Abstract

The COVID-19 vaccination aims to reduce the transmission of COVID-19, reduce morbidity and mortality due to COVID-19, achieve herd immunity, and protect the community from COVID-19 to remain socially and economically productive. The role of social media in the era of digital technology can bring positive things as well as negative things, in a positive context there are invitations in the form of motivation to participate in vaccination programs. Meanwhile, in a negative context, the COVID-19 vaccination has become a cornering or scary hoax. However, this news cannot be verified. However, this news greatly influences a person's decision to participate or not in the vaccination program in addition to doubts about the safety of vaccines, doubts about the effectiveness of vaccines, distrust of vaccines, fears of side effects such as fever and pain, and religious reasons. This study will explain the level of participation of workers who work in Hospital X in receiving a prioritized vaccination program for health workers. The research method used is descriptive, where data is collected in the period from January 29, 2021, to May 10, 2021. The vaccination program which is an alternative to breaking the chain of the spread of COVID-19 is welcomed by its implementation in Hospital X with the participation rate of the results. reached 92%. The remaining 8% were not vaccinated because they did not receive a recommendation from a doctor or refused the vaccine because they were worried about the side effects.

Abstract

The prevalence of hypertension in the world in 2000 according to WHO worldwide there were 972 million people or 26.4% of the earth's inhabitants experienced hypertension. Of the 972 million people with hypertension, 333 million are in developed countries and the remaining 63 million are in developing countries, including Indonesia. Knowing the description of the incidence of controlled and uncontrolled hypertension at the Malingping Health Center in 2021. Descriptive research design. Samples were taken using the purposive sampling technique, namely 119 patients who came for treatment at the Malingping Health Center. The results were analyzed univariately. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen from 106 respondents who were not controlled (81.1%), while those who were controlled were 13 respondents (10.9%). Age of hypertensive patients included in the groupage > 60 years as many as 62 samples (52.1%). The sex of the patients was mostly female, namely 88 samples (73.9%). The incidence of hypertension sufferers in the working area of ​​Malingping Health Center is still uncontrolled, in the age group > 60 years and female.

Abstract

Breast self-examination (BSE) is done by feeling and looking at the breast itself to see the possibility of physical changes in the breast. This process is carried out so that all changes that lead to more serious conditions can be detected early. Breasts will generally feel different during menstruation. Before and during this period, most women feel that their breasts are getting tighter and denser. Therefore, women need to do a breast self-examination (BSE) every 1 month, to find out whether there is a change in the shape of the breast from time to time. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge and behavior about breast self-examination (Aware) in young women. The research used is qualitative research using a descriptive observational study design, namely conducting in-depth interviews with 4 informants which are by the interview guidelines. Based on the results of the study, 4 respondents had been interviewed according to the addresses of their respective researchers, respondents according to the characteristics of the study. And respondents have good enough knowledge about breast self-examination (BSE), respondents also behave to check their breasts regularly after menstruation.

Abstract

Hypertension is influenced by several factors such as gender, age, genetics, family history of the disease, excessive salt intake, smoking habits, less than optimal diet (quality and quantity), lack of physical activity, and excessive body weight. The world health organization (WHO) shows that in world data about 39.6% of people suffer from hypertension. Hypertension is usually experienced by late adults or the elderly. According to Riskesdas, the prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia was 25.8% in 2007 with age > 18 years. Research conducted in Jakarta shows that the prevalence of hypertension reaches 20%. Researchers are interested in studying the relationship between lifestyle and the incidence of hypertension. This study aims to determine the description of the lifestyle of patients with hypertension. This study uses a qualitative method by collecting data from interviews which are expressed in words or writing. This study is a study conducted on 4 people with hypertension. The time of the research took place in June 2021. The results of the study obtained that lifestyle greatly affects the incidence of hypertension. Physical activity research was obtained from 4 respondents, most respondents rarely do physical activity and most of them consume foods that are high in salt content.

Abstract

Background: The Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia, apart from having an impact on physical health, also has an impact on psychological or mental health. Psychological impacts during the pandemic include post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, frustration, fear of infection, insomnia, and feeling helpless. Aim: This study was conducted to determine the impact of Covid-19 on mental health, as well as to find out strategies in dealing with these impacts so that they survive in the Covid-19 pandemic era. Methods: This study uses literature with the object of mental health research during the Covid-19 pandemic, several journal sources and related articles are reviewed and grouped. Results: This study shows that Covid-19 has an impact on mental health by people in various parts of the world. In Indonesia, mental health problems, such as anxiety, depression, trauma due to the Covid-19 pandemic are also being felt in real terms at this time. Conclusions: The COVID-19 pandemic has a major impact on mental health. The government's strategy and community participation are expected to be able to face mental health challenges due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Gastritis that occurs in developing countries is mostly experienced by young people with a predominant age of 20 years. The recurrence experienced can increase the risk of developing a disease that is more dangerous and difficult to cure, even causing death. This study was to determine the factors associated with the incidence of gastritis at the age of 17-21 years in the work area of ​​the Pesanggrahan Public Health Center in 2018. This study uses a quantitative type of research with a Case-Control study design. The population in this study were patients aged 17-21 years at the Pesanggrahan Public Health Center for the period June-August 2018. Cases were patients diagnosed with gastritis and controls were non-gastritis patients. Cases and controls were selected by accidental sampling technique as many as 50 people with a ratio of 1:1. Data were collected through interviews and analysis using the Chi-Square test with a value of = 0.05. The study showed that there was a relationship between several risk factors and the incidence of gastritis, including gender (OR=2,986, 95% CI = 2,680-3,654), knowledge (OR= 2,528, 95% CI=1,112-5,744), eating frequency (OR=9,333, 95% CI =1,121-77,704), Meal Time Interval (OR=5,670, 95%CI=2,144-14,997), Frequency of Drinking Tea (OR=2,923, 95% CI =1,245-6.865), Frequency of Spicy (OR=3.407, 95% CI =1.401-8.285), Frequency of Acid Eating (OR=1.196, 95% CI =1.801-2.478), Frequency of Instant Noodles (OR=10.444, 95% CI =2.855-38.211) while the risk factors which are not related to the incidence of gastritis are education, frequency of drinking coffee, frequency of drinking soda. It is necessary to improve health programs such as education, health promotion targeting teenagers in schools.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine factors related to self-care in end-stage renal disease (ESRD) patients undergoing hemodialysis. This study design is a comparative categorical analysis by cross-sectional. Was done to 92 hemodialyses this study was conducted at the hemodialysis unit of Dr. Muhamad Yunus hospital Bengkulul. Data was collected by a self-care measurement scale modified questionnaire. self-care level was 50% desirable. No correlation between age, sex, education level, HD duration, family income, and depression to self-care, there is a correlation between self-efficacy and social support to self-care. Self-efficacy is the most influential factor in self-care, it is important to increase self-efficacy by education program about ERSD and hemodialysis.

Abstract

The global prevalence of anemia in non-pregnant women, of childbearing age, is estimated at 29.0% and is more common in low- and middle-income countries, women belonging to low socioeconomic strata. iron deficiency can cause direct or risky disability. To determine the effectiveness of Non-Pharmacological Interventions for the treatment of anemia. The method used is with the help of electronic databases from journals that have been published through PubMed, Proquest, EBSCOhost, and Science Direct as many as 6 articles were reviewed from 1186 articles. The 6 articles reviewed in this study with varied respondents using patients, male rats, nurses, Sprague-Dawley (SD) Rattus norvegicus Domestica, bovine serum, premature neonates. Non-pharmacological interventions developed in the treatment of anemia in both human and animal samples as well as the development of treatment and laboratory examinations in the treatment of anemia are Nursing Delirium Screening scale, Hepcidin expression, pain identification, HM10760A, Divalent metal transporter DMT1/SLC11A2, conservative management.

Abstract

Prevention of Covid-19 transmission by increasing immunity of the body with protein intake results in changes in people's dietary behavior. Pressure due to changing environment and loss of work leads to the tendency to eat sweet foods, preserved, high in fat and salt. This study aims to determine changes in food consumption patterns in Indonesia during the Covid-19 pandemic. Use a quick assessment of empirical facts about Indonesia's ongoing impact on Covid-19. The research approach framework conceptualizes Covid-19 as a 'Cause', and its effect on changes in food consumption patterns is "Consequent". The data used in this study from study literature uses references from national and international literature. Literature materials in the form of journals, articles, books, and news that discuss the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on people's behavior, especially food consumption behavior, which can be accessed in electronic media. Pandemic covid-19 in Indonesian society affects food consumption patterns, namely, in adults, consumption of vegetables, fruits, and spices increases. While in adolescence, consumption of sweets and fast food increases. This change in the diet affects immunity. A healthy diet increases immunity and reduces the potential for contracting covid-19. Changes in different diets require a tailored approach to community nutrition fulfillment programs. It is necessary to create a program to raise awareness among young people to implement a healthy diet, and a program to support the consistency of healthy diets that have been formed in the community due to the covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Another health problem that has emerged as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic is mental health problems which if left unchecked can develop into serious health problems. The Oxford study shows that people over the age of 50 who are female, and those who are hospitalized due to the coronavirus are much more likely to suffer from brain and psychological complications, a much higher risk of dementia, a brain disorder condition, in Covid-19 survivors. 19. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research. The Covid-19 pandemic not only has an impact on physical health but also has an impact on other aspects of life such as the social and economic aspects of the community. From the results of interviews with the subject, the author indicates that individuals infected with Covid-19 experience anxiety, worry, and fear, even stress. Anxiety is not only due to the coronavirus infection but also the social environment in which they live which still discriminates against patients and their families infected with Covid-19.
