Abstract

With wind turbines, wind energy can be converted into electrical energy. In general, wind turbines typically use 3 blades, wind turbine is one source of electricity providers. Influence the number of blades on the output power generated by wind turbines of type horizontal diameter of 1.6 meters in DC home projects. Abstract

Student Teams Achievment Division (STAD) is applied that students can work together and be responsible to their friends. The main idea of STAD is to motivate students in order to support and help each other to obtain the ability given by teachers. The application of STAD in the studies of physics is hoped that the motivation of students will increase so that the result of student‘s learning can be better. This action research consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research was done from September until November 2010 in MAN 15 Jakarta. The subject is 242 students in the class of XI IPA 1. The data is obtained from the observation and descriptively analyzed. The increase of learning study is obtained after the action for two times. The obtained score above KKM is reached by 79% students after cycle 1 and 100% in cycle 2. The data analyst at PTK shows that the increasing learning of students in mechanics subject is successful by applying STAD. Keywords : learning, STAD, mechanics, studies result.

Abstract

Education for All, istilah tersebut sering didengar dalam era pendidikan sekarang, yang berarti setiap anak berhak mendapatkan pendidikan yang dapat mengembangkan potensi dirinya. Pendidikan Inklusi merupakan pendidikan yang sedang dikembangkan oleh pemerintah, sehingga setiap anak yang memiliki keterbatasan dalam belajar (berkebutuhan khusus) perlu mendapatkan pendidikan yang bermutu sebagaimana anak-anak yang lain. Pendidikan inklusi bersifat terbuka terhadap perbedaan karakter peserta didik dan berupaya mengakomodasi setiap perbedaan tersebut dengan cara-cara yang tidak merugikan peserta didik lain. Bahkan, dalam pendidikan inklusi diharapkan perbedaan karakteristik siswa menjadi pembelajaran tersendiri dan bernilai manfaat bagi setiap peserta didik. Usaha saling memahami perbedaan antar peserta didik dan upaya untuk memperlakukan perbedaan antar peserta didik secara semestinya memberi nilai plus bagi pendidikan inklusi. Fisika merupakan pelajaran yang tidak banyak diminati oleh siswa, hal ini karena banyak faktor yang mempengaruhinya selain karena faktor karakteristik mata pelajaran yang tergolong sulit juga karena metode penyampaian guru yang membuat siswa tidak memahami dan bahkan menjadikan pelajaran fisika sebagai pelajaran yang tidak diminati. Jika untuk siswa non-Inklusi fisika adalah pelajaran yang sulit apalagi siswa yang jelas-jelas tergolong siswa Inklusi, oleh karena itu penerapan multiple intelligent (kecerdasan majemuk) dalam mengembangkan potensi siswa-siswa Inklusi yang sesuai dengan gaya belajarnya dapat meningkatkan keingintahuan dan membantu mereka dalam memahami pelajaran fisika dengan baik meskipun merekan belajar bersama-sama dengan siswa yang lain dalam ruang dan kondisi sama. Kata Kunci : Multiple Inteligent, Inklusi, Fisika.

Abstract

Computerization experiments of sound based on laptop soundcard have been carried out. Topics of the experiment consists of measuring speed of sound in air with time of flight methods, visualization and measurement of the frequency of the sound beats phenomenon, measurement of the frequency spectrum of sound color (timbre), and measurement of sound frequency changes on the Doppler effect. The software used in this experiment is Audacity and overtones. Viewing from the experimental results and processes it can be obtained that the measurement processes including visual phenomenon of sounds is easy to do, and the measurement results have a high accuracy. Abstract

Technical Physics is one of supporting courses in the Technical Faculty, Padang State University (FT UNP). Preliminary survey showed that students less master the concepts of physics, making it difficult to apply in the relevant expertise courses. Therefore carried out the learning of physics with interactive media. This research aims to know the effectiveness of interactive media in improving student mastery of physics concepts. The research conducted by quasi experimental using a pretest-posttest design with control group. The research subjects were students of Electrical Engineering Education Department that follow courses of Technical Physics 2, as many as 45 people. Data were collected by using observation format, test of physics concepts mastery, and questionnaire of student responses to the implementation of learning. The research results showed that learning of physics with interactive media are effective in improving the physics concepts mastery, in terms of: (1) improved mastery of physics concepts of student was average categories, (2) the average score of physics concepts mastery of the experimental class student is higher than the control class, (3) most of the experimental class students consider that the implementation of learning of physics with interactive media was good categories. Advice submitted to the lecturer of technical physics to be able to use interactive media in the Technical Physics course. Keywords: interactive media, the mastery of physics concepts.

Abstract

This research is underway to create a media that can be clearly illustrate the concepts of physics which hard to describe with words. In this study retrieved chapters of atomic nuclear and radioactivity. Media created is a computer-based media with a multimedia system, so that the subject are hard to describe in the abstract words can be illustrated by using animated or moving images. Multimedia system allows audio, and visual merging, as well as allow for interaction between students with computers that makes learning more meaningful. The study produced a learning program with a multimedia system that can be directly used by students or teachers as a tool in the learning process. The program is created using Adobe Flash animation software that is assisted by several other supporting software. Keywords: making, multimedia, atomic nuclear, radioactivity, physics.

Abstract

Physics is the science that is not easy for most students. Interesting learning physics is increasingly tried. The constructive method in learning helps for the development of the cooperative learning. The project learning is one of the learning models, which has the freedom from the constraint. The initiation needs some supporting factors. This learning has strengthens and weakness. It has been found the positive results from the learning, namely the main value. Abstract

"The development of comics as a medium of learning physics for high school students". Teaching and learning processes in schools using teaching materials. One of the teaching materials used in schools are generally in the form of text books. High school student interest in reading books on physics books category is still relatively low. It can be seen from the data analysis of needs in senior high school that held in January 2012 with results as much as 63.49% of respondents spend the time to read a physics book for only 1-2 hours in one week, as much as 23.80% of respondents spent time reading physics books within 34 hours for one week, as much as 12.69% of respondents spent time reading physics book in 5-7 hours and the rest 0% of respondents spent time reading physics book more than 10 hours in a week. Based on these data it is clear that students' interest in reading text books, especially textbooks of physics is very low and will impact negatively on the development of student achievement, especially inphysics. To overcome this problem, was made innovations in instructional media. One innovation is make comics. The development comics using the methods of research and development to the stage: analysis of needs, product development and trials of product. The quality of media according to media experts from the comic display design, typography comics, comic content design, language, content, plot and summary the average percentage of 80.22%. The quality of media according to the material experts aspect of the feasibility of content, language, and presentation the average percentage of 89.55%. The quality of media according to the teachers and students are also very good in the category with the average percentage of 82.66% and 83.75%. Based on this research, the instructional media in the form of comic physics on the subject of optical instruments can be used as an alternative learning media for X-class high school semester2. Abstract

This study aims to develop online learning media in the form of modules on the subject of kinematics motion straight. The research method used is the development of research methods (research and development) with a groove 1) analysis of needs, 2) making an online module 3) testing of the module by material experts and media experts 4) testing modules by teachers and students. The quality of media according to experts both from the media fascination with the module and the module content averages 72%. The quality of media according to experts from both the material aspect of the feasibility of content, language, and presentation by the average percentage of 79%. And quality of media according to the teachers and students also are in the category with the average percentage of 76% sequentially and 77%. Based on this research, the media online learning physics in the form of a web-based modules on the subject of a straight motion kinematics can be used as a medium of self-learning for vocational classes X semester 1 in accordance with the standards of competence, basic competence, and learning indicators. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk pengembangan berupa alat peraga gerak parabola menggunakan pelontar proyektil otomatis yang dapat digunakan oleh guru dan siswadalam proses pembelajaran fisika untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan berpikir ilmiah siswa dalam pembelajaran fisika pada materi gerak parabola kelas XI SMA. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Juli–Desember 2011 di Laboratorium Jurusan Fisika FMIPA-UNJ. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan (development research). Penelitian dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu (1) permasalahan guru dalam menyampaikan konsep gerak parabola dan penggunaan alat peraga sebagai upaya pemecahan masalah. (2) perancangan alat, (3) pembuatan alat peraga gerak parabola menggunakan pelontar otomatis, (4) uji fungsional dan karakteristik alat, (5) pengembangan desain alat peraga agar mudah diamati dengan bahan pelindung transparan, (6) validasi oleh tenaga ahli (dosen), guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian didapat informasi, hasil produk pengembangan alat peraga gerak parabola menggunakan pelontar proyektil otomatis memiliki masukan (input) kecepatan awal 1.0-5.0 m/s , sudut elevasi 0-900,jarak jangkauan maksimal mencapai tidak kurang dari 250 cm. Hasil validasi oleh ahli media mendapatkan interpretasi skor penilaian 90%. Kata kunci: alat peraga, gerak parabola, otomatis.
