Abstract

Educational area has a characteristic educational function that supports the improvement of knowledge, physical, and morals so that students can achieve their highest goals and ideals. The Educational Area of Majalengka Regency is the border point of 3 villages and 1 kelurahan, namely Panyingkiran Village, Jatipamor Village, Jatisawit Village, and Majalengka Village, and the border of 3 sub-districts namely Panyingkiran District, Kasokandel District, and Majalengka District. The Majalengka Regency Education Area, which is planned to use the healthy learning landscape concept, needs to be analyzed for the suitability of the land and whether the supporting activities can support the main educational activities. The purpose of this study is to analyze the suitability of the land around the construction site of the Politeknik Manufaktur Campus so that the area supporting educational activities there is in accordance with the carrying capacity and capacity of the land. The land suitability analysis used is an overlay analysis using the weighting point method. The result is that there are 4 suitability classes, which are not in accordance with the results of score 2 covering an area of 30.4 ha (39.01% of the total area), then quite in accordance with the results of score 3 covering an area of 25.38 ha (32.57% of the total area). , then in accordance with the results of score 4 covering an area of 20.03 ha (25.70% of the total area) and very much in accordance with the results of score 5 covering an area of 2.12 ha (2.72% of the total area).

Abstract

The density of urban areas due to population growth causes the emergence of slum settlements. This condition is often found in settlements located on the river border of DKI Jakarta Province, especially Manggarai Village. The existence of this residential land has an impact on changing the proportion of land cover, thereby reducing the water catchment area. This study applies the sponge city concept which has been adapted to the needs of the study area. Methods of collecting data were interviews, observations, and secondary data acquisition. The method of analysis is carried out by comparing the criteria for the three elements of the plan, namely (a) Green Neighborhood (b) Permeable Road (c) Utility to existing conditions using the gap analysis method to produce recommendations. This study was conducted by designing a slum area to solve the flood problem. Some recommendations that can be made include: (1) Adding water catchment areas; (2) Structuring the built-up area by providing vertical residential buildings; (3) Application of road construction with environmentally friendly materials and high water absorption capacity, such as permeable paving blocks; (4) Provision of rainwater runoff management facilities such as infiltration wells, bioswales, and retention ponds.

Abstract

The pandemic causes the need for new jobs. Most workers from rural areas experienced many layoffs due to the significant reduction in employment opportunities. One of the jobs that can be an option to accommodate these workers is the tourism sector. With community-based tourism, local workers can be absorbed by areas with natural tourism potential. The challenge faced by prospective tourist objects is how significant the potential of the tourism object is and how much the tariff will be set. This study aims to find the economic potential of the object of research used by the micro tourism manager in determining the rates or price ranges used in the sale of culinary or other goods/services. This study uses environmental valuation with the Travel Cost Method to calculate several potential economic objects to be used as the basis for investors to invest in research objects. In addition, managers can also use the average willingness to pay (WTP) as the basis for entrance fees, parking, and culinary prices offered. Considering visitors' preferences is a tourist attraction that looks free; the WTP value for the entrance fee is IDR 0. This study concludes that without managing micro-tourism objects, the value is IDR 63.129.290.00 to IDR71.835.382,00, while if it is managed, the potential increases to IDR5.752.023.104,00. The recommended culinary price is no more than IDR12.084,00, while the parking fee can be collected at IDR 1.000,00.

Abstract

In the management of the regional geospatial information network, evaluation needs to be carried out as a continuous improvement effort. The assessment focuses on both internal and external aspects in the process of geospatial information management. The purpose of this study is to determine the readiness of the development of the geoportal, the availability of data and human resources in Gresik District, as well as to identify the strengths and weaknesses. The method used in this research is descriptive analytic method, which identifies, evaluates, and assesses each instrument through data scanning and interviews. The results of this study show that the Gresik District Geospatial and Geodetic Network Node has achieved an "Operational" status, compared to before when it did not exist. Gresik District is now joined by 38 other districts/cities with an "Operational" status. The evaluation value falls into class B, which means the maximum development time is 12 months. In addition to the availability of the geoportal, Gresik District also has a data forum, but there is no Spatial Data Forum, so in the future the need for this forum becomes very important to support the improvement of the network node in Gresik District.

Abstract

Estuaries are areas with a high risk of contamination caused by heavy metal accumulation, namely nickel (Ni), cadmium (Cd), lead (Pb), and mercury (Hg). The contamination usually comes from anthropogenic activities, such as household chores, shipping, and industrial activities. One of the water areas located around the estuary area is the sea waters on Pasaran Island. This area is known as one of the centers for producing salted fish in Lampung Province, Indonesia. The area also catches and cultivates seafood, such as fish and shellfish. This study aims to analyze the level of pollution of heavy metals, namely Ni, Cd, Pb, and Hg in surface sediments at the seabed of Pasaran Island. The research design is a descriptive quantitative method by assessing the Geoaccumulation Index (Igeo) to analyze the contamination levels. The results showed that the surface sediments on the seabed of Pasaran Island had no indications of Ni, Cd, and Hg contamination. However, the Igeo calculation results indicated Pb contamination with levels of heavy to very heavy pollution.
