Abstract

The study examined the relationship between the Public Service Motivation and Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Location of research at the Department of Marine and Fisheries East Java Province. The population of the study was 75 employees and the sample used is 52 people. To test the pattern of model relationships established, the researchers used regresssion statistical method analysis. The results of this study prove that the Public Service Motivation has a significant and positive influence on Organizational Citizenship Behavior, as well as partially indicate that Commitment to Public Interest, Solidarity and Patriotism have a significant and positive impact on Organizational Citizenship Behavior, but Involvement in Public Policy Making has no significant effect to Organizational Citizenship.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the extent to which the influence of the physical work environment on employee productivity. The type of research used is quantitative research with explanatory research approach. The sample of the research is the operator part workers in the Manufacturing Company. The analytical method used is Multiple Linear Regression using SPSS version 20. The results showed from the five factors related to the physical work environment ie Temperature Variables, Noise, Vibration, Lighting, and air circulation indicate that the five variables have an effect on employee productivity

Abstract

The contribution of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to economic growth makes the performance of SMEs need to be improved, but in creating the optimal performance it needs a competitive advantage that must be owned by every SME. The competitive advantage can be influenced by several factors. This research was conducted with the aim to analyze the influence of entrepreneurial leadership and innovation capacity toward competitive advantage on SMEs of the Trade Service Department of Surabaya City. This study uses a quantitative approach. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires. Data analysis technique used is analysis of The Structural Equation Model (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS) program. The results of this study found that entrepreneurial leadership and innovation capacity have a significant effect on competitive advantage on SMEs of the Department of Commerce Surabaya City.

Abstract

This research aims to determine how the management of tourism object Surabaya zoo which includes: Planning, Organizing, Directing and Supervision. Management of tourism objects is expected to perform good management considering this object tourism is an icon of Surabaya City. This research uses a good management theory according to George R.Terry (2010) which consists of planning, organizing directing and supervision. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. This results of this research is that the management is well done enough and because of the nine indicators only six that have been good. These indicators are: goals, plans, jobs, employess, leadership, and relationship, while the other three indicators such as coordination is good enough. These are motivation and supervision are still lacking. This research suggests that the management of Surabaya Zoo to be better supervision and to be more improved again.

Abstract

The problem of quality of human resources is an important thing in realizing a quality public service. The role of human resources, especially the government apparatus, is important in improving the quality of public services provided to the community. This study aims to analyze the effect of Work Ability (work ability) and Quality Work (work quality) on the quality of public services at the Office of Social Affairs Bangkalan. This research uses explanatory research type with quantitative approach. Samples taken are employees of Bangkalan District Social Service counted 98 people. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires. Data analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS) program. The results of this study indicate that work ability and work quality have a significant influence on the quality of public services in Bangkalan District Social Service.

Abstract

This research was conducted qualitatively with triangulation approach with snowball sampling method. A total of 8 resource persons were taken in research consisting of formal, informal leaders, fishermen and fishermen mothers. The research took the lo-kasi in the fishing village, namely Kejawan Lor Surabaya. There are eight indicators of leadership to assess the role of informal leaders in empowering mothers of fishermen. Assessment of empowerment is done in two activities that is training activity and activity of Posyandu. The results showed that informal leadership factors such as the ability to give suggestions, support the achievement of goals, catalysts, Representation of empowerment success, source of inspiration and appreciation of the leader proved to be an effective role in leading the empowerment in Kejawan Lor. While the factors of fairness still show weaknesses that need to be improved. The conclusions of this study indicate that in-formal leaders have an effective role to empower citizens.
