Abstract

Human trafficking is one of the most serious crimes still rampant around the world, threatening human rights and individual dignity. An understanding of religious teachings, particularly Islam, can provide an in-depth look into this issue. Surah An-Nur Verse 33 of the Quran becomes the focal point of this study to explore the Islamic perspective on human trafficking. This research aims to analyze the Islamic view on human trafficking through the interpretation of Surah An-Nur Verse 33. The research method used is a qualitative approach. A text analysis of Surah An-Nur Ayat 33 was conducted to identify the moral values and messages contained therein. In addition, a literature study was used to explore the relationship between Islamic views and the actual context of human trafficking. Surah An-Nur Verse 33 asserts that Islam categorically rejects all forms of human slavery and oppression. This verse underscores the importance of preserving human dignity and asserts that the practice of human trafficking goes against the moral principles taught by the Quran. The implication of this understanding is the need for concrete actions in combating human trafficking, including public education efforts and stricter law enforcement. Understanding the Islamic perspective, especially through Surah An-Nur Verse 33, provides a strong moral foundation for the protection of human trafficking victims and the eradication of this criminal practice.

Abstract

The passage of human knowledge that is increasing will be science. One area of such knowledge is related to the Quran, which consists of pronunciation and meaning. The purpose of this writing is to deepen and examine more about the Tasybih section of Bayan knowledge, which is the root of the Balaghah science itself. This research method uses descriptive and analytical studies, and the preparation of this work uses a type of library research, aiming to conceptualize various aspects related to Tasybih in Surat Al-Baqarah. Thus, this research aims to be more analytical, investigative, factual, logical, and accurate. The consequence of the findings in this study is regarding the variations of Tasybih in Surat Al-Baqarah. This Surat is categorized as a Madaniyyah Surat, meaning it was revealed in Madinah. With a total of 286 verses, it uses a beautiful style of language and very charming parables. Therefore, this research is essential to understand correctly the rules of Balaghah science, one of which is Tasybih. Surat Al-Baqarah is particularly notable for its intricate use of language and rhetorical devices, making it a prime subject for studying Tasybih a figure of speech involving comparisons, often used to create vivid imagery and deeper meaning in the text. By delving into the various instances and forms of Tasybih in Surat Al-Baqarah, this research sheds light on how these rhetorical techniques enhance the expressive power and aesthetic appeal of the Quranic message. In addition, this study also explores the broader implications of Tasybih in the context of Islamic teachings and its role in conveying complex theological and moral concepts in an accessible and impactful manner. Understanding these literary devices is crucial for appreciating the depth and nuance of the Quran's message and for developing a more profound connection with the text. By meticulously analyzing the use of Tasybih in Surat Al-Baqarah, this research contributes to a deeper appreciation of the Quran's linguistic artistry and the sophisticated ways in which it communicates its divine message. This study not only highlights the significance of Balaghah in Islamic scholarship but also underscores the importance of literary and rhetorical analysis in the study of religious texts.

Abstract

This research discusses the existence of the practice of retaining the function of the Qur'an beyond its capacity as a revelation, namely "Medicine". The Tauhid Therapy House Nur Hidayah Bantul Yogyakarta (RTT NH) uses certain verses of the Koran, with the aim of healing. The author limits two important issues that need to be studied. How is the practice of reciting verses from the Qur'an as a healing medium in Ruqyah practice at the Tauhid Nur Hidayah Therapy House, Bantul, Yogyakarta? And what is the meaning of reading the verses of the Qur'an in the practice of ruqyah at the Tauhid Nur Hidayah Therapy House, Bantul, Yogyakarta, based on Karl Mainhemm's theory of Sociology of Knowledge? This type of research is qualitative research with field studies using three methods, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The data was analyzed by descriptive-analytic. The results of this study, ruqyah activities carried out at RTT NH are divided into three phases. Pre Therapy, Core Therapy, and Post Therapy. The meanings obtained from the practice of ruqyah in RTT NH are objective meaning, ekspresif meaning, and documentary meaning.

Abstract

Efforts to strengthen religious moderation are faced with great challenges along with the strengthening of ideologies that preach intolerance, radicalism, and terrorism. These ideas indirectly erode the principle of moderation, causing a myriad of problems in society. Not to mention, the existence of identity politics further exacerbates divisions and differences in society, which in turn triggers attitudes of intolerance and radicalism, as happened in the Batu Satangtung case in Cigugur sub-district, Kuningan district. These problems imply a contradiction with the values of the Quran that always uphold tolerance and harmony between religious communities. This paper offers a Quranic solution through the actualization of the concept of mawaddah by strengthening social cohesion. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study research type. Quranic verses are discussed thematically using descriptive-analytic techniques. This study found that the concept of mawaddah can be actualized by strengthening social cohesion so that, in turn, religious moderation will be realized. The form of social cohesion based on Al-Quran values can be manifested in various activities, such as: 1) economic activities; 2) arts and cultural activities; 3) agricultural activities.

Abstract

Sunan Gunung Jati is one of God's guardians who struggled to spread Islam in the archipelago and has a famous advice “Ingsun Titip Tajug lan Fakir Miskin”. This research aims to explore the values of Sunan Gunung Jati's famous advice comprehensively from a theological perspective. The method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach through literature review. The results showed that Sunan Gunung Jati's advice was not only to take care of the tajug (musala) and the poor. However, the value of Ilahiyyah and Insaniyyah reveals the depth of the message to the concept of being a complete human being. The foundation of the naqli argument also illustrates how important it is to maintain the relationship between a servant and his God and fellow creatures. Through theological analysis, the message of Ingsun Titip Tajug Lan Fakir Miskin can be interpreted as profound advice so that humans, especially Muslims, can become pious and humane individuals. Not apart from that, the Prophet Muhammad is also a true human figure who provides an exemplary attitude so that his people strive towards a complete human being by maintaining a balance of hablumminallah and hablumminannass. This research recommends that religious leaders be able to maintain and implement Sunan Gunung Jati's famous advice.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategies, creations, and innovations of driving teachers in integrating the value of religious moderation in religious subjects at school. This research uses a qualitative method by applying a descriptive-analytical approach. The results and discussion show that strengthening religious moderation in education is important as an effort to prevent students from extreme and radical views that lead to terrorism. World civilization in the current era must be equipped with a qualified understanding of religious practices in facing a multicultural society. Religious science and natural science work together in exploring the roots of faith or the founding of civilization. The basis for this integration is the unity of sources, goals, means and groups of knowledge. Religious science offers the purpose of life. Natural sciences offer the means necessary to realize these goals. The positive trend of civilization will continue as long as harmony is created between religious and scientific understanding. This research recommends to the position holders, school leaders in the world of education, students, communities, and other stakeholders not to be easily carried away by radicalism and terrorism.
