Abstract

PKM activity carried out in Konawe Selatan District aims to introduce various flavors of fish floss to women fishingcommunity and also to improve the production process and business management. Fish is one of the sources of animal proteinthat is easy to consume, cheap and widely consumed by the public. However, because fish can quickly decompose and be easilyperishable, it is needed to process food in order to maintain quality and nutrition. Fish floss with various flavors (original, sweet,and spicy) is believed can diversify fishery products and elevate the economic value of fish which finally can elevate the familyincome. The method of approach used for this PKM is counseling methods and on-the-spot practice of making fish floss and thepackaging to the fisherwomen in Langgapulu village, Kolono district, South Konawe Regency. Moreover, the fisherwomen willbe taught about production and marketing management approach such as management problems of production, and marketingmanagement issues. These activities include theory and practice which includes: (1) extension or counseling of fish floss process;(2) packaging process of fish products, (3) Partnering or inviting media partner, and (4) financing advice. It is hoped that thewoman community in Langgapulu village has knowledge and skills about the micro-business especially fish floss business. Thefisherwomen also know about marketing networks, business media partner or promotion of fish floss products in the form ofbrochure/ leaflet, website, and social media which can help improve the economy of the household.

Abstract

The Community Partnership Program (PKM) partners are Sanggar Sikka Nyili Leworeng Village, Donri-donri District,Soppeng Regency. Two important issues, namely: 1) How is the method of finding ideas or ideas in the creation of Bugis folkloresongs ?; 2) What is the method for processing the creation of Bugis folklore songs? The author uses an approach to the creationof art and literature with the concepts of imitation, aesthetics, and expression. Creation is supported by language and musicelements, including vowels, words, rhythmic, melody, tempo, rhythm, and time. The process of creating folklore songs goesthrough several important stages, which include the stages of exploration, design, and realization. In this process also continuedthe introduction and deeper understanding of folklore singing. The results of the PKM creation of folklore songs, in the form ofsimple folklore songs whose basic ideas come from the form of children's play songs. Overall, the creation of this folklore songexplores the forms of children's play and becomes a work that has creative, unique and aesthetic power. The literary works of artcreated are entitled "Sala Garambang Lojo". This work will continue to be processed to obtain philosophical accuracy based onBugis culture and also be accepted by other cultures.

Abstract

The problem of the Community Partnership Program (PKM) is to: (1) Rainfed Farmer Groups (partners) do not knowabout the construction of upland rice planting tools that are water-efficient, practical, efficient, save time and energy, (2) Farmers'groups rain (partners) are not skilled at designing, forming a frame, making a frame, assembling the framework of theconstruction of rice planting tools that are water-efficient, practical, efficient, saving time and energy, (3) rainfed farming groups(partners) unskilled planting equipment operators upland rice models that are water efficient, practical, efficient, save time andenergy. Solutions for the Community Partnership Program (PKM) are: (1) Increasing the knowledge of rainfed farmer groups(partners) about the construction of upland rice planting tools that are water-efficient, practical, efficient, saving time and energy,(2) Improving the skills of farmer groups rainfed (partner) about designing, forming a frame, making a frame, assembling a framefor the construction of the gogo-style rice planting tool that is water saving, practical, efficient, saving time and energy, (3)Improving the skills of a rainfed farmer group (partner) about the operation of the tool planting upland rice models that are waterefficient, practical, efficient, save time and energy. The target audience is a rainfed farmer group (partners) who have difficultygrowing rice (the target audience is trained directly). The method used in the delivery of counseling material is the lecture,discussion and question and answer method, for the training used the demonstration method. The output targets to be achievedare as follows: (1) Rainfed farmer groups (partners) can find out about the construction of upland rice planting tools that arewater-efficient, practical, efficient, save time and energy, (2) Rainfed farmer groups ( partner) can skillfully design, form a frame,make a frame, assemble a framework for the construction of the rice planting equipment model that is water-efficient, practical,efficient, saving time and energy, (3) Rainfed farmers group (partners) can skillfully operate a model of rice planting equipmentgogo that saves water, is practical, efficient, saves time and energy.

Abstract

The aim of this activity is to train the students of English Education Study Program especially class C to write adescriptive essay through group work. The materials of this activity are the concepts of descriptive essay, parts of essay, makingan outline, writing a descriptive essay based on the outline, and giving correction and feedback towards the students’ writing. Theresults of this activity show that the students know and understand how to write a descriptive essay after making the outline ofthe essay although they are not used to writing a good essay and they still have lack of vocabulary. In addition, they becomefamiliar to work with their group to make the essay.

Abstract

Vocational school graduates are expected to work or be absorbed into the world of work after completing theireducation at the school level. Therefore, the objective of English learning in vocational schools is that students have the abilityand competence to use English as a tool of communication both orally and written that are needed in the world of work.However, vocational students in particular students of SMKN 6 Makassar do not have adequate English knowledge, vocabularyand skills that they can use in work, especially students in the Hospitality and Tourism majors. This community service aims toassist 50 students in the Hospitality and Tourism Classes of SMKN 6 Makassar to gain knowledge, vocabulary and practicalsentences of English. The method used is 3P namely Presentation, Practice and Production. The assistance activities in learningEnglish were carried out for approximately 3 months from July to September 2019. The output targets were students in theHospitality and Tourism Classes having knowledge, vocabulary and practical sentences of English related to hospitality andtourism.
