Abstract

Babies are children with an age range of 0-12 months. Infancy is the first period of critical life. During infancy, children will adapt to the environment, changes in blood circulation, and body organs begin to work. From the observation process of identifying physiotherapy problems in infants by lecturers and students of D-III Department of Physiotherapy, Faculty of Health, Pekalongan University conducted by interviewing Posyandu cadres, it was found that the most common problems experienced by toddlers was a decrease in appetite in toddlers. Situation analysis in the form of observations made by the whole team in the environment of activities in Posyandu Balita Seruni XII Poncol, Pekalongan City was in form of interviews to Posyandu cadres. The process of observing the identification of physiotherapy problems in toddlers used an assessment method. The purpose of this activity was to increase the knowledge and understanding of cadres and parents about the role of physiotherapy in toddlers, especially in increasing appetite in children. The solution offered by the team was to use the counseling and training methods to improve appetite in toddlers with baby massage and neurostructure techniques. The implementations of counseling and training activities were attended by seventeen toddlers accompanied by their mothers. Before counseling and training process, the toddlers’ mothers were given a pre-test and post-test that became a benchmark for toddlers’ mothers understanding about counseling and training conducted. The results of the pre-test and post-test proved that the level of understanding of mothers under five increased after being given counseling and training in physiotherapy. It can be concluded that after being given counseling and physiotherapy training, the level of toddlers’ mothers understanding in increasing the appetite of infants was increased.

Abstract

Writing articles on mass media for missionary activists is a very important and strategic activity to be able to communicate the results of thoughts, ideas, alignments, attitudes, solutions, and the like to the wider community. The aim of community service to write this article is to improve the ability to write articles for the preaching activist Persyarikatan Aisyiyah in the Pekalongan Residency. There are 5 stages of activity in this article writing workshop, namely (1) Brainstorming, (2) Clustering (grouping of materials), (3) Jotting (rough writing), (4) Rewriting (re-writing), and (5) Finishing (final settlement). Based on the evaluation of the implementation of community service activities, it appears that there has been an increase in the ability to write articles through workshops. This can be seen from the enthusiasm of the participants during the training activities and the results of the writing process that occurred during this dedication which showed an increase in the ability to write articles for Aisyiyah mothers in the Pekalongan Residency.Keywords: article, community service, Aisyiyah

Abstract

The cooperative law has emphasized that cooperatives need to develop themselves more and be built to be strong and independent based on cooperative principles so that they can play a role as pillars of the national economy. Prioritizing the principle of kinship on the basis of social and economic principles needs attention by the cooperative manager. In line with this, good risk management can be carried out to minimize losses that may occur from the business being run. Based on this the Batang Regency Industry, Trade, Cooperatives and SMEs Office carries out the Bintek Development, Supervision and Recognition of Cooperative Achievement activities to be able to improve the performance of cooperatives in Batang Regency. The participants of the activity are the management of cooperatives and offices related to the method of presentation and discussion of questions and answers. The results of the activity show that the enthusiasm of cooperative managers in participating in these activities is very high, in theory they already know the importance of risk management so that the problem that arises is the implementation at the policy level of each cooperative.Keywords: Risk Management, Coaching, Supervision, Performance, Cooperatives

Abstract

The aim of this community service is to change the parents’ mindset in giving the parenting way toward their children especially in education in order that the children can get further education for their future life. I conducted this community service in two ways; by giving counseling to 35 families in the village meeting hall of Kasimpar, Petung Kriyono sub-district, Pekalongan City. I also gave accompaniment system for five families for further process. The result of this activity shows that I managed to change the families’ especially parents’ mindset about the way to educate their children so that they can be motivated to continue their higher education. I also found the parents’ new mindset in educating and supervising their children democratically to keep studying. It can be concluded that all of the samples in this case are parents are able to change their mindsets in how important education is for their children. Key words: families, parenting, children education

Abstract

Abstract

Managerial guidance for operating “Wirausaha “Aisyiyah School”(SWA), for making professionality in SWA and build good coordination between all organisation structure.  SWA build for helping to the poor people and using commitment in productive sector in economy as well as to get economic stabilisation for woman. SWA in Kabupaten Pekalongan was the first SWA ever build in Central Java Province.  Almost 3 years the head of Aisyiyah  branch pekalongan did not have commitment to gain SWA program, advantage and responsibility. The output target  from this activity is to reform and to manage SWA in operation concept to become more professional which guidance with 4 management function consist of: planning, organizing, moving, supervising. We have using purposing discuss and workshop methodz. From this two in front, will be using for making reconstruction in SWA guidance which covering organisation structure in regional branch to do their job as well as on all procedure. Beside it, MEKPDA will give mentoring toruling the coordination in order with PCA under consideration with SWA.

Abstract

Counseling and Physiotherapy Training with Balance, Respiratory Exercise to Improve Functional Activities in the Elderly in Posyandu Handayani Tondano Health Center in East Pekalongan District Pekalongan City was attended by posyandu cadres, physiotherapists, and the main target is the elderly Posyandu Handayani in Puskermas Tondano Timur Pekalongan District Pekalongan City was attended by posyandu cadres, physiotherapists, and the main target is the elderly Posyandu Handayani in Puskermas Tondano Timur Pekalongan District Pekalongan City. Posyandu Handayani consists of 7 posts, each post consists of approximately 70 elderly with an age range of 50 years and over. Most of the elderly posyandu handayani members are women, half of them are still productive and others are not able to perform functional activities to the full. The majority of posyandu handayani members come from the lower middle class with low education levels. From the observation of the identification of physiotherapy problems in the elderly carried out by 6th semester students and lecturers of Study Program D III Physiotherapy, Faculty of Health, Pekalongan University, it was found that the elderly at Posyandu Handayani in Puskermas Tondano with poor balance conditions, when walking away the elderly experience their breathing wheezing. and the daily activities of the elderly tend to make the wrong moves. The solution offered to solve the problem is to use a situation analysis method in the form of observation with a physiotherapy assessment method. Participants who attended counseling and training as many as 40 people, 20 of whom experienced impaired balance and breathing. From the results of the pre-test and post conducted before and after counseling and training there are significant results about the knowledge of the elderly will increase functional activity with breathing and balance training methods.Keywords: Elderly, balance training, breathing exercises, functional activities

Abstract

Nursing higher education is a professional education that requires clinical learning as real experiences to learn about professionalism. Good clinical learning is supported by competent preceptor whom can be role as a role model. Therefore, clinical learning model training has needed to designs clinical guidance activities based on the cooperative and collaborative relationship development between the preceptor and students.
