Abstract

This research examines or discusses the Communication Strategy of the Village Consultative Body in Stopping Night Parties in Sawang Lebar Village, Tanjung Agung Palik District, North Bengkulu Regency. Because of the many negative impacts that are felt, it is feared that if night parties continue to be held the impacts that occur will be worse, and it is also feared that it could become a new culture or habit, because night parties are held continuously and repeatedly, therefore many people and community leaders and religious instructors who are restless and disturbed and report to the Village Consultative Body because they feel this is part of their responsibility because it is a violation of village customs and religion. The purpose of this research was to find out what strategies were used by the Village Consultative Body so that it could stop the night party that had been going on for 8 (eight) months in Sawang Lebar village, Tanjung Agung Palik subdistrict, North Bengkulu district. The theoretical basis of communication strategy is the planning and preparation of communication stages carried out by communicators in order to convey messages and information to communicants to achieve a goal. The researcher used a descriptive qualitative methodology, which is appropriate because the data needed mainly consists of information and interviews from informants. Data for this study were collected through consultation with the village government and members of the Sawang Lebar village community. To collect the necessary information, the researcher used several techniques, including observation, interviews, and documentation. The research findings indicate that the strategy implemented by the Village Consultative Body to limit night parties involves formulating village regulations that prohibit night parties and the sale of alcoholic beverages in densely populated areas. Abstract

Da'wah, the activity of inviting and urging people towards good (ma'ruf) andaway from evil (munkar), is a significant aspect of Islam. Today, da'wah is not only delivered from the pulpit but also through social media, such as Instagram. This study aims to explain the content of da'wah messages in motion graphic videos found on the Instagram account @muhammadnuzuldzikri during the period from June 2023 to November 2023. The theories used in this research are Samsul Munir Amin's theory of da'wah messages and the content analysis theoriesof Neuendorf and Krippendorff. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using content analysis methods. Based on the results of the study, therewere 19 motion graphic videos during the period from June 2023 to November 2023. These videos contained three categories of da'wah messages: aqidah(faith), sharia (Islamic law), and akhlaq (morality). Within these three categories, several types of messages were identified. In the aqidah category, there were four messages about faith in Allah SWT, faith in the Prophet Muhammad (peace beupon him), faith in the holy books of Allah SWT, and faith in Qadha and Qadar. In the sharia category, there were eight messages about dhikr (remembrance) of Allah SWT, remembering Allah in the month of Al-Muharram, practicing the Sunnah of the Prophet in the month of Al-Muharram, practicing the fast of Ashura, practicing Sunnah fasting, practicing fasting on the 9th of Al-Muharram, the deeds of those who will sacrifice, and the deeds on the day of Arafah. In the akhlaq category, there were seven messages about morality towards Allah SWT, morality towards oneself, and morality towards fellow humans. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the perceptions of mosque congregations in Teluk Segara District and Gading Cempaka District toward the Minang Subuh Safari Community in preserving the congregational Fajr prayer movement in Bengkulu City, using Schmitt's sociological theory. The research method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through participant observation and in-depth interviews. The results show that mosque congregations in Teluk Segara District and Gading Cempaka District have a positive perception of the Minang Subuh Safari Community. This community is considered a catalyst for the revival of the congregational Fajr prayer movement in Bengkulu City. Based on Schmitt's sociological theory, the positive perception of mosque congregations toward the Minang Subuh Safari community is based on several factors, namely: Social factors: Minang residents tend to be more active because they value interaction and community relationships. However, local congregations have varying levels of participation depending on the location of the mosque. Economic factors: Many congregants are still focused on economic activities, making them less enthusiastic about this activity. Religious factors: The low level of religious understanding makes some congregants less aware of the importance of this activity. The perception of mosque congregations toward the Minang Subuh Safari community, which has contributed to preserving the congregational Fajr prayer movement in Bengkulu City, is positive and favorable. This is evidenced by the view of congregants who actively participate in organizing congregational Fajr prayers. However, even after this activity is held, many congregants still have not experienced a significant change in their participation in Fajr prayers at the mosque. Abstract

Cinematographyis an important aspect in the world of cinema. Good cinematography is able to convey the message of a film to the audience. The purpose of this research is to analyze the cinematography in the documentary film Negeri under the Mist, this can be seen from the main factors in conveying messages in a film using cinematography, thereby adding insight about the film. This research is a type of qualitative research with data collection, namely analysis of media texts, documentation and literature or library research by taking pictures or the remains of the author to obtain direct data which includes books, journals, documentary film articles and other data. The method used in this study is the Joseph V. Mascelli method.Based on the research results, this film uses the right cinematographic elements, as seen from the techniques used which have their own purpose and meaning, thereby beautifying the appearance of the documentary film. There are three angles that can be examined in the film Negeri di Bawah Fog using the Joseph V Mascelli method, namely the Eye level, Low angle and High angle techniques. Abstract

The Regional Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPID) is an independent body established in each province of Indonesia to oversee broadcasting activities. In Bengkulu Province, one of KPID's responsibilities is to educate the public to reduce the negative impacts of broadcasting. Poor-quality broadcasting can hinder human resource development, especially among the youth, creating challenges related to the investment in human resources and its effects. This research aims to examine the communication strategy used by KPID Bengkulu to promote media literacy for fostering healthy broadcasting. The study employs a qualitative descriptive approach, gathering data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that KPID's efforts in media literacy socialization are focused on achieving healthy broadcasting. The commission has created a research team to evaluate the impacts of broadcasting from different media on the community. Socialization efforts regarding media literacy by KPID Bengkulu were carried out through direct involvement in media literacy programs and P3SPS initiatives.
