Abstract

This studyiaims to determini the effectiof the combination of fermented tufo dregs and rice bram on the growth of silkwormibiomass. This researchiwas conductedifrom May to Julyi2022. Theimethod used was am experimental method with a completelyirandomized designi(CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The treatmentsiin this studyiwere reatment A (Control), B (Combination of 50% tufo dregs and 50% rice bran), C (Combination of 75% tufo dregs and 25% rice bran), D (Combination of 25% tofu dregs and rice bran 75%),Using gutters with a size of i80 cm xi10 cm xi12 cm.i10 grams container, the test materials used were organic tufo dregs and rice bran fermeted with EM4 (Effective Microoganim-4) prebiotic.iThe results of ithe ANOVA testianalysis showed that population growth and silkworm biomass using a combination of tofu dregs fermentation and rice bran had isignificantieffecti(P>0.05) with itheibest resultsiin treatmentiD, which was 7169 induviduals and absolute biomass in D, which was 21,02 (grams) Water iquality iduring the study was in the standard range for silkworm growth.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan probiotik EM4 (Effective Micoorganism-4) dengan dosis berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan populasi cacing sutra (Tubifex Sp) menggunakan sistem rersirkulasi sederhana. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 3 bulan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). A = 10 g/wadah cacing sutra ( Tubufex sp) tidak ditambahkan EM4 (Effective Micoorganism-4), B = 10 g/wadah cacing sutra ( Tubufex sp) ditambahkan EM4 (Effective Micoorganism-4) dengan dosis 4 ml/l air, C = 10 g/wadah cacing sutra ( Tubufex sp) ditambahkan EM4 (Effective Microorganism-4) dengan dosis 8 ml/l air. D = 10 g/wadah cacing sutra ( Tubufex sp) ditambahkan EM4 (Effective Micoorganism-4) dengan dosis 12 ml/l air. Selanjutnya cacing sutra ( Tubufex sp). dibudidaya selama 4 minggu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, pemberian probiotik dengan dosis berbeda pada media hidup cacing sutra (Tubifex sp) berpengaruh nyata terhadap populasi mutlak pada perlakuan D yaitu 8064,99 individu dan biomassa mutlak pada perlakuan D yaitu mencapai 23,21 (gram) cacing sutra (Tubifex sp) Berdasarkan hasil analisis sidik ragam menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan penggunakan probiotik EM4 (Effective Micoorganism-4) memberikan pengaruh nyata antar perlakuan

Abstract

This research explores the supervisors' perceptions of the implementation of the "Kurikulum Merdeka" (Curriculum Freedom) in madrasahs in Gorontalo City and analyzes the readiness of supervisors in implementing this curriculum in Indonesia. As a national educational reform initiative, the "Kurikulum Merdeka" grants madrasahs the freedom to design curricula according to local needs. The study utilizes a qualitative descriptive method, involving data collection from supervisors through interviews and questionnaires. The research findings indicate that some supervisors welcome the "Kurikulum Merdeka," considering it an improvement over previous curricula, while others face challenges, particularly related to understanding and technological limitations. Supervisors' experiences, educational backgrounds, training, and degrees influence their perceptions of this curriculum. Supervisor readiness encompasses understanding, training, and mentoring planning. Some supervisors feel prepared for the changes, while others express limitations in resources and infrastructure. In the context of implementing the "Kurikulum Merdeka," supervisors need to prepare for challenges, enhance digital literacy, and provide support to ensure the success of this curriculum change in madrasahs. In line with various responses and supervisor readiness, this research concludes that further efforts in training, socialization, and increased understanding are necessary to support the implementation of the "Kurikulum Merdeka" at the madrasah level. Abstrak Penelitian ini membahas persepsi pengawas terhadap Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di madrasah Kota Gorontalo dan analisis dari segi kesiapan pengawas dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka, Indonesia. Kurikulum Merdeka, sebagai inisiatif Reformasi Pendidikan nasional, memberikan kebebasan kepada madrasah untuk merancang kurikulum sesuai kebutuhan lokal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, melibatkan pengumpulan data dari pengawas melalui wawancara dan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa beberapa pengawas menyambut baik Kurikulum Merdeka, melihatnya sebagai perbaikan dari kurikulum sebelumnya, sementara yang lain mengalami tantangan, terutama terkait pemahaman dan keterbatasan teknologi. Pengalaman, latar belakang pendidikan, pelatihan, dan gelar pendidikan pengawas memengaruhi persepsi mereka terhadap kurikulum ini. Kesiapan pengawas mencakup pemahaman, pelatihan, dan perencanaan pembinaan. Beberapa pengawas merasa siap menghadapi perubahan, sementara yang lain menyatakan keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana. Dalam konteks implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka, pengawas perlu bersiap menghadapi tantangan, meningkatkan literasi digital, dan memberikan dukungan untuk memastikan suksesnya perubahan kurikulum ini di madrasah. Sejalan dengan berbagai tanggapan dan kesiapan pengawas, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa upaya lebih lanjut dalam pelatihan, sosialisasi, dan peningkatan pemahaman perlu dilakukan untuk mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di tingkat madrasah.

Abstract

The quality of education is a key aspect in the development of a nation. In Indonesia, the implementation of the "Kurikulum Merdeka" in 2020 is a significant step in keeping up with global developments. Amidst this change, teachers play a central role in delivering this curriculum. They need to adapt, integrate technology, and understand the individual needs of students. Educational supervision becomes a crucial tool for enhancing teacher performance, especially in the implementation of "Kurikulum Merdeka." Educational supervision assists supervisors and teachers in collaborating, providing feedback, and identifying areas for improvement. The implementation of "Kurikulum Merdeka" requires oversight that involves various aspects such as teaching, assessment, and the use of information technology. This research uses a qualitative descriptive analysis approach and focuses on how academic supervision contributes to improving teacher performance in the implementation of "Kurikulum Merdeka." The study employs a literature review approach, utilizing previous research as a data source. The research results indicate that intensive and continuous academic supervision, coupled with teacher mentoring, can enhance teacher performance in addressing the challenges of "Kurikulum Merdeka." As a recommendation, there is a need for increased supervision intensity, the development of supervision techniques, and training in differentiated teaching to support teacher performance in implementing "Kurikulum Merdeka." This way, the quality of education in Indonesia can continue to improve.

Abstract

This recent research aimed to describe teachers’ perceptions in using Merdeka Curriculum in teaching English in SMA Negeri 3 Gorontalo Utara and SMA Negeri 5 Gorontalo Utara. The method of this research was qualitative design that is hoped to give detail and in-depth information about certain phenomenon. the result of research showed teachers positively perceive the Merdeka Curriculum's structure, commending its flexibility in organizing intracurricular content to cater to diverse student needs through innovative approaches. The division of teaching hours into intracurricular and Pancasila strengthening is also acknowledged. Implementation strengths include flexible teaching models, student-centered learning, and school autonomy. Challenges include effective teaching hour allocation, adapting to new terminology, and the need for continuous support, especially in English learning. Regarding the Pancasila Students' Profile, teachers appreciate the multifaceted approach to character education, emphasizing practical application over theoretical understanding. The early stages of the P5 program show promise in integrating Pancasila values, yet challenges persist in students' character attitudes and the call for enhanced collaboration.

Abstract

Pandemic Covid19 attacked the education site by giving a limitation in the learning process which is without direct instruction between student and teacher. It caused teacher and student used the learning activities that make it possible to carry out learning using internet access through online learning. In the fact there are so many obstacles faced by English’ teacher also student in online learning such as the bad internet connection and the lack of internet quota for student also the decreased of student’ attendance. Qualitative method aims to investigates to understand and explores a phenomenon carried out by teacher in online learning especially to aims the strategies used by teacher in online learning. The subjects were four EFL teacher who were teaching during pandemic. The theory about learning strategies was used in this study to analyze the data.Moreover this study employed an interview technique to obtain the supporting data about English teacher’s strategies in teaching English by online. The result shows that several strategies used by English teacher for instance by using Google classroom, Quiper and agreement and also several obstacles such as internet connection, internet quota and students atandance.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find and analyze the point of view utilized in the novel Adele Park Lies Lies Lies. This research utilized structural analysis, which allows the researcher to focus on the underlying patterns present in the text, particularly concerning the point of view. The data were obtained from the novel entitled Lies Lies Lies by Adele Parks and this research focused on exploring how the first-person point of view Daisy character and the third-person point of view Simon character in each other interact and contribute to the overall meaning of the story. In this research, data collection than carried out using several specific techniques including an in-depth reading of the entire novel, collecting data concerning two primary types of point of view found in the novel: first-person singular and third-person singular, identifying the specific points of view, and proceeding to analyze each of the sentences that utilized first-person singular and third-person singular point of view. The technique of analyzing data using a structural approach essential in the context of this research, as it provides a systematic and rigorous method to unravel the intricacies of the novel Lies Lies Lies by Adele Parks. The results showed that in Lies Lies Lies, the use of first-person and third-person point of views allows the reader to experience the story from different point of view. The first-person point of view highlights situations experienced by Daisy throughout the novel, which is her twisted marriage story with her husband, Simon. On the other hand, the third-person point of view highlights the situation experienced by Simon, which is his experience in dealing with his marriage, his life in prison, and the fact that his daughter was not his

Abstract

The aims of this research is to describe what are the students’ problems on the use of past participle V3. This research took place in SMK Negeri 1 Suwawa. This research used a qualitative method and took 15 students as the participants in this research. The data collected trhough interview as the main instrument and test as the supporting instrument.The results of this research students make a lot of mistakes in determining past participle and then, the need for educators to adopt effective teaching strategies that address the challenges faced by students when it comes to using past participle. Therefore, it can be concluded that students face challenges when it comes to the use of past participle. By addressing these issues, educators can help students improve their language skills and enhance their academic and professional success. The implementation of effective teaching strategies and resources can help students to gain a better understanding of past participle and develop the skills necessary to use it correctly in various contexts.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out whether frontloading strategy can enrich significantly the students’ vocabulary of SMK Negeri Model Gorontalo or not. This research applied the pre-experimental research design, with one Pre-test and Post-test design which consisted of seven meetings include the treatments. The population in this research was tenth grade students of SMK Negeri Model Gorontalo which consisted of 105 students. The sample was taking by purposive sampling technique and the total number of samples was 35 students in class Ⅹ TKJ. The result of the data analysis show that there is an improvement between the result of pre-test and post-test. The mean score of the pre-test of the students was 50,02 and the post-test was 75. It also shown that the t-test value (8,50) was higher than the t-table value (2,032). It means that the Alternative Hypothesis (H1) was accepted, and the Null Hypothesis (H0) was rejected. Thus, the using Frontloading Strategy can enrich significantly the students’ vocabulary at tenth grade students of SMK Negeri Model Gorontalo.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to investigate whether the use of bimodal subtitling in English movies can increase students’ vocabulary mastery. This research used quantitative method in the form of pre-experimental research design with one group pre-test and post-test. The subjects of this research were 16 students of class X TLM 2 of SMK Teknologi Muhammadiyah Limboto in the 2022/2023 academic year. This research used purposive sampling. The technique of collecting data was used as a vocabulary test as the instrument of this research. The data was analyzed by using paired sample t-test calculations with the help of SPSS program 23 version. The outcome demonstrated a statistically significant increase in the students' mean score between the pretest and posttest with a significant level of α= 0.05. The result showed the value of Sig. (2-tailed) was 0.000 lower than < 0.05, which means H₀ was rejected and Hₐ was accepted. Therefore, it can be stated that there was an influence of the use of bimodal subtitling in English movies to increase students’ vocabulary mastery.
