Buletin Psikologi focuses on contextualizing psychological concepts or phenomena within the socio-cultural setting of Indonesia through the use of non-empirical study, such as, literature review, systematic review, scoping review, and meta-analysis. It accepts articles that are based on the thorough and systematic examination of psychological constructs from the perspective of Indonesian context. The journal is open access, peer-reviewed, and published biannually. We accept and publishes articles in English and Bahasa Indonesia languages to accommodate our diverse audience in Indonesia and internationally.

Abstract

Artikel ini menyajikan meta-analisis terkait hubungan antara tipe kepribadian berdasar five factors model (FFM) dan penyesuaian pernikahan. Studi ini mereview 17 kajian yang terdiri dari 12 artikel, 2 tesis, dan 3 disertasi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan hubungan yang lemah antara tipe kepribadian dan penyesuaian pernikahan. Koefisien korelasi berkisar antara 0,0006 hingga 0,099 pada tiap faktor kepribadian (-0.005 pada neuroticism, 0,021 pada extraversion, 0,0006 pada openness, 0,099 pada agreeableness, dan 0,045 pada conscientiousness).

Abstract

This Study was meta-analysis of the relationship between self efficacy and mathematics learning outcome. The quantitative review includes 14 studies from 13 articles that contained a combined sample of approximately 6157. This analysis extends previous work by directly correcting error of sampling and measurements. Summary analysis provided support that self efficacy has a correlation on mathematics learning outcome. The result showed self efficacy have been identified as predictors and mathematics learning outcome.

Abstract

Many studies of parental involvement in education have been conducted, which one of the purposed was to found the effect of parental involevement in education to student engagement in school, but the studies showed varied and conflicting result. This study is a meta analysis of correlation between parental involvement in education and student engagament in school, that want to make synthesis between that varied and conflicting result in the previous studies. The parental involvement in this study consist of all of parental behavior that showed involvement in teenager educational problem, both in the school and home area. There were 35 studies from 15 articles. Result showed that there was positive correlation between parental involvement in education and teenager student engagement.

Abstract

Sharing of knowledge constitutes the basic concept of knowledge management and important aspect of knowledge management system because knowledge is viewed as the most valuable resource. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze any factor that influences sharing of knowledge. According to the research map made by Helmi (2008), sharing of knowledge is influenced by individual’s characteristics, which is self-efficacy, and reward system at the level of organization. The results of any existing researches on both seem to be less consistent. The purpose of this research is to study the results of researches having been done by researchers in the field of organization, finding out whether self-efficacy and reward system are consistently related to each other. They will be tested using meta-analysis method. Meta-analysis study results in self-efficacy and reward system contributes to sharing of knowledge.
