkan pertumbuhan secara rohani. Oleh karena itu, penulis akan meneliti bagaimana strategi pelayanan pastoral kepada jemaat yang ada di GKII jemaat Bukit Moria Kasongan Kalimantan Tengah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan bagaimana strategi pelayanan pastoral sebagai upaya pertumbuhan rohani jemaat di GKII Jemaat Bukit Moria Kasongan. Penulis menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara kepada gembala sidang, Badan Pengurus Jemaat maupun anggota jemaat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian penulis, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dari beberapa strategi pelayanan pastoral yang dilakukan oleh gembala seperti, Konseling Pastoral, Perkunjungan Pastoral, Pelayanan Firman Tuhan, dan Pemuridan, berdampak bagi pertumbuhan rohani jemaat di GKII Bukit Moria Kasongan yang dapat dilihat dari segi kualitas yaitu melalui sikap hidup atau karakter jemaat setia dalam melayani Tuhan dan bersedia dilibatkan dalam pelayanan serta dapat bersaksi tentang pertolongan Tuhan melalui kehidupannya.]]>

<![CDATA[Disabled people do not have a proper place in church management. The stigmatization of their abilities can cause marginalization of people with disabilities. The stigmatization of people with disabilities is triggered because much of society still adhere to traditional beliefs. The lack of public understanding of the reality of people with disabilities is due to people's knowledge about the real world of people with disabilities. This paper intends to explain the congregation's understanding of people with disabilities and how the church empowers people with disabilities. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. This study found that initially, it was difficult for people with disabilities to accept their situation. However, they can rise and think positively because they receive assistance from the church. The church assembly activates the Diakonia program through material assistance, pastoral assistance, and empowerment. Now people with disabilities are starting to become independent individuals and actively involved in ministry. For this reason, to increase understanding of the reality of people with disabilities in society, it is necessary to introduce the world of people with disabilities to early childhood through various types of children's literature. Kaum difabel belum mendapat tempat yang layak dalam penatalanan gereja. Marginalisasi terhadap kaum difabel dapat disebabkan adanya stigmatisasi terhadap kemampuan mereka. Stigmatisasi terhadap difabel, dipicu oleh adanya sebagian besar masyarakat yang masih menganut paham tradisional. Kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat mengenai realitas kaum difabel disebabkan pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai dunia kaum difabel yang sebenarnya. Tulisan ini bermaksud menjelaskan pemahaman jemaat tentang kaum difabel serta bagaimana gereja memberdayakan kaum difabel. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa penyandang difabel awalnya sulit untuk menerima keadaannya. Akan tetapi mereka dapat bangkit dan berpikir positif karena mendapat pendampingan dari gereja. Majelis gereja menggiatkan program diakonia baik berupa bantuan materi, pendampingan pastoral dan pemberdayaan. Kini kaum difabel mulai menjadi pribadi yang mandiri dan terlibat aktif dalam pelayanan. Untuk itu, dalam upaya meningkatkan pemahaman mengenai realitas kaum difabel dalam masyarakat, perlu dilakukan pengenalan dunia kaum difabel terhadap anak usia dini melalui berbagai jenis bacaan anak-anak.]]>
