Abstract

This research is to see the effect of using local wisdom-based acid-base worksheets on student learning outcomes using a quantitative approach with the type of research research experiment. The design used was pretest-posttest control group design. Sampling using purposive sampling technique. The samples were students of class XI MIA 3 (control class) and students of class XI MIA 4 (experimental class) at SMAN 9 Banjarmasin. The calculation steps of the research use SPSS 22 for windows. The data processing technique used independent sample t-test to test the difference between pretest and posttest. The results of the analysis of the data obtained, independent sample t-test test showed that there was no difference between the SPSS pretest output of the control and experimental classes, the SPSS posttest output between the control and experimental classes was different. Test the hypothesis using the N-Gain score test. The results of the SPSS output test N-Gain score, the mean value of the control class is in the medium category, while the mean output of the experimental class shows the Gain score in the high category. The use of local wisdom based acid base worksheets in the experimental class has a high effect on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the STAD type cooperative learning model on physics learning outcomes of sound wave. This type of research is a literature study using various books and related scientific journals. STAD type cooperative learning model is able to increase student activity during the learning process. This is because students have the opportunity to discuss problems related to the subject matter taught with their groups, then present the results of their discussions, and evaluate their understanding by giving quizzes or questions on worksheets and individual tests. This indirectly leads to the fact that all these processes tend to make students more active in finding concepts and communicating. Therefore, the STAD type cooperative learning model is able to improve students' cognitive, psychomotor, and affective values better.

Abstract

The era of the industrial revolution 4.0 and society 5.0 has necessitated the use of technology in life. For academics, the use of technology is very dependent on laptops. The use of laptops for various purposes is increasing. However, the electromagnetic radiation emitted by laptops can harm the wearer. Reducing radiation on laptops can be pursued through the use of environmentally friendly renewable materials, such as spinach leaf bioscreen. This study aims to determine the effect of Amaranthus tricolor L red spinach leaves as an anti-radiation bioscreen on laptops. This study uses a pre-experimental method with a one group pre-test post-test design. The amount of electromagnetic radiation was measured using an electromagnetic radiation detector DT-1130. Data analysis used correlation test and simple linear regression test. The results of the Pearson product moment analysis obtained a correlation coefficient value of r = -0.999 which means that there is a very strong relationship between the increase in the number of spinach leaves and the decrease in laptop radiation. Regression test shows the amount of radiation (y) can be predicted from the number of leaves (x) with the equation y=1420,106–26,311x, meaning that an increase in the use of spinach leaves by 1cm2 will reduce radiation by 26,311µW. The results of this study indicate that spinach leaves have the potential as a bioscreen material in reducing exposure to electromagnetic radiation on laptops.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the ethnobotanical study of the citronella plant (Cymbopogon nardus (L.) Rendle) for the people of Batang Kulur Village, Kelumpang Barat District, and to describe the validity of the pocket book on the ethnobotany study of the citronella plant (Cymbopogon nardus (L.) Rendle) for the Batang village community. Kulur District of West Kelumpang. This research is a field research with a qualitative descriptive research approach. Sources of research data are respondents, informants, and the results of the documentation. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study were developed into a pocket book using R&D research with the Tessmer 1998 formative evaluation model. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the botanical study of citronella (Cymbopogon nardus (L.) Rendle) has perennial terna habitus, root system of short rhizomes, and single leaves that have a distinctive odor. Ethnosocioanthropology studies are used as complementary materials in traditional Banjar Betimung activities in the local community. Ethnoeconomic studies of citronella leaves are traded for the basic ingredients of producing essential oils for making massage oil. Ethnopharmacology studies processed traditional ingredients as a treatment for aches and pains. The ethnoecological study of citronella is very easy to plant by separating the saplings of the plant.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the understanding of the redox reaction material concept of each subconcept in class X students of MAN 3 Hulu Sungai Selatan. The type of research used is descriptive statistics with a quantitative approach. The population of this study was students of class X MAN 3 Hulu Sungai Selatan with samples of class X MIA 1 and 2 totaling 63 people. Sampling technique used is Purposive Sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out using a four-tier diagnostic test. The results showed that the understanding of the concept of redox material with an average of 31.25% with moderate criteria. Understand the concept of redox reactions based on the binding and release of oxygen by 42.06%, redox reactions based on the attachment and loss of electrons by 26.98%, redox reactions based on increasing and decreasing oxidation numbers by 25.40%, determining the oxidation number of 58, 73%, oxidation-reduction reactions of 26.98%, oxidizing and reducing agents of 24.34%, and the application of redox reactions of 14.29%. Understanding the biggest concept is in the sub-concept of determining the oxidation number.
