Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of financial behavior through financial technology and locus of control on students of Karang Taruna Cendrawasi in Madurejo village. In this study, the population consisted only of students of Karang Taruna Cendrawasi in Madurejo village and 100 students registered as members of Karang Taruna were used as samples taken using the random sampling method. The data used were primary data obtained from questionnaires distributed online. Classical hypothesis testing and multiple regression analysis using the SPSS V25.0 program were used for data analysis. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that: (1) the financial technology variable has a positive insignificant effect on the financial behavior variable, (2) the locus of control variable has a negative insignificant effect on the financial behavior variable of Karang Taruna Cendrawasi students in Madurejo village. (3) And simultaneously the financial technology and locus of control variables have a positive significant effect on the financial behavior variable of Karang Taruna Cendrawasi students in Madurejo village.

Abstract

This article explores the significance of viral marketing and how it impacts tourism branding and affects travelers' behaviors from clicks to trips. It uses three themes: destination image, traveler engagement, authenticity, and how it influences travel intention. A qualitative approach is used to uncover insights, while a thematic analysis is used to look for patterns that emerge from the data. The results reveal that strategic use of social media platforms and user-generated content (UGC) of destinations can craft authentic and compelling narratives that resonate with travelers, enhancing destinations' visibility and appeal. The research also highlights the dual nature of viral marketing; while it can significantly boost a destination's desirability by showcasing cultural attractions and positive visitor experiences, it also presents risks, as poorly managed campaigns can lead to negative publicity and damage a destination's reputation. Some examples of viral campaigns illustrate the potential benefits and challenges of viral marketing. The study concludes that successful viral marketing requires a careful balance of authenticity, emotional engagement, and consistent information, enabling tourism brands to build lasting relationships with visitors. However, as viral content continues to shape perceptions, destinations must manage their online reputation effectively to ensure their brand promise is consistently upheld.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of promotion and customer behavior on the decision to continue studying for a Master's degree with trust as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative approach with PLS-SEM analysis, the study found that customer behavior has a significant direct influence on the decision to continue studying (β=0.661, p<0.001), while promotion and customer behavior have a significant effect on the formation of trust. However, trust was not proven to mediate the relationship between the independent variables and the decision to continue studying, creating a "trust-action gap" phenomenon. The implication is that higher education institutions need to integrate customer experience management with promotional strategies that build trust, as well as develop mechanisms for converting trust into actual decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the work-life balance of the millennial generation in the digital era at PT PNM Mekaar Regional Kediri in order to capture the conditions and implementation of WLB by AO employees that lead to the use of flexibility in terms of time in utilizing technology when working. A qualitative approach with a design thinking model was chosen as the approach and model in this study. The unit of analysis was employees of PT PNM Mekaar Regional Kediri who were included in the millennial generation group with a sample of five employees using purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, and think-aloud. The research procedure was carried out by applying a design thinking model consisting of stages in the form of empathize, define, ideate, and prototype. The data analysis technique used NVivo 15. The results of the study describe the results of the interview in the form of a word cloud and the work-life balance of millennial generation employees using the design thinking model. First, empathize, the results obtained that employees need adequate applications, work flexitime, and provide rewards for customers. Second, define, the results obtained that employees are able to distinguish the concept of work and personal life so that the two are not mixed up, but have positions and priorities according to their use. Third, ideate, the results obtained are in the form of four elements of employee needs, including application systems, application features, flexitime, and customer rewards. Fourth, prototype, the results obtained are a description of the application features along with their respective descriptions.

Abstract

The digital transformation in the insurance industry demands high system resilience to ensure continuous service delivery to customers. This study aims to analyze the integration of Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) within a digital insurance system, using the Generali Hospital Network (GHN) of Generali Indonesia as a case study. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach based on a case study, the primary data is derived from the author's direct experience as a backend developer of the GHN system. The results reveal that an outage in the Kafka cloud broker caused a failure in transmitting inpatient and outpatient registration data from hospitals, disrupting the printing of key documents and hindering claim processes. The incident highlighted the absence of formal RTO/RPO documentation, lack of Kafka failover, and the absence of disaster recovery simulations. However, as part of the recovery effort, the DevOps team has implemented a monitoring system on GCP integrated with Telegram and email alerts. This study concludes that a well-integrated BCP and DRP are essential to maintaining service continuity and mitigating operational disruption in digital insurance environments
