Abstract

This study reveals that there is an increasing learners activity after learning by story telling method in the Kindergarten of Musara Ate, Blang Kolak 1, District of Bebesan, Central Aceh Regency, Province Aceh in 2014/2015 school year. In the beginning, there were difficulties faced by children  in terms of speaking skills in telling information orally in learning processes. The difficulties mainly in to comment on their lessons in the classroom. Secondly, learners always confused and difficult to get inspired to speak. Third learners mostly silent when the teacher opens the question and answer session, so the level is very low speaking learners. In addition to these problems, the students lack motivation in learning noticed that interest to argue no idea who will be disclosed. This study uses action research (action research) as much as two cycles. Each round consists of four phases: design, action and observation, reflection and revision. Based on these results it can be concluded that the activities of learners per cycle increased significantly. Of the five aspects of the observations which is an indicator of student learning activities that liveliness asked, express opinions, answer questions, active in doing the task, working in groups active in most of the authors observe already mastered.

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the implementation of school based management in SD Negeri Genuk 01 District West Ungaran in terms of context, input, process and product. This study was qualitative evaluative research using CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model of evaluation developed by Stufflebeam. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. Test validity of data using triangulation technique. The results showed that: 1) from the context evaluation, school based management is needed by all stakeholders of the school to improve the quality of education; 2) from the input evaluation, human resources, curriculum, facilities, and funds were sufficient and ready to be used for the implementation of the school based management in primary School Genuk 01; 3) from the process evaluation, the implementation of school based management was not fully in accordance with the plan, especially in the decision making process and the learning process; 4) from the product evaluation, product (output) produced has not been as expected. It is therefore recommended that the school based management program continued with improvements in program implementation process.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aims to improve the competence of developing thematic learning plans in improving the quality of thematic learning in class I, II, and III in primary school Ungaran 05. Subjek research in this action research is a low-grade teacher at SD Negeri Ungaran 05. The school action researcher was conducted in two cycles, with the stages of planning, acting, observing and reflecting in each cycle. The collected data is analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of school action research concluded that group supervision with collaborative approach can improve the competence of lower class teachers in Elementary School Ungaran 05 in preparing thematic lesson planning.

Abstract

Abstract: Reading comprehension is flexible and sustainable cognitive and constructive process. Students 'understanding of reading content is still low, therefore there is need strategies to improve students' reading comprehension ability. One of strategy that can be used in reading comprehension learning is Accelerated Learning based on baroque music. Baroque music has no lyrics and neutral, besides that the baroque music have a strong influence on the ability to absorb information and memorize it. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in scores on the read comprehension ability of fifth grade students of elementary school before and after learning using Accelerated Learning based on baroque music. The design of this study uses nonequivalent control group with data collection techniques using test. The collected data were tested using Independent Sample t-test with a significance level of 5%. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the score of reading comprehension ability of fifth grade students of elementary school before and after learning using Accelerated Learning based on baroque music.Keywords: reading comprehension, learning strategy, Accelerated Learning, baroque music Abstrak: Membaca pemahaman adalah proses kognitif dan konstruktif yang fleksibel dan berkelanjutan. Pemahaman siswa mengenai isi bacaan masih belum optimal, oleh karena itu perlu adanya strategi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa. Salah satu strategi yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran membaca pemahaman adalah Accelerated Learning berbasis musik barok. Musik barok tidak memiliki lirik dan netral, selain itu musik barok memiliki pengaruh yang kuat pada kemampuan untuk menyerap informasi dan menghafalnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan skor pada kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas 5 sekolah dasar sebelum dan sesudah belajar menggunakan Accelerated Learning berbasis musik barok. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan nonequivalent control group dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes. Data yang terkumpul diuji menggunakan Independent Sample t-test dengan tingkat signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara skor kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas 5 sekolah dasar sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran yang menerapkan Accelerated Learning berbasis musik barok.Kata kunci: membaca pemahaman, strategi pembelajaran, Accelerated Learning, musik barok

Abstract

Abad 21 diperlukan pemikir kritis dan mampu memecahkan masalah dan secara aktif berpartisipasi dalam membuat keputusan tentang isu-isu lokal dan global yang terbentuk melalui proses berpikir. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menjelaskan bentuk pertanyaan yang sering digunakan guru dan kebutuhan instrumen penilaian yang digunakan guru untuk mengukur Keterampilan Berpikir Tingkat Tinggi (HOTS) yang disesuaikan dengan tingkat perkembangan siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Sampel penelitian adalah 34 guru sekolah dasar di Surakarta, Jawa Tengah, Indonesia. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik snow-ball sampling, sedangkan sumber data penelitian adalah guru dan dokumen dasar. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah wawancara mendalam, kuesioner, dan analisis dokumen. Validitas data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknis. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis interaktif termasuk (1) pengumpulan data, (2) reduksi data, (3) penyajian data, dan (4) kesimpulan. Temuan penelitian termasuk (1) bentuk pertanyaan deskripsi yang paling sering digunakan guru dan pertanyaan pilihan ganda hanya mengukur C1 ke C4; (2) 48% guru membutuhkan instrumen penilaian yang dapat digunakan untuk mengukur HOTS.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: (1) teacher acceptance of game-based interactive multimedia as a learning medium; (2) teacher's understanding of game-based interactive multimedia; and (3) teacher assessment of game-based interactive multimedia. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection is done using the method of observation and interviews. Data analysis techniques used are interactive analysis consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that (1) teachers provide good acceptance of game-based interactive multimedia because learning becomes more active and student-centered; (2) interactive multimedia based on simple games so that it is easy to use to help students learn; and (3) the teacher has a good assessment of game-based interactive multimedia so that it can be used as a companion learning media both at school and at home

Abstract

One of the main pillars of a country's economy is the accountability of the stakeholders. In advanced societies of civilization, such accountability is insufficient with oral reports, but should be supported by written accountability reports. Presentation of financial statements is one of written accountability for the financial performance that has been achieved.The aim of this research is how to know financial performance of Badan Perijinan Terpadu dan Penanaman Modal  Kabupaten Serang is analyzed from LRA 2014 2016 using effectivity ratio and efficiency ratio.The research method used is descriptive quantitative approach. The results of the research show that average effectiveness ratio from 2014-2016 102% is very effective. This is because the realization of local retribution revenue has increased from year to year. The ratio of efficiency of Badan Perijinan Terpadu dan Penanaman Modal  Kabupaten Serangshowed that the average efficiency ratio is 92%,its mean that less efficient. This is because operational expenditure and capital expenditure increase every year. Abstract

Indonesia has implemented the 2013 curriculum as a text-based learning framework. The text is used as a defender of science. The logical consequence, language skills are an absolute requirement for students so that they can achieve learning goals. On the other hand, writing is the highest skill in the language. Therefore, the study was aimed to describe the explanatory writing skills of fifth-grade elementary students. This research is a descriptive qualitative study using a sample of fifth-grade students in public elementary schools in the city of Surakarta, Central Java, Indonesia. Data collection techniques using documents and interviews. Source triangulation is used as data validity. The results showed that the greatest difficulty students had in writing explanations was writing cohesive and coherent sentences and paragraphs. They are only able to write their ideas without regard to syntactic rules. These writing skills involve students' metacognitive skills which also reflect other language skills such as listening and reading. This research output will be useful for academics and practitioners in determining the right learning approach to improve the success of text-based learning or the 2013 curriculum.
