Abstract

This study aims to determine the amount of cost, revenue, and income as well as the level of efficiency in the Tauge Agroindustry business in Cileles Village, Jatinangor District, Sumedang Regency. In this research, a case study method was carried out through a quantitative descriptive approach. The results of this study indicate that the total cost incurred is Rp 10.985.235, - per production, total revenue of Rp 16.011.300, - per production, and revenue on total costs of Rp 5.026.065, - per production, as well as the level of business efficiency or the R / C ratio for variable costs of 1,46 or each cost of Rp 1 will result in a receipt of Rp 1.46 so it can be concluded that the bean sprouts agro-industry in Cileles Village, Jatinangor is profitable and efficient.

Abstract

: The goal of the research is to know the mix-farming paddy-cow model, the difference of productivity  before and after usage  bioslurry,  the difference of cost of production , the difference of farmer’s income  and income of livestock business. Method was used by survey census method to 21 respondent  as  unit of analysis. The hypothesis was verified  by the t test paired. Result of the research showed the aplication of livestock (cow)  technology on mix-farming cow-paddy model has performance 62,97 %, criteria good, the aplication of  Paddy farming technology has performance 70, 88 % criteria good. Utilization of biogas and bioslurry has performance 76,50 %  criteria good.  Then the productivity has different  before and after aplication of bioslurry, where’s the produktivity  before 52  ku/ha and after 63 ku/ha. There was no difference on  cost of production before and after aplication of bioslurry where’s  before Rp 10.356.067,-/ha and after Rp 11.229.465,-/ha. Then the farm income has not different  before and after aplication of bioslurry, where’s before Rp 10.714.355,-/ha  with R/C =2,03 and after Rp 12.443.775,-/ha with R/C =2,11. Income  of livestock business (cow) has not profitable shown by R/C = 080.  Income of mix-farming paddy-cow model has not profitable shown by R/C = 0,55, with in 1 year.

Abstract

The objectives of the research was to find out: (1) how much influence of socio-economic factors on the success of farming; (2) how big the influence of farmer group dynamics on the success of farming; (3) how much influence the socio-economic factors and the dynamics of farmer groups on the success of farming. Using survey method with the unit of analysis of farmer group members who planted Ciherang Cultivar in Bojongpicung Sub-district, Cianjur District. The sampling technique was conducted by census as many as 115 respondents. The collected data was analyzed by path analysis, analytical adjusted to hypothesis test result. The results showed that the socio-economic factors and the dynamics of farmer groups simultaneously had a significant effect on the success of farming of 82.0%. The remaining 18.0% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the description of farming, the amount of farm income, and the differences in income from intercropping between potatoes and curly chilies with potatoes and tomatoes. The number of respondent farmers is 25 people for each intercropping farming. Primary data was collected through questionnaires and interviews with respondents, and secondary data was collected through literature studies to various agencies. The method used in this study is the census method, in which all the population in the field is used as respondents and selected intentionally. The analysis used to determine the differences in the income of this intercropping farming using statistical testing (SPSS version 21 application) with a paired difference test (Paired Sample t-Test). The results showed that (1) Overview of potato and curly chili intercropping with potatoes and tomatoes consisted of seed preparation, tillage, planting, maintenance, harvesting, and post-harvest to marketing (2) The average income of potato and curly chili intercropping was Rp. . 261,447,519,- per hectare per growing season, while the average 16 | O r c h i d A g r i : V o l 1 , N o 2 , B u l a n A g u s t u s T a h u n 2 0 2 1 income of potato and tomato intercropping is Rp. 256,949,751,- per hectare per growing season (3) Based on statistical tests, it was found that there was no significant difference between potato and curly chili intercropping farming income with potatoes and tomatoes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine which food crop commodities have comparative and competitive advantages and the contribution of the food crop sub-sector to the regional economy of Sumedang Regency. The method used is a case method. The results of data analysis show the following: 1) rice commodity is a food commodity with competitive and comparative advantages in most sub-districts. 2) food crop commodities provide a high contribution to the regional economy of Sumedang Regency. Meanwhile, the labor elasticity shows inelastic because each rate of economic growth increases by 1% while the labor force is decreasing by 0.046%. Based on the research results, it is suggested that there should be activities to develop food commodity areas in basic and non-basic areas, so that the competitiveness of food commodities in these areas will increase
