Abstract

Promoting fungi as food is necessary, especially for the community in Papua. Papua has abundant natural resources, including fungi diversity that can be consumed. Cultivation and propagation of mushrooms is not yet known because of limited knowledge. The purpose of this activity is to provide learning for the community about the cultivation and processing of various white oyster fungi products (Pleurotus ostreatus) for the Isyo Hills ecotourism group in the Rhepang Muaif Village, Nimbokrang District, Jayapura Regency. The results of the activity showed that there was an increase in public knowledge in the use of white oyster fungi in the cultivation and processing of foodstuffs from fungi. As much as 95.5% of people have heard and seen the fungi consumed by the community, even 9.1% have consumed fungi which are sold in modern stores (supermarkets). Nevertheless, 100% of the people do not know how to cultivate fungi, including P. ostreatus. In fact, of the 12 fungi processing participants were known to be able to create a variety of food ingredients which are made from white oyster fungi. Keywords: food ingredients, cultivation, Oyster fungi, utilization, Rhepang Muaif

Abstract

One approach to teachers use were to develop students were creativity the process of science skills. The purpose of KPS themselves approach to train students to think independent, Their backs on this scientific and skilled in work on those problems and is feasible to be invented the concept of play an independent. Some of research shows that many students crisis scientific ability demonstrated by the scientific low performance students are low mastery (KPS) where students are not used to observe activities, classifying, interpreting, proposed hypothesis, using tools and materials, experiment, and other activities that uses scientific method. The purpose of devotion it is 1) to provide information on how to operate a measuring instrument in learning physics senior high school 6 Skouw Jayapura, and 2) train students in is using a measuring instrument so that it can be improved the skills of the process of the basic science in their senior high school 6 Skouw Jayapura. Facets devotion this is done through the training to train students use the gauge in learning physics to improve the ability to the basic science. The achievement of this target from the activities of devotion , satisfactory results or benefit to students in learning high school physics 6 skouw in terms of land : (1) provided information about how to use the gauge in experiments simple, (2) upgrading skill process of basic science in learning physics. Keywords: Jayapura, Measuring Tool, The Science Skills

Abstract

Learning process in early grades should be focused on strengthening the competence of leaning, writing, and numeracy (further mentioned as calistung) as a basis to learn other knowledges in higher grades. The learning process in elementary is thematic based so the material of reading, writing and numeracy can be taught in integrated way. This integrated way of calistung requires a right learning media. Therefore, a training of media making for this particular way of learning is given to the seventh semester students of STPAK (Christian Teaching Collage) St. Yohanes Rasul Waena. The goals of this training is to improve the abilities and skills of trainees to make and use a simple media in this particular way of learning in grade 1 to 3. This training is design by following the PAKEM model, supported by the inquiry method, as long as the brainstorming technic, guided training, demonstration and simulation. The results of this training showed that there was an increasing the ability of media making as 56,25%. Also, this training emerged the creativity of trainees in media making based in Papuan Culture with the name “pinojek hitung” (numeracy learning based in the selling process Papuan local fruit ‘pinang’). Keywords: training, calistung media, inquiry, pinojek hitung

Abstract

A mixture of nine spices consisting of nutmeg, ginger, cumin, pandanus, lemongrass, cinnamon, cloves, bay leaves and white turmeric is one of the innovations in the use of plants which are commonly used as cooking spices processed into herbs for traditional medicine. Previous studies reported that nine spices tea has the properties and benefits of lowering blood sugar levels for patients with Type II diabetes and able to reduce blood pressure for high blood pressure (hypertension). To inform the community of the benefits of nine spices tea to be used as a health drink for families, socialization and practice of the Nine Spices tea making have been carried out for housewives gathered of GKI Bethesda Maribu. Maribu village, located in Sentani Barat District, was chosen as the location of the socialization because, based on interviews and health data, there were cases of diabetes and hypertension that had been reported. The result obtained from this activity is that there has been a transfer of knowledge about processing spices into traditional medicine. The community testified that making nine spices tea and consume it at home benefit for their health.Keywords: Maribu, Testimoni, traditional medicine

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has a wealth of flora number two in the world after Brazil and is believed to have a variety of plants tha can be used as medicine.The use of herbs fo treatment, especially the use of medicines that have been integrated into formal health services in Indonesia is still low compared to some other Asian countries.  Papuan medicinal plants have superior characteristic that are different from other provinces in Indonesia. The usage of potential natural products as medicines for Papuan communities are selected by a good  understanding of herbal medicine. The potential of biological acticity from  natural resources provides a great opportunity to developing this program. In this case, the activities of the Community Engagement activities with the title Development of "PROTAP" (Products of Medicinal Plants of Papua) for the community in Tobati-Enggros Village of Jayapura City; first introducing the potential for development of traditional medicine; secondly practicing the manufacture of PROTAP (products from the Papuan Native Medicinal Plant) and positively impacting the economic development of communities in the utilization of local Papuan products; the third produces an output in the form of local and national community engagement journals. The methods used in the implementation of this activity are lectures, simulations or demonstrations as well as the direct practice of manufacturing products from indigenous plant drugs Papua. The conclusion that tarticipants are very enthusiastic to follow the activity of service and can know the development program of PROTAP, Based on the evaluation result indicates that the participants have satisfaction level is high when viewed from percentage of all aspect.Keywords: PROTAP, Economy, Community, Tobati-Enggros

Abstract

The  activities of this community service were gaven training to the teachers at SDN Inpres Perumnas I Waena. The aimed of this training were to provide the teachers with the ability to : 1) understand MMP methode; 2) create a curriculum based on local knowledge; 3) innovate variety of learning media; 4) construct evaluation tools; 5) construct RPP and 5) conduct real teaching. CBSA method with complex approach such as lecturer, questions and answer session, task response, discussion and teaching, practice has been used on this training. Abstract

Devotion this was done in the title of the application of IPTEKS the act number 20 year 2001 on corruption eradication that was done on tuesday on 11 july 2017 in the vicinity of the candidates and the member of a Party City Hanura Jayapura and on wednesday, on 12 july 2017 who held at the candidates and the member of a Party District Keerom Hanura. Activity is done due to lack of understanding about the importance of conducting corruption eradication for candidates and party members in the neighborhood hanura party because of the ignorance the council of representatives and prospective members of representatives particularly dilingkungan hanura party leadership council branches and the city of jayapura leadership council district branch keerom have understanding for better and can take the lesson from from cases of corruption that has happened and can do prevention at a later date so that corruption not continue to grow and become culture particularly in papua province. Output from devotion this is steps and for better understanding is good about the law no.20 in 2011 on corruption eradication for the and members of representatives especially in hanura party leader council Jayapura the city and the board head branch of Keerom District. Keywords : Crimes, Corruption, Eradication
