Gender and children have global issues because of geographical regions, disciplines, and social and cultural contexts. Abstract

The problem of food security is becoming one of the important issues not only in Indonesia but also in the world. This is apparent from the lifting of the food problem as one of the SDGs intention. In an effort to realize food security the Government initiate activities KRPL with women as the target. The empowerment strategy is carried in this activity indicated by not freeing women but instead perpetuate the hegemony patriarchy. This research seeks to elaborate on how the culture works with patriarchy wrap women's empowerment in KRPL to perpetuate its hegemony through domestication. This research used the qualitative approach, both in gathering techniques as well as data analysis. The required data in the study gained through the study of literature and in-depth interviews. Empowerment activities in KRPL carried no more patriarchy culture in an effort to perpetuate its hegemony. Practices KRPl on the field it is pushed on a domestication against women. Construction on the role of women in domestic activities is supported by regulations that underlie KRPL implementation.Domesticated which happens to female cannot be released from the use of WID approach by the government.

Abstract

This study explains how women lose control access to their own inheritance. While the condition of Jambi highland communities is known as a society that adopts the matrilineal kinship system, where women have a strong position in the ownership of inheritance rights and can take decisions in the management of his inheritance. This perception arises from the opinion of some NGOs in Jambi who are running a REDD + program and feel understand the conditions and situation in the Kerinci area. Matrilineal society is considered to facilitate them in socialization related to women empowerment. This research method used ethnography and interview. The results of this study indicate that women are tradition in a subordinated position, religion regulates male authority over women. Religion stands as a custom, while custom can not escape from religion. Religion regulates all the behaviour of villagers in community life. This forms a different knowledge between men and women towards their environment.

Abstract

Gender reading of misogynist hadiths in this case is aimed at uncovering models of understanding of the traditions of gender-biased prophets, the article not least of the prophetic traditions circulating in society with the style and expression of hatred against women. This has a negative impact on the potential development of women and the existence of sex. Therefore, in this position, the study of gender becomes very urgent to open the variety of understanding with different styles as an attempt to obtain justice and give a new color in understanding, so that interpretation does not become a single truth in understanding the teachings of religion, especially related to the hadith of the Prophet. The results of this study indicate that the gender relations in misogynical hadiths are an attempt to reread with a gender perspective that is more concerned with moral ideals in exploring the traditions of the Prophet, specifically with misogynist hadiths.

Abstract

Child marriage can be seen as an oppression that not all women in the world will experience it. It happens only in poor and traditional countries like in Yemen. Child marriage in Yemen is clearly described in me Nujood, Age 10, and the Divorce novel. Behind the phenomenon of child marriage, there are several relations of relationships that run it from generation to generation. This study aims to find the power relationships behind the marriage of my child that is Nujood, Age 10, and Divorce. This study uses qualitative methods and readings as data collection. The results of this study indicate that there are three power relationships behind the marriage of children: child marriage as a form of preservation of tradition from generation to generation, marriage of children as a solution to the difficulties of the family financial condition, and marriage of children as a form of preservation of illiterate women.

Abstract

The practice of marginalization and subordination is found in many family law provisions produced by jurists. Jamal Al-Banna is an Egyptian thinker who has an interest in women's issues. Through his work, Al-mar'ah Al-Muslimah baina Tahrir Alquran wa Taqyid Al-Fuqaha ', Jamal tries to point out the fact that in practice, the jurists have performed shackles/restrictions (taqyid) against women. This research method using descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that Jamal's thought in his work explains the Qur'an in fact actually gives freedom (tahrir) is full of women. With the starting point of the Qur'an, Jamal began his new things. Jamal seeks to reform the position of women in social structure, For Jamal, social reform can only be done by reconstructing the religious understanding of the smallest institution called family.

Abstract

This research explains about the mixed code that occurs in complex society especially for daily conversation of young women. The purpose of this study is to get a description of the mixed code in the magazine Kawanku, which is to get an idea of how and what factors mix the Indonesian slang code that appears in my magazine. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The findings of the research are the use of foreign languages by Indonesians and they prefer to use non-standard language instead of standard language. The author gets several factors that influence the interference of the code. It is important for Indonesian teenagers to use standard Indonesian when they communicate with each other to preserve their language. This study also aims to make the language study institutions make Indonesian terms in its policy.

Abstract

This article talks about polygamy in the perspective of “al-Amsal fi Tafsir Kitab Allah al-Munazzal”, the Quran’s commentary wich written by Nāṣir Makārim al-Syīrāzī. This article is kind of library’s research. By employing gender theory and discriptical analysis method, this article aims to explore the various concept of polygamy in Islam. As the result of this research, “al-Amṡal Fī Tafsīr Kitāb Allah Al-Munazzal” explained that polygamy was been known and practically committed by many nations in many places for a long time ago. This commentary book also explains the revelation’s occasion of polygamy with the general description. Nāṣir Makārim al-Syīrāzī in this commentary book believes that Islam allows a man to commit the polygamy in requisite he had to treat all his wives fairly as possible. According to this commentary book, Polygamy in Islam is not just about the relation men and their wives, but also firmly related with the social aspect, that means, in some conditions, polygamy will be needed to be committed by the society. Despite in such points of its view of polygamy, this commentary book shows the gender justness, but in other points, this commentary book is seemingly showing the biased gender instead.
