Abstract

Kajian ini berangkat dari asumsi dasar bahwa sebuah karya sastra, termasuk puisiyang menjadi kajian utama artikel ini, bukanlah sebuah karya biasa. Seorangpenyair mempunyai gagasan yang ingin disampaikan melalui bahasa yang iagunakan. Kebanyakan puisi di dalamnya mengusung nilai kehidupan, pesan,kesan dan lain sebagainya. Bahasa puisi bukanlah bahasa yang digunakan secaraumum, meskipun bahasa itu sering digunakan oleh kalangan umum namun bagipenyair memiliki makna tersendiri. Ketika pembaca tidak memahami maksudbahasa yang digunakan penyair maka pembaca tidak memahami makna yangterkandung. Sebagai pembaca, dituntut kritis dan menginterpretasi akan bahasayang digunakan penyair. Karena dari situlah pembaca bisa memaknai danmemahami maksud dari bahasa yang digunakan penyair. Tulisan ini mengkajipuisi Al-Lugah al-‘Arabiyyah Tan’a Hażuha Bayna Ahliha karya Hafidz Ibrahimdengan pendekatan bahasa dengan menggunakan teori Semiotika Ferdinand deSaussure bertujuan mengungkap makna dibalik bahasa penyair.

Abstract

Selama ini pengkaji atau pendidik bahasa Arab tampaknya baru sekedarmemposisikan bahasa Arab sebagai alat (wasîlah) untuk memahami teks ke-Islaman yang berbahasa Arab dan belum memfungsikannya sebagai sebuahdisiplin ilmu yang perlu dikembangkan melalui berbagai penelitian dan pembacaankembali secara kritis. Tantangan dan berbagai persoalan yang dihadapi pendidikanbahasa Arab tidak mungkin dapat dipecahkan secara personal, tetapi harus melaluipendekatan institusional dan melibatkan banyak pihak. Pendidikan bahasa Arabsebagai peluang yang dapat memberikan prospek yang lebih cerah dan menjanjikanbagi peminat dan penggiat studi bahasa Arab di masa depan. Epistemologi keilmuan dan kurikulum perlu dibenahi dan diorientasikan kepadapembentukan kemahiran yang kompetitif di era global ini. Semua itu menuntut banyak pihakuntuk bersinergi dalam menyatukan visi, misi, arah kebijakan dan pengembanganyang dilandasi oleh kajian akademik yang mendalam.

Abstract

This study was aimed at investigating the effectiveness of an English song entitled ‘Because You Loved Me’ to teach past simple. Past simple itself is oneof the necessary yet problematic tenses for learners. The research employed was quasi-experimental pretest-post-test design was employed in this research. Thepopulation of this study was five classes of the first grade students of senior highschool. Due to the high number of the population, this research only used twoclasses as the sampling - one class as the experimental group and the other oneas the control group. This research was carried out through four stages namelypretest, treatment implementation, post-test and data analysis. The result of thedata analysis showed that ‘Because You Loved Me’ song is effective for teachingpast simple. The value of t-test was higher than the t-table. The result of t-test formula was 1.91, and the t-table was 1.67. Overall, English song entitled ‘Because You Loved Me’ is effective to teach past simple and using songs in EFLclassrooms may also provide comfortable and interesting teaching and learningprocess.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of information technology-based Arabic learning media in the Arabic Language Center (PKPBA) UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. This research is a descriptive quantitative study. The research subjects are lecturers of PKPBA UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang 2018-2019. The research instruments are observation and questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical data analysis. The results shows that: 1) most lecturers (90%) have used information technology-based learning media in Arabic learning, 2) information technology-based learning media used are diverse, the most used are LCD projector and social media such as WhatsApp, Youtube, and Instagram, and 4) there are many obstacles faced by lecturers when using information technology-based learning media, namely learning media cannot be used for all lessons, media used is not in accordance with the time span of the lesson, the internet connection is low, the electrical power is accidentally shut down, the campus facilities does not support, and the lecturers are unskillfull in using media.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran yang umumnya berjalan di setiap kelas hanya terpaku pada satu sumber belajar yaitu buku pelajaran membuat peserta didik merasa jenuh dalam belajar. Mereka merasa sulit belajar terutama dalam pembelajaran berbicara bahasa Arab. Seorang pendidik harus mampu untuk menciptakan suasana belajar yang menarik dan menyenangkan. Sehingga perlu variasi model materi ajar yang membuat peserta didik tertarik dalam belajar berbicara bahasa Arab. Salah satu cara yaitu dengan melakukan pengembangan materi ajar yang berbasis elektronik seperti pembuatan media 3D Augmented Reality yang bisa di gunakan peserta didik untuk belajar berbicara Bahasa Arab hanya dengan Handphone Android. Model pengembangan yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini nantinya adalah menggunakan metode Research and Development (RnD). Yang mana media ini akan diuji coba pada peserta didik diantaranya kelas yang beranggotakan dalam skala kecil dan kelas yang beranggotakan dalam skal besar. Dengan begitu akan diketahui hasil data yang jelas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) mengembangkan materi ajar secara 3D Augmented Reality untuk pengajaran berbicara bahasa Arab, (2) melihat respon peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran berbicara bahasa Arab yang berbasis elektronik, (3) menganalisis apakah terdapat peningkatan secara signifikan rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik antara yang menggunakan media 3D Augmented Reality dalam pembelajaran berbicara bahasa Arab dengan rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik yang tidak menggunakan media 3D Augmented Reality dalam pembelajaran berbicara bahasa Arab. Dari penelitian yang akan dilakukan ini, diharapkan peserta didik semakin tertarik untuk belajar berbicara bahasa Arab dengan praktis dan efisien.

Abstract

State education world nowadays facing the advance technology of industry revolution, which mean all teaching and learning activity should follow and implement technology also. Education evaluation including study subject in almost all school has started to implement digital evaluation, including MAN Sidoarjo. Otherwise, it is only limited to evaluation; hasn’t guided to teaching media and its materials. Therefore, researcher will try to offer a teaching media design and materials based on state curriculum 2013. The purpose of this research is to know the Arabic teaching media design and its materials based on new media in MAN Sidoarjo. The research method used is descriptive qualitative of research and development design from Borg & Gall level 4 up to designing the product. The result of this research is expected to produce a teaching media based on new media in the form of website especially for teaching Arabic language including practices and the test which is expected can solve the problems of teaching Arabic language in MAN Sidoarjo. Abstract

This article aimed at the role of Authentic Assessment in Implementing In EFL Classroom To Prepare Pre-Service Teachers For Curriculum 2013. Authentic Assessment is a unit that will be the point of discussion in this article. How Authentic Assessment has big influences for understanding and perception of the prospective teacher. Authentic Assessment is an important thing that prospective teacher should understand. This study involves 10 respondents who were students of the 5th semester of English Language Education Program at Universitas Ibn Khaldun. The purpose of this study is to help prospective teacher understanding and prepare about Authentic Assessment. To collect the data the researchers follow some stages, namely filling out the questionnaires, interview, and observation. From the qualitative method, the researcher reported that the respondents’ responses are very diverse. The research findings showed that mostly they do not understand enough what Authentic Assessment is.

Abstract

This article aims to stimulate students' reading comprehension skills using the Reading Aloud technique. Reading aloud is the main axis connecting reading and speaking English. Reading aloud not only increases reading and basic knowledge but also improves oral expression. How the Read aloud technique can stimulate students' reading skills. Reading plays an important role as one of four abilities in improving students' English performance. This study involved 16 respondents who were 5th-semester students of the English Language Education Program at Ibn Khaldun University. This research was a descriptive study in which the researcher used a qualitative method. Data collected by interview, questionnaire, and observation. The results of the study showed that most of them did not agree with the techniques from Reading aloud. Based on respondents' statements, we found that the use of the reading method with hard reading techniques helped students to stimulate reading comprehension, especially to help students in pronunciation.

Abstract

In learning Arabic, dictionaries are important thing in helping students understanding vocabulary. Understanding vocabulary does not depend on the translation directly but also requires illustrating the image to make students' understanding is easier.Especially, for students who have learned Arabic inMadrasah Ibtidaiyah. The supporting media in the form of dictionaries are expected to help students to be able to learn independently. The objectives of this study were to: (1) develop Arabic picture dictionary for 1st, 2nd, and 3rdgrade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah and, (2) Describe eligibility of developing Arabic picture dictionary for for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. This study used development theory referring to the R & D model according to Borg and Gall. The subjects in this study were 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Sunan Kalijogo Malang. The types of data in this study are quantitative and qualitative data. The data collection of this study obtained from (1) media expertise, (2) material expertise, (3) Arabic teachers in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Sunan Kalijogo, and (4) 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Sunan Kalijogo Malang. The results of this study are: (1) Arabic picture dictionary for 1st, 2nd, and 3rdgrade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, consists of 23 chapters that have been grouped according to themes and also classes, and this dictionary is equipped with aphorisms that motivate students in learning (2) eligibility of developing Arabic picture dictionary for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, declared valid with an average percentage of 86.35% of media experts, material experts, teachers, and students. Based on the results of this study, the researcher got some suggestions, which are: (1) the students,this Arabic picture dictionary can be used inside or outside the classroom to facilitate them to learning Arabic vocabularies. (2) the Arabic teachers, are using this dictionary as a supporting media to improve student learning motivation and as supporting teaching media in the classroom, (3) further researchers and other media developers, this media should be inspected for the imperfections, modified, enhanced, and developed again to make it better supporting media, and (4) Students of the Arabic Language Teaching Study Program, the results of this study can be used as material for another study and as a further development of another Arabic picture dictionary.

Abstract

This study is aimed to describe (1) wazan-wazan fi'il mazid which are in Al-Quran chapter 28, (2) morphological process in fi'il mazid in Al-Quran chapter 28, (3) morpho-phonemic process in fi'il mazid in Al-Quran chapter 28, (4) the meanings which are contained in fi'il mazid in Al-Quran chapter 28. This study is a descriptive qualitative study. The data source is Al-Quran chapter 28. Data that are taken is put in the analysis table, then being reduced corresponding to the aim of this study. The result of this study shows that: (1) It is found that there are 154 words in Al-Quran chapter 28 with wazan fi'il mazid, (2) Words with wazan fi'il mazid in Al-Quran chapter 28 is occurring two morphological processes on its formation, they are affixation process (affixes addition) and internal modification (harakat transformation). (3) Morphophonemic process of fi'il mazid in Al-Quran chapter 28 is occurring three kinds of process, they are (a) idgham, (b) i'lal, (c) ibdal, and (4) The alteration of meanings in every wazan has their own use/function.
