Abstract

In children with cerebral palsy, core stability exercise is an important aspect that must be done as a basis and preparation for crawling. In addition, neurosensorimotor reflex integration is given to help control emotions so that children can cooperate when given exercise. These two methods are given because they can support the motor, sensory, and cognitive aspects of children. It is hoped that research outcomes can be achieved. To determine the effect of core stability exercise and neurosensorimotor reflex integration on the crawling ability on children with spastic quadriplegia cerebral palsy. Single subject research conducted on a 20-month-old spastic quadriplegious cerebral palsy child. Subjects were given core stability exercise and neurosensorimotor reflex integration for 4 weeks, therapy was carried out twice a week and follow-up measurements were made on children's motor development for 1 month. Evaluation of children's motoric measurement, using the GMFCS (Gross Motor Function Classification System) instrument. The baseline found that there was no significant development in the child's ability to crawl. However, at the second follow-up, the child was able to perform crawling movements even though the pattern was less than perfect. Creep becomes the basis for crawling. There was no significant improvement in children's motoric development, namely crawling after being given core stability exercise and neurosensorimotor reflex integration for one month.

Abstract

Balance is the ability to maintain a central projection. Balance is needed to maintain position and stability when moving from one position to another. The result of balance disorders is falls and often leads to injury, disability, loss of independence and reduced quality of life. Physiotherapists play a role in providing interventions, one of which is four square step exercise and ankle strategy exercise. To determine the effect of four square step exercise and ankle strategy exercise on improving balance in the elderly. Methods: quasi-experimental with pre and post design in the elderly at PRA West Palbapang, Bantul. Measuring instrument with TUTG (Time Up and Go Test). Based on the age of 100% of the elderly Women, based on the age of 100% between the ages of 60-74 years, Based on the work of 20 elderly as housewives. Based on statistical tests to determine the effect of groups 1 and 2. From the TUGT test results obtained with a value of P = 0.034, it means that P <0.05 and Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So it is stated that the 2 interventions are equally beneficial in balance disorders. Four Square Step Exercise and Ankle Strategy Exercise have an effect on improving the balance of the elderly in the West Palbapang Aisyiyah Branch, Bantul, Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Tawangmangu District is one area that is often hit by landslides during the rainy season. The landslide event has caused both material and non-material losses to the community, so that community preparedness is needed in dealing with landslide disasters and ongoing efforts to improve community preparedness in reducing the risks caused by landslide disasters. The aims of this study are: (1) to spatially analyze the community's preparedness for landslide hazards in Tawangmangu District, (2) to examine the village government's efforts to improve community preparedness for landslide disasters in Tawangmangu District. The method used in this research is a survey by conducting interviews using a questionnaire to the community, namely the head of the family and village government officials in 6 villages prone to landslides in Tawangmangu District. The results of this study include the level of community preparedness with a ready category including Tawangmangu Village with a score of 16.10, Tengklik Village with a score of 15.42, Plumbon Village with a score of 15.17, and Kalisoro Village with a score of 13.85. Meanwhile, the level of community preparedness in the unprepared category includes Nglebak Village with a score of 12.36 and Bandardawung Village with a score of 11.75. Spatially there are various different efforts between villages in Tawangmangu District in increasing community preparedness to reduce the risk of landslides. Efforts to improve community preparedness in each village in general are by holding outreach, holding pickets, building supporting facilities, forming a disaster task force, and using emergency response applications. The efforts of Tengklik Village are to conduct socialization, carry out tree planting activities, form a disaster task force, build supporting facilities, and use ground motion detection tools. Plumbon Village's efforts are to hold socialization and community meetings, build supporting facilities, add logistics, and form disaster volunteers. The efforts of Kalisoro Village are to conduct socialization, build supporting facilities, form disaster volunteers, and use emergency response applications. The efforts of Nglebak Village to hold community cooperation and form a disaster task force. The efforts of Bandardawung Village are to hold socialization and community meetings, form a disaster task force, and build supporting facilities.

Abstract

Cancer is a disease that can attack any part of the body when the abnormal cells begin to grow uncontrollably beyond the limit, then attack the connected parts of the body and / or spread to other organs. The noni plant (Morinda citrifolia L) is a herbal plant that can be used as a treatment for various diseases, one of which is cancer. The noni (Morinda citrifolia L) plant contains phytochemicals ranging from fruit, seeds, leaves and roots. This review article aims to examine the cytotoxicity effects of noni (Morinda citrifolia L) plants on cancer cells. The library sources in this article review use the Google Scholar and PubMed databases. The inclusion criteria used were articles containing the cytotoxic test of noni (Morinda citrifolia L) with the last 10 years of publication (2011-2020), original research, there were results of anticancer activity in the form of IC50 and research using noni plant extracts (Morinda citrifolia L). The exclusion criteria used were articles that did not contain a full text, used plants with different genus, did not have an IC50 value and were not original research. From the journals that have been analyzed, it can be said that the extract of the noni (Morinda citrifolia L) plant can be developed for cancer treatment. Noni plant has cytotoxic activity because it contains active compounds in the form of damnacanthal, nordamnacanthal, morindone, flavonoids and alkaloids. Based on the results of the cytotoxic test of Morinda citrifolia extract, the plant parts that have the strongest cytotoxic effect are fruit> roots> root bark> leaves> shoots.

Abstract

The current industrial implementation process is required to be carried out efficiently and environmentally friendly, this can be done with the presence of a heat exchanger. However, heat exchangers in the production of aluminum nitride nanoparticles are still rare. The purpose of this research is to analyze and improve the heat exchanger design in the production process of aluminum nitride nanoparticles at low cost. The heat exchanger can be designed based on several parameters of the TEMA standard by dimensional specification and specifications of hot and cold fluids. The method is calculated using a Microsoft excel application to evaluate the heat exchanger design according to the TEMA standard. The results showed that the shell and tube heat exchanger was designed with 39 tubes and an effective value of 85.72%. These results have met the TEMA standard and it is hoped that the design and evaluation of this heat exchanger can be used as a reference in the aluminum nitride nanoparticle production industry.
