Abstract

The present study scrutinizes Bintu Syati’s interpretation towards verses in Al-Qur’an concerning the concept of human and its interpretation method. This study employs a qualitative study through library data by using content analysis. The findings indicate that Bintu Syati relies on the method of hermeneutic interpretation by considering Al-Qur’an as a literary work as it speaks in each verses itself. The conclusion has been reached in line with the concept of human proposed by Bintu Syati’s interpretation method towards several verses concerning human. It can be inferred that what separates humans from other beings is the potential of al-Bayan where it is a way of expressing and explaining what is inside the heart, thinking and learning therefore humans have the right to become caliphs

Abstract

Semiotics is a science that studies the signs and markers, but in studying semiotics we are introduced by several figures who have extensive knowledge, one of whom is Charles Sunder Peirce, an American philosopher, who has very original thoughts among other philosophers, but Peirce has a theory that is so famous with the name triangle theory or often called the triadic theory. This theory is usually used in interpreting a sign that is anywhere. But in this study researchers used Peirce's theory in the Hadith. Where in the Hadith there are also many words and signs that are the same as in the Qur'an. Researchers take the Sahih Muslim Hadith Number 2240 which discusses the blow as a sign and has a meaningful reward.

Abstract

Al-Qur’an, seen from different aspect of it, provides guidance and insight to its believers as their ways of life. In addition, the Al-Qur’an indeed does not merely emerge just like that. Therefore, the studies regarding Al-Qur’an is compulsory to provide an in-depth understanding and insights about it. One aspect of the Al-Qur’an is a story revealed either implicitly where the story indirectly affects the Al-Qur’an revelation or explicitly. One of the stories that is closely related to the verse in the Al-Qur’an is the story of “Women Who Prosecuted”. Khaulah binti Tsa’labah and the Prophet Muhammad play prominent role in this story prescribed in the Al-Qur’an. From this story, many interpretations occur when comprehensive readings are initiated. One of the relevant frameworks to read this story is the theory of ‘structuralism-narrative’ proposed by a linguist, A.J, Greimas. By using ‘structuralism-narrative’ theory proposed by Greimas, the story of Khaulah bint Tsa’labah will be examined comprehensively with a chronological plot to make the reading more precise. Moreover, two meaning namely physical structure meaning and inner structure meaning can be realized by using the framework of Greimas, precisely ‘structuralism-narrative’. Thus, this study aims to investigate the story of Khaulah binti Tsa’labah, seen as the nature of the verse in Surah Al-Mujadilah, by using the framework of ‘structuralism-narrative’ proposed by A.J. Greimas

Abstract

Begins the discourse this time, we invite all of us to return flash-back or look back at the history of strategic functions than the Mosque. That as a noble place and full of blessings as well as the pride of Muslims especially in the modern era as it is today, it is appropriate in the context of da'wah as well as strengthening aqidah Islamiyah, the function of the Mosque should be put as a center of activity and development of the quality of Muslims. Mosque is not only a place of worship (mahdhoh) such as prayer and other routine personal activities but more than that, the Mosque is supposed to be a strategic place to make people more longing to get closer to God and people also long to visit the Mosque. Therefore, the Mosque or in this case the DKM Board must have bargaining, creativity and innovation. Both in terms of idarotul-mosques, mosques to riayatul-mosques in the form of work programs; The numerator.

Abstract

The research we conducted was motivated by the existence of two disagreements between Jamaahs of the Al-Hidayah mosque in Sukamukti Village, Cikijing District, Majalengka Regency in responding to the circular letter of the Regent of Majalengka Number 400/646/Kesra regarding the Guidelines for Romadhon worship and Eid al-Fitr whether to follow the government's recommendation that said that during the Covid-19 pandemic all routine worship activities that are usually carried out in mosques such as congregational prayers, routine recitations, Friday prayers, tarawih prayers and Eid prayers are carried out at home or are the calls of religious leaders inviting their congregation to continue carrying out routine worship as usual at mosque. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Namely by utilizing qualitative data obtained from interviews with religious leaders, representatives of the village government and congregations of mosques. From the results of the research, it turns out that the congregation of the Jami Al Hidayah mosque prefers to follow the recommendations of religious leaders than to follow the recommendations of the Regent of Majalengka. From this the author knows that in fact the religious leaders are more obeyed than those in the government sector

Abstract

The development of mosque congregations in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic is a challenge for the mosque prosperity council (DKM). Empowerment in terms of health, the economy is very important, especially since the arrival of the corona virus has crippled the economy of the Indonesian people and clearly has a major impact on the religious sector, especially in mosques. The purpose of this research is to find out how the empowerment of mosque congregations in dealing with the impact of Covid 19. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method that seeks to describe a social phenomenon. In other words, this study aims to provide complete information so that it is beneficial for the development of science and can be applied more to various problems. In addition, the empowerment of the Al-Ihya mosque congregation in dealing with Covid-19 which is adjusted to the stages of qualitative research which is divided into three fields, namely, empowerment in the health, economy and religion sectors. So that with this empowerment program carried out by DKM Al-Ihya it is expected to provide mutual comfort.

Abstract

The Covid 19 pandemic that emerged in mid-2019 has forced people to change their mindset and lifestyle to pay more attention to health aspects with the aim of breaking the chain of the spread of Covid 19. The real impact of the Covid 19 pandemic is also very visible in the aspect of mosques as a means of worship for Muslims. The elements of the mosque which consist of Idarah, Imarah and Riayah, one of which is related to management, after the Covid 19 pandemic, many of which are oriented towards health as the main consideration. Mosque management includes: first, physical management which focuses on the physical management of the mosque, second, fuction management which focuses on mosque functions. Various styles of mosques in Indonesia have implemented their respective management, including the Al-Istiqomah Mosque which is located in the Muncangela Village area, Cipicung District, Kuningan Regency, West Java Province. Because this mosque was established under the auspices of the Religious Organization of Persis (Persatuan Islam), this mosque has a distinctive management style in dealing with the Covid 19 pandemic as developed by Persis.
