Abstract

Currently, many business people take advantage of technological developments as a medium in the process of buying and selling, advertising, and disseminating information that can support progress in the business being run. Business design using technology (e-business) must pay attention to several important factors so that business systems can be realized in accordance with company goals. SWOT analysis is the most important analysis that must be considered in every business because this analysis will provide several points based on internal factors, namely strengths and weaknesses and external factors, namely opportunities and threats both from within and outside the company. Following up on the SWOT analysis, it would be better for companies/business actors to be able to analyze PEST which will explain how important political, economic, social, and technological factors are for a company. To be able to realize the solution from the previous analysis, we took the initiative to build a website using WordPress as the website builder. WordPress comes with open source and free properties that can be utilized by business people, especially MSMEs which are the object of our research. The application of e-business in the form of a WordPress website is expected to be able to keep up with the times and can provide benefits for related MSMEs. Keywords: E-Business, MSMEs, SWOT, PEST

Abstract

Es Teler and Es Pisang Ijo are Indonesian food products in the form of ice snacks which are widely consumed by the public. These snacks are usually sold on the roadside. Mr. Leman, is one of the small-scale business actors who sell Es Teler and Es Pisang Ijo in Sorong City, Southwest Papua, to make ends meet. The problem faced by Mr. Leman in selling Es products is how to determine the optimal amount of Es Teler and Es Pisang Ijo sales production, so that maximum sales profits are obtained. This problem can be solved using the Simplex Method which is a part of Linear Programming (PL) and utilizing Information Technology, namely the POM-QM for Windows software to make the calculation process efficient. The method used in data collection is by interview and observation. The results of the analysis show that manual calculations using the simplex method and PL applications using the POM-QM for Windows software in optimizing sales obtain the same maximum profit, IDR 566,667 per day's production.

Abstract

Currently the existence of the internet has an impact on community interaction, social life, communication and culture. The internet connects many devices, one of which is lights. The lamp is a life support tool that plays an important role as a substitute for sunlight. Currently, the use of lamps in society is considered less effective and the use of lamps is often neglected. Often found lights that are on but not used (wasteful). On the other hand, the process of turning off and turning on the lights manually is very inconvenient, so it is a waste of time. Therefore, a lamp control system and a system that can monitor the use of lamps are made more effectively and efficiently using the Internet of Things (IoT). The Internet of Things is defined as the interconnection of embedded computing devices, and this interconnection is identified by the existence of the Internet infrastructure. With this system, it is expected to be able to overcome problems in knowing the conditions and controlling lights remotely using Nodemcu Esp8266 and Thingspeak Via Internet-Based Website. In this study, researchers used Experiments as a research method and SDLC as a method of developing Internet of Things (IoT) devices. The result of this research is a website-based light control system (LED) using NodeMCU ESP8266, Thingspeak, and Arduino IDE.

Abstract

Gundul Art is one of shop selling various kinds of copper and brass handicrafts in Cepogo, Boyolali. So far, the media for conveying information used by Gundul Art is still very simple, namely only through Instagram, so that marketing of products and services is felt to be less than optimal. The transaction system on Gundul Art itself is also still manual, where you use email to find out the model, price and size of the craft being made, and then the order must also come directly to the craftsman, so it is very inefficient. Based on the background above, a web-based copper and brass sales information system was created for Gundul Art Boyolali. It is hoped that this system will make transactions and marketing at Gundul Art more effective and efficient. Furthermore, the system that has been created with SWOT analysis will also be analyzed to avoid mistakes in carrying out company operations in utilizing the newly created website. Where SWOT analysis is a planning technique in evaluating strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in a company. The result of this research is a web-based copper and brass sales information system for Gundul Art Boyolali, where with the existing system, the marketing of Gundul Art is expanding. In addition, from the SWOT analysis, it was found that internally Gundul Art's strengths are greater than its weaknesses, while externally the opportunities are greater than the threats. Apart from that, the SWOT analysis also resulted in an IFAS-EFAS value in quadrant I, namely the application of an aggressive strategy, where the implementation of this strategy was to increase promotional media, increase production capacity as stock and rely on product quality with new innovations.
