Abstract

This study's objective is to examine the design of a heat exchanger for the production of SnO2 nanoparticles by calculating the shell and tube heat exchanger's dimensions. In order for the design to be well-directed, several steps must be taken, including determining the heat exchanger's dimensions and material requirements using standards, computing the main shell and tube components, and computing the heat exchanger's performance. Microsoft Excel is used for heat exchanger data processing. One shell and two tubes were used in the design of the heat exchanger. The results of the designed HE have a shell diameter of 0.84 m, a tube length of 7.315 m, and an inside diameter of 0.021 m. The flow type of HE is turbulent, with a heat transfer efficiency of 48.05 percent and a fouling factor of 0.0015195 m2·K/W, the device generates a heat transfer rate of 958198.91 W. This study demonstrates that the heat exchanger has a successful, high-performing design. This design can be used as a model for creating a heat exchanger that is more cost-efficient, efficient, and reliable.

Abstract

Tugu Sub-district is one of the coastal areas in Semarang City that has a fairly extensive mangrove plant. These mangrove plants have a function to reduce and prevent sea water abrasion. In order for the function to run optimally, the health of mangrove plants needs to be monitored regularly. Research on mangrove plant health through sentinel 2A imagery has been conducted, but the results achieved are less than optimal. This is because mangrove health factors are not only seen from the vegetation index alone, but also the condition of the waters around mangroves. Seeing these shortcomings, researchers are trying to identify mangrove health based on the value of the vegetation index and its water bioindicator parameters. This study aims to identify mangrove health through sentinel 2A image interpretation and bioindicator parameters of mangrove waters. This study used a survey method accompanied by laboratory analysis. The results showed that sentinel imagery is effective enough to identify mangrove health with an accuracy value of 87.9%. Interpretation results showed mangroves with good health covering 37.03 ha, medium covering 36.42 ha, and low covering 189.14 ha. Based on aquatic bioindicator parameters (benthos and C-organic) shows that mangrove health conditions are still in fairly good condition. This is evidenced by the discovery of benthic diversity in the Tugu mangrove area which is dominated by the Gastropoda, Bivalvia, Echinoidhea, Malacostraca, and Scyphozoan classes. In addition, the value of C-Organic content is still quite high, which is 2.10 - 4.25%. Spatially high mangrove health is in the North Coastal Area of Tugu, moderate health is in the watershed area, and low mangrove health is in the pond area.

Abstract

The Belitung Regency Regional Food and Agriculture Security Service has a program for distributing plant seed assistance. This program aims to support the Food Security program in Belitung Regency. The problem encountered in the distribution of this assistance was in the selection of prospective beneficiaries which was carried out subjectively and based on activity alone, this resulted in the distribution of assistance not being on target. This study aims to create a decision support system that can select villages as recipients of plant seed assistance using the Simple Additive Weighting method. The stages of this research started with problem identification and research objectives, data collection, data analysis, determining criteria and weighting, then implementing the SAW method, system design, implementation, system testing, and conclusions. The results of this study are a system that can rank selected villages as recipients of plant seeds. With this system, the selection of villages that will receive plant seed assistance from the Food Security and Agriculture Service of the Belitung Regency can be carried out easily and efficiently. Based on tests carried out using Usability Testing with SUS obtaining a value of 81.75 and included in the Acceptable category. Tests using validity carried out also have the same results between manual calculations and calculations from the system so that the results obtained are stated to be valid. The last test was carried out using the Blackbox method which yielded a value of 100% in terms of the functionality of all the features in the system. Looking at the three test results, it can be concluded that the system that has been built is feasible to use.

Abstract

The drug distribution process determines the sustainability of drug stocks in pharmaceutical services. It is hoped that the design of an information system for drug procurement and ordering can make the distribution process more effective and efficient. While information systems for drug procurement and ordering exist, they are typically designed for individual distributors. This research aims to design an information system by displaying flowcharts that map the drug procurement and ordering process, and by developing user interfaces that facilitate interaction with the system. The research was carried out through a Literature Review. Reference searches were conducted using the Google Scholar search engine. The keywords used in the keyword search were "pharmaceutical wholesalers AND information system design AND drug procurement" and the references selected were within the last 10 years. The information system design was implemented by creating flowchart diagrams using draw.io software and developing user interface designs using Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2019. The drug procurement and ordering information system can be accessed by PBFs as distributors and pharmacists as consumers. The information system designed is included in the e-Health Commerce Application type, which aims to facilitate the payment process and reduce costs incurred by the health environment. The designed information system can create a more efficient drug distribution process.
