Abstract

This study aims to examine and to analyze the influence of workload and job burnout to employee performance with organizational commitment as mediation variable (Case Study At PT PLN (Persero) ULPLTD/G Trisakti UPDK Barito). In addition, this study also examined the effect of workload to employee performance with organizational commitment as mediation and the effect of job burnout to employee performance with organizational commitment as mediation. The study was carried out using a sample of 42 PT. PLN (Persero) ULPLTD/G Trisakti UPDK Barito staffs as respondents. The data analysis technique used is path analysis and used PLS (Partial Least Square) to test the hypothesis. The result of this study suggest that workload has a significant effect to employee performance directly or mediated by organizational commitment, organizational commitment has a significant effect on employee performance, and job burnout has a significant effect to employee performance directly or mediated by organizational commitment.

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the relationship between empowering leadership and organizational citizenship behavior of employees at Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Kerinci through employee engagement. The three variables were constructed and observed the relationship among them. This research utilized quantitative research method using data collection method in the form of a questionnaire then analyzed with Partial Least Square (PLS). The analyzing steps conducted through finding the inner model, outer model and hypothesis testing. The results showed that there were relationships among these three variables. It was found that there was a positive relationship between empowering leadership toward organizational citizenship behavior, empowering leadership toward employee engagement, organizational citizenship behavior toward employee engagement, and empowering leadership toward organizational citizenship behavior through employee engagement. Therefore, it can be concluded that empowering leadership influenced the formation of organizational citizenship behavior and employee engagement of employees at Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Kerinci.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of Islamic work ethics on perceptions of fraud. This research has an important meaning because it was conducted directly on the government auditors at the Inspectorate of South Kalimantan Province. The questionnaire instrument was used in data collection with the research sample being auditors at the Inspectorate, especially those who were Muslim. Samples were taken as many as 100 respondents for analysis. Linear regression analysis was used to prove the hypothesis. The results showed that Islamic work ethics can influence the perception of fraud in a positive direction

Abstract

In 2015, Indonesia entered a new economic era in the Southeast Asian Region, namely the introduction to the Asean Economic Community (AEC). The role of the creative industry that is so large and significant must be maintained to be able to compete in the implementation of the AEC. This study aims to identify and recommend strategies for the creative and leading industries of North Sulawesi Province to improve competitiveness in the face of the AEC. To formulate alternative strategies to increase industrial competitiveness using SWOT analysis. Some creative industry players become informants through in-depth interviews. The list of questions consists of two parts. The first part deals with historical information on the establishment of a business. The second part is 26 question items that refer to the Diamond Model (DM). The results of the SWOT analysis, the pottery industry and the stage home industry are in quadrant I. It means that the company is implementing an SO strategy. The SO strategy is to utilize the company's internal strengths to attract external profits. In general, organizations will implement WO, ST or WT strategies to achieve situations where they can implement SO strategies. The existence of the ASEAN free market is a threat and also an opportunity that must be exploited. Human resources are a major factor in the creative industry. The results found a crisis of skilled and professional labor in the pottery industry and stilt houses. Most of the existing workforce is self-taught because it is a hereditary industry. Specifically for the stage home industry, attention needs to be paid to the continuity of wood raw materials and the licensing is simplified.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify the risk management process and the sources of risk, to assess the risks that may arise and to analyze the strategies that will be carried out by MSMEs in dealing with or managing these risks in the city of Banjarmasin. This research was conducted in accordance with the risk management process (ISO 31000:2018), namely risk identification, risk analysis, risk evaluation and risk treatment. The population of this research is all MSME business actors in Banjarmasin City. Based on this population, a stratified random sampling method was used for the sampling method of MSME business actors. This is done to reduce the error rate. The use of this sampling method is because the MSMEs that are the research subjects are MSMEs with different types of businesses and occupying different geographical locations. According to Roscoe (1975) quoted by Uma Sekaran (2006). To obtain good results, the number of samples is between 30 and 500. So the number of samples used in this study is 30 SMEs. Home industry products of Tanggui, Crackers and Sasirangan in Banjarmasin City. The results of the identification and risk analysis show that there are 6 main risks faced by MSMEs. The research data are: (1) Capital Risk: (a) lack of capital, and (b) difficulties in accessing capital and capital assistance from banks. (2) HR risk: (a) lack of experts in the production process, (b) lack of training from related parties, and (c) conventional financial management. (3) The risk of raw materials: (a) The price of raw materials continues to rise (expensive), and (b) the durability of raw materials is not long. (4) Process/Operational Risks: (1) limited supply of raw materials, (b) lack of development innovation, and (c) limited expertise in certain production processes. (5) The risk of equipment/machinery: (a) the machine used is not optimal, and (b) the technology used is generally manual.

Abstract

This research aims to find out and analyze the influence of Perceived Organizational Support on Organizational Citizenship Behavioral, the effect of Perceived Organizational Support on Employee Engagement, and influence of Employee Engagement on Organizational Citizenship Behavioral of emplooyee at Ukhuwah Foundation Banjarmasin. This research is a quantitative research with an inferential statistics approach. This researcher used questionnaires with 167 respondens as the samples from 287 emplooyees using a simple random sampling technique. The measurement of variables used the Likert Scale technique with a weight scale from 1 of 5. The data analysis was used Partial Least Square (PLS). The result of this research indicated that (i) there was a significant positive influence of Perceived Organizational Support on Organizational Citizenship Behavioral, (ii) there was a significant positive influence of Perceived Organizational Support on Employee Engagement, (iii) there was a significant positive influence of Employee Engagement on Organizational Citizenship Behavioral, and (iv) Employee Engagament has partially mediated the influence of Perceived Organizational Support on Organizational Citizenship Behavioral

Abstract

Wearables technology as a smart complement tobe one of essensial delivery information, function of daily use and healthcare, specially during the COVID 19 pandemic are presented. People have to control their health and do the activities to rise body imunity. Wearables systems significantly reduce the risk of infectious disease transmission. This study aims to comprehensively examine the adoption of wearable technology. A new model VAM (Value-based Adoption Model) combining value and TAM (Technical Acceptance Model) was developed and analyse with a set of variables benefit and sacrefice. Variables benefit consist of usefulness and enjoyment: variables sacrefice consist of technically fee and perceived fee for the wearable technology devices. Using questionaire and using Structural Equation Model analys 262 respondents age between 17-60 years old, many kinds of profesion and knows about wearable technology and using internet. The result shows that Perceived value was affected by perceived usefulness, perceived enjoyment and Technically, but it’s not significance affacted by perceived fee. This study holds considerable significance as it proposes a new approach to IoT (Internet of Things)-based wearable technology adoption using VAM and TAM. Through these model, the study determined that it is imperative for businesses to constitute and secure appropriate the product for people to use IoT-based wearable technology to reduce Covid 19 risk.
