Abstract

This research explores the role of social media (Instagram, TikTok, and Platform X) in exposing legal violations during the Palestine-Israel conflict. The study aims to understand the impact of these three platforms through the Instagram account @suarasurabayamedia. The findings indicate that Instagram accelerates information dissemination and visual impact, TikTok creates mass awareness through short video formats, and Platform X provides space for diverse perspectives. The social media's focus on Israeli atrocities influences public opinion, supports international solidarity movements, and triggers international pressure and UN resolutions. The impact of social media involves information dissemination, support, amplification of marginalized voices, but also carries the risk of inaccurate information and criticism from authorities. Therefore, the use of social media needs to be balanced with responsibility to prevent the spread of harmful information or worsening conflict situations.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease associated with high levels of sugar or glucose in the blood caused by pancreatic and insulin disorders. According to data from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, Diabetes is the third leading cause of death in Indonesia with a percentage of 6.7%. The high rate prompted this study to conduct early detection. One approach that has been widely used is the use of the Support Vector Machine algorithm in predictive modeling. The method was chosen because it was proven in previous studies to get quite high accuracy. Several preprocessing methods were performed to prepare the data for the classification process. The data used involved parameters such as pregnancy, glucose, blood pressure, skin thickness, insulin, weight, heredity, and age. Based on experimental results in ongoing system testing, the maximum performance result is 87% using SVM.

Abstract

In our daily lives, we are often faced with the challenge of broken roads that can affect our travel. To solve this problem, a web-based map system has been developed. The system uses road data from OpenStreetMap and the A-star algorithm to find the shortest route that avoids bad roads. The website is built using JavaScript, PHP, HTML, and CSS, with the support of a MySQL database that stores information on damaged roads and user accounts. The process of using the system starts with registration and account login. Users can view the map on the main page, report the damaged road with photo evidence equipped with a time watermark and coordinate data, and view their initial route. The admin then validates the damaged road data, and the system automatically constructs an alternative route that avoids the verified damaged roads. The accuracy of the A-star algorithm in finding routes depends on the amount and correctness of the damaged road data entered by the admin. In further development, special attention is paid to admin validation, data security, integration with location service provider APIs, and performance optimization. Richer reporting features, multi-platform support, and notifications to users could also be valuable additions. With good documentation and thorough testing, the system is expected to provide an effective solution and be well received by users.

Abstract

Currently it is still done manually and causes difficulties in data retrieval and income capitulation, there are several steps that can be taken to increase efficiency and accuracy in administrative management. Here are some suggestions: Management Information System (MIS) or Laundry Application: Implement a management information system or laundry-specific application that can help automate administrative processes. This application can record laundry receipt transactions, record customer data, and store income information in a more structured manner. Barcode or Unique Identification System: Use a barcode or unique identification system on each laundry receipt. This will make it easier to track and search data. Each customer or order can have a unique code or barcode that can be scanned to identify the transaction. Electronic Logging: Switch from manual logging to electronic logging. Use spreadsheet or database software to store and manage data. Make sure all laundry receipt data, including customer information and type of service, is recorded carefully. Centralized Database System: By implementing these solutions, you can optimize the laundry service administration process, reduce data search time, and increase revenue management efficiency. The aim of creating a Laundry Service Information System is to make it easier for business owners to manage customer transaction data and in preparing financial reports. The methods used in collecting data are observation, interviews and literature study, while the system development method used is R&D (Research and Development). This system was built using the PHP programming language, Boostrap, and for the database using MySQL. The results of this research are a web-based laundry service information system. This laundry service information system contains 2 access rights, namely Admin and customer. Customers can find out the status of their laundry and payments, while Admins can manage customer data, manage transactions, and view print reports

Abstract

This research focuses on classifying diseases on corn leaves using Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) with HE and CLAHE image processing methods. Corn plants, as the main food crop, are susceptible to various diseases that can reduce the quantity and quality of the harvest. With advances in AI technology, CNN is implemented to automatically identify disease symptoms on corn leaves. Previously, research using KNN and GLCM feature extraction resulted in low accuracy. Therefore, this research utilizes HE and CLAHE image processing techniques to improve image quality before classification is carried out. The research results show that CNN with CLAHE achieves the highest accuracy of 95%, while the use of HE produces an accuracy of 91%. Testing successfully identified 149 disease images with CLAHE, while HE classified 145 disease images. The conclusion of the research is that using CNN with CLAHE is more effective in classifying corn leaf diseases compared to HE with an accuracy of 95%. It is hoped that the application of this method can help farmers efficiently identify and overcome diseases in corn plants, supporting increased yields.

Abstract

The development of information technology is currently growing rapidly. Many organizations and companies have implemented computerized and structured information systems to support their work. However, there are still business sectors that have not yet implemented a computerized information system, such as the bakery in Tambaksari, namely Box Cakes and Pastry, which still carries out its work manually in recording stock of goods and checking the expiration date on each item displayed. at the shop, The final result of this research is a stock management information system in which stock data recording and checking is no longer done manually but instead uses a computerized system. This system will sort expiration dates automatically by applying the FEFO method, then this system will display notifications / reminders for employees working at Box Cakes and Pastry to make it easier to find out items that are approaching their expiration date.

Abstract

Website-based public services are certainly an important part of supporting the success of a higher education institution, one of which is a journal website for the publication of scientific articles for lecturers and students. However, many of these website-based services are still difficult to use and do not function well. This research was conducted to evaluate whether the ABC Journal website has usability testing acceptability criteria and find out how much user acceptance the website has. The method used in this research is the Usability Testing method. Based on the results of data processing, the average value of the overall usability test to measure the use of the ABC Journal website for the Learnability aspect was 3.25, Efficiency was 3.30, Memorability was 3.20, Errors were 3.28 and Satisfaction was 3.23. These results show that the ABC Journal website is quite easy to use. Suggestions to the administrator of the ABC Journal Website, to increase the value of each aspect of usability so that it can be easy to use for its users.

Abstract

The urgency of research with the theme of designing and implementing a smart home monitoring and control system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) to improve energy efficiency and quality of life is very important to carry out, in general it can be described as being able to increase energy efficiency; improve the quality of life where the system can regulate temperature, humidity and lighting to create a comfortable and healthy environment; encourage innovation; providing solutions to environmental challenges; optimizing energy availability where the smart home IoT system can regulate the use of available energy. Thus, it is very important to carry out this research to face environmental challenges and improve people's quality of life. The main objective of this research is to develop a system that can monitor and control energy use in the home efficiently, so as to improve energy efficiency and the quality of life of home residents, to overcome weaknesses and develop a holistic and effective smart home monitoring and control system. IoT based. The method used in this research is the Research and Development method, where this method is a process or steps to develop a new product or improve an existing product, which can be accounted for. The research results show that the IoT system can be designed and function well based on the results of the tests that have been carried out.

Abstract

One of the three main factors influencing population dynamics is migration, along with births and deaths. Changes in population structure will definitely be influenced by migration. If in-migration is more than out-migration, the population will increase, but if out-migration is less than in-migration, the population will decrease. Therefore, it is necessary to know the grouping of regions based on population migration levels. To carry out this grouping, it is necessary to use Data mining methods. In this research, the Data mining used is Clustering using the K-Medoids algorithm. This method divides each district into predetermined groups. The K-Medoids method was chosen because it uses physical data that is not abstract and clear, which is suitable for the problem of grouping population migration data. By grouping migration levels based on districts/cities in West Java, it will be known which districts/cities in West Java have high levels of incoming migration, medium migration and high outmigration. Then recommendations can be given to the local government according to the migration level category.
