Abstract

Introduction: Bilateral Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) post Sauve-Kapandji is a complication following the Sauve-Kapandji procedure, characterized by wrist pain, stiffness, and swelling. These symptoms impair hand function and daily activities, necessitating effective rehabilitation strategies. Early intervention is essential to prevent long-term disability. Purpose: To evaluate the effectiveness of Tendon Gliding Exercises in managing bilateral CTS post Sauve-Kapandji and improving functional outcomes. Methods: A case repost was conducted at Dr. Sardjito Hospital on a 51-year-old female patient diagnosed with bilateral CTS post Sauve-Kapandji. Interventions included Tendon Gliding Exercises performed twice weekly for four weeks, supported by medications. Evaluations used tools such as Numeric Pain Rating Scale (NRS), Manual Muscle Testing (MMT), goniometry, and Wrist Hand Disability Index (WHDI). Results: After eight sessions, significant improvements were observed: pain intensity decreased from 5/10 to 3/10, muscle strength increased from 3/5 to 4/5, ROM improved (flexion: 30° to 50°; extension: 30° to 40°), and WHDI scores dropped from 21 to 18. However, optimal functional recovery requires extended therapy and adherence to home-based exercises. Conclusion: Tendon Gliding Exercises effectively reduce symptoms and improve physical function in bilateral CTS post Sauve-Kapandji. Extended therapy duration and consistency are crucial for maximizing functional recovery.

Abstract

Upah merupakan isu sensitif dalam hubungan industrial. Di samping itu, sistem pengupahan merupahan instrumen penting dalam dunia ketenagakerjaan. Demi menjamin hak-hak pekerja untuk mendapat upah layak, maka ditetapkanlah adanya upah minimum. Segala hal terkait perhitungan besaran upah minimum sangat bergantung pada kebijakan dan peraturan perundang-undangan yang ada. Walaupun demikian, dalam formulasi skala perhitungan besaran Upah Minimum Provinsi masih didapati beberapa hal yang merugikan para tenaga kerja. Metode penulisan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah yuridis normatif, yaitu studi kepustakaan dengan proses pengumpulan bahan, data, dan materi yang memuat informasi terkait formulasi perhitungan upah minimum di Indonesia dan konflik pengupahan di Provinsi DKI Jakarta tahun 2022. Pengumpulan bahan hukum dilakukan dengan cara mengidentifikasi dan menginventarisasi hukum positif, buku, jurnal serta berbagai sumber bahan hukum lainnya. Berdasarkan hasil studi kepustakaan tersebut diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa konflik pengupahan yang terjadi di provinsi DKI Jakarta tahun 2022 adalah karena formulasi perhitungan besaran upah minimum yang terdapat dalam Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 36 Tahun 2021 tentang Pengupahan sebagai aturan turunan dari Undang-undang Nomor 11 Tahun 2020 tentang Cipta Kerja, masih belum mencerminkan prinsip-prinsip keadilan. Hal ini karena formulasi perhitungan yang menggunakan PP RI Nomor 36 Tahun 2021 ini membawa kenaikan UMP DKI Jakarta tahun 2022 yang sangat kecil, bahkan di bawah persentase laju inflasi. Kebijakan upah minimum sejatinya diarahkan untuk menciptakan upah layak guna menjamin kesejahteraan pekerja dan hubungan industrial yang harmonis

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of the differentiated learning in accommodating the diverse learning needs of the students, especially in IPAS subjects in the 4th Grade of elementary school. However, based on the teacher's view in implementing it, he or she still faces various obstacles, especially related to the teacher's ability ino design and implement the differentiated learning comprehensively. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research that aims to describe the teacher's ability in implementing the differentiated learning. The data were collected through the interviews, observations, and questionnaires and data analyzed using: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions based on the Miles and Huberman techniques. The research was conducted at SDN 132 Bulujampi, Sinjai Regency with the 4th Grade teacher as the subject. The supporting instruments in this study were interview guidelines, observation sheets, and questionnaire sheets. Results and conclusions: the ability of the 4th Grade teacher of SDN 132 Bulujampi in implementing the differentiated learning in IPAS subjects are (1) the ability of the teacher in terms of identifying the student needs: teacher is able to understand the student diversity in order to design learning, (2) the ability of the teacher in terms of learning procedures: teacher is able to use various learning procedures that are varied and in accordance with the student needs, (3) the ability of the teacher in terms of content differentiation: teacher is able to provide the relevant materials and in accordance with the needs and learning styles of the students, (4) the ability of the teacher in terms of process differentiation: teacher is able to provide guidance to all the students in following learning well, (5) the ability of teacher in terms of product/task differentiation: teacher is able to provide the differentiated tasks and (6) in terms of providing the feedback and assessment, teacher is able to provide the feedback and assessment that is in accordance with the student development

Abstract

This study is a qualitative study that aims to determine the Student Learning Motivation in IPAS learning. The subjects in this study were of the fifth grade students of SD Inpres 3/77 Arasoe. The data collection techniques for this study were of the interview, observation and questionnaire techniques. The data analysis techniques in this study were of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results and the conclusions of the study showed a picture of the learning motivation of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 3/77 Arasoe in IPAS learning, namely the students ask the teacher if there are some things that are considered difficult to understand without being asked to ask, the students look for references themselves to find out the answers the problems that they do not know the solution to, the students have aspirations to succeed, students remain committed to learning even though they do not get awards, and the students hope that learning IPAs is always in the form of practice

Abstract

This study aims to determine the design of the development of teaching materials based on Problem-Based Learning in learning Theme 4 My Hero, grade IV of SD Swasta PAB 33 Sidodadi and to determine the feasibility of teaching material products based on the Problem-Based Learning model in learning Theme 4 My Hero, grade IV of SD Swasta PAB 33 Sidodadi. In this study, the researcher used a research and development design which is better known as Research and Development (R&D). The subjects of the trial in the development of thematic teaching materials based on the Problem Based Learning model on the theme of my hero are validators, material experts and textbook experts. The object of this study is a thematic textbook based on the Problem Based Learning model. The product developed is a teaching material based on Problem Based Learning on the theme "My Hero". The total score obtained from the validation of teaching material experts is 98.8 with the category "Very Eligible", from the final validation of material experts, namely 98 with the category "Very Eligible" and from learning experts 92.2 with the category "Very Eligible". The average score from the expert assessment is 96.33. From the score, it can be said that the Problem Based Learning-based teaching material on the theme "My Hero" that was developed is "Very Suitable" for use in the learning process in grade IV of elementary school

Abstract

The Jolly Phonics method is a way of teaching reading by using letter sound synthesis to read words and teaching the sounds of letters in a multisensory manner. Learning to read at an early stage using a phonics approach is a very good first step for children. Children who hear a variety of sounds in words and who are able to use the sounds in words are more successful in learning to read. This research aims to analyze the effect of using the Jolly Ponics method with a cooperative model on the reading ability of class II students at SD Negeri 101931 Perbaungan. The research uses quantitative research. This study used research instruments in the form of a pretest and posttest to test the effect of using the jolly ponics method with a cooperative model on reading ability in class II students at SD Negeri 101931 Perbaungan. Based on the research results and discussions that have been found, the researcher can draw the conclusion that the simple linear regression equation from this research is: Y = 11.575 + 0.414X. The constant value (a) is 11.575. This means that if the Jolly Ponics Method variable (X) has a value of 0, then the value is positive, namely 11,575. The regression coefficient value for the Jolly Ponics Method variable (X) is positive, namely 0.414. This means that if there is an increase in the Jolly Ponics Method (X) by 1%, then students' reading ability will increase by 0.414 assuming other variables are constant. There is a positive influence between the jolly ponics method on the reading ability of class II students at SD Negeri 101931 Perbaungan, this is proven by the t-count value of the jolly ponics method variable of 2.358

Abstract

Osteoartritis (OA) genu merupakan salah satu bentuk penyakit degeneratif sendi yang ditandai dengan nyeri, penurunan fungsi, dan keterbatasan aktivitas. Salah satu intervensi untuk mengurangi keluhan tersebut adalah latihan strengthening otot quadriceps, mengingat peran penting otot ini dalam stabilitas lutut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan strengthening otot quadriceps pada pasien osteoartritis genu sinistra. Metode penelitian menggunakan desain studi kasus dengan satu orang responden berusia 62 tahun yang mengalami osteoartritis genu sinistra. Intervensi latihan strengthening otot quadriceps dilakukan selama 2 minggu dengan frekuensi 3 kali seminggu. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan skala Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC) sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Hasil menunjukkan adanya penurunan skor WOMAC dari 58 menjadi 42, yang mengindikasikan adanya perbaikan dalam aspek nyeri, kekakuan, dan fungsi fisik. Kesimpulannya, latihan strengthening otot quadriceps memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap penurunan gejala osteoartritis genu sinistra, sehingga dapat direkomendasikan sebagai salah satu modalitas terapi konservatif pada pasien dengan kondisi serupa.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of class III elementary school students in An-Najwa, Medan Marelan District, Medan City. This research is a Class Action Research (Clasroom Research). The subjects in this study were 17 students of class III SD. Instruments and data collection techniques used in the research cycle 1 and cycle 2 are observation of student learning activities, teacher teaching observations, test questions and documentation. In Cycle I, the results of observing student learning activities obtained 75% in the good category, the results of observing teacher teaching obtained 77.7% in the good category and the results of observing student learning using the role playing model in cycle 1 obtained an average of 76.64% in the category good. In cycle II the results of observing student learning activities obtained 90% in the very good category, the results of observing teacher teaching obtained 88.8% in the very good category and the results of observing student learning using the role playing model in cycle 2 obtained an average of 94.12% in the very good category . There was an increase in student learning outcomes of 17.65% in cycle II, from 76.64% in cycle 1 to 94.12% in cycle II. Thus it can be concluded that the use of role playing models can improve student learning outcomes on the theme of loving plants and animals in class III of SD An-Najwa
