Abstract

Nikel merupakan salah satu hasil tambang yang ekonomis dan memiliki nilai jual yang cukup tinggi di pasaran dunia. Nikel memiliki banyak manfaat untuk kehidupan antara lain sebagai bahan campuran stainless steel, pelapis anti karat, baterai, dan lain sebagainya. Lokasi penelitian terletak di Desa Wulu, Kecamatan Talaga Raya, Kabupaten Buton Tengah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui kondisi geologi dan mengetahui karakteristik batuan dasar pada daerah penelitian. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan meliputi observasi lapangan, mapping, drilling, preparasi, analisis laboratorium petrografi dan pengolahan studio. Hasil dan pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa kondisi geomorfologi pada daerah penelitian dikategorikan ke dalam satuan bentuk lahan struktural terdenudasi, statigrafi daerah penelitian terbagi menjadi lerzolit dengan tingkat serpentinisasi tinggi dan lerzolit dengan tingkat serpentinisasi sedang dengan karakteristik secara petrologi berwarna hitam, kondisi segar, derajat kristalisasi holokristalin, granularitas faneritik, bentuk kristal subhedral, hubungan antar kristal equigranular (hipidiomorfik), dan komposisi indeks warna mineral melanokratik (60%-90% mineral mafik). Komposisi mineral pada batuan antara lain mineral olivin, piroksen, serpentin, dan magnetit yang termasuk kedalam Formasi Kompleks Ultramafik (Ku) umurnya diperkirakan berumur Kapur Awal.

Abstract

Soil is one of the important materials in building a construction. In construction construction, there are many conditions of very low soil carrying capacity, one way to increase the carrying capacity of the soil so that soil stability increases is by mixing rice husk ash. The method used in the rice husk mixture is an experimental method, namely the calculation of water content obtained an average moisture content of 73.17%. The results of the specific gravity analysis obtained an average soil specific gravity of 2.17 grams. The results of the soil liquid boundary analysis were 59.627%, with an additional mixture of rice husk ash of 3% to 55.15% and additional use of rice husk ash of 9% to 51.37%. The results of the analysis of soil plastic boundaries obtained soil plastic limits of 27.67%, with the addition of a mixture of rice husk ash 3% to 32.20% and additional use of rice husk ash 9% to 38.40%. Conclusion Soil in using a mixture of rice husk ash can improve soil stability and soil properteis index improved when mixed with rice husk ash

Abstract

Vibrations in certain building floor plate systems are excitations that arise from rhythmic human activities such as running, dancing and aerobic movements. The term “frequency content” refers to the number of modes across the floor system frequencies. The first natural frequency (fn), also referred to as the fundamental natural frequency, is used for floor vibrations for design purposes. In terms of fundamental natural frequencies, humans are more sensitive to low frequency vibrations than high frequencies. In response to floor vibrations, the human sensitive range is usually between 4 and 8 HZ. Analysis found that the stair floor plate structure with D10-150 floor reinforcement could withstand the design load. The cause of very pronounced vibrations on the stairs is caused by the natural vibration frequency on the stair plate < 8Hz. The selection of reinforcement for the stair floor plate is carried out in the middle of the floor plate span. After recalculating, the additional stiffness of the floor plate produces a vibration frequency of > 8Hz, so that the vibrations are no longer disturbing.
