Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis upaya mitigasi dalam penanganan banjir di Kota Semarang untuk mendukung keamanan nasional. Bencana merupakan salah satu bentuk ancaman non-militer dalam keamanan nasional. Dalam keamanan nasional, bencana sebagai salah satu tolak ukur bahwa negara tersebut aman atau tidak. Bencana sangat mengancam kehidupan sosial masyarakat yang berlaku yang pada akhirnya mengancam keamanan nasional suatu negara. Ancaman yang dirasakan penduduk Indonesia adalah semakin marak terjadinya kejadian bencana yang terjadi di hampir seluruh Indonesia. Kota Semarang yang merupakan ibu kota Provinsi Jawa Tengah memiliki ancaman berupa banjir. Banjir di Kota Semarang pada tahun 2017 - 2021. Mitigasi bencana adalah salah satu bentuk usaha pemerintah Kota Semarang guna mengurangi risiko bencana banjir. Salah satu bentuk mitigasi yang dilakukan pemerintah Kota Semarang adalah pembangunan sungai Banjir Kanal Barat dan juga sungai Banjir Kanal Timur. Dengan dibangunnya kedua sungai Banjir Kanal Timur dan Banjir Kanal Barat diharapkan dapat mengurangi bencana banjir yang terjadi di Kota Semarang. Pemerintah juga harus memperbaiki rencana kontinjensi terhadap bencana banjir supaya pemerintah tahu apa yang seharusnya dilakukan untuk menghadapi bencana banjir kedepannya melalui mitigasi.

Abstract

The study explores the impact of the Houthi group's missile and drone attacks on Israeli commercial ships in the Red Sea, focusing on the broader implications for regional stability, maritime and global trade security. The strategic position of the Red Sea as an important trade route connecting the Middle East with Asia and Europe has made it an important area of international attention, especially after the Houthi attacks in November 2023.  The research uses a qualitative approach, analysing data from a variety of sources including academic literature, official reports, and news articles. The findings highlight that the Houthi attacks have caused significant disruptions in maritime trade, with the capacity of container ships in the Red Sea decreasing by 80 percent as ships moved around Africa, resulting in higher costs and longer travel times.  In addition, the attacks have exacerbated regional tensions and required increased military patrols by international forces. The study concludes that the ongoing Houthi aggression poses a serious threat not only to regional stability but also to global trade and security, and calls for coordinated international efforts to mitigate this impact.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran pemerintah daerah dalam mengatasi konflik di desa mareje. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode Focus Group Discusion (FGD) bersama narasumber melalui aplikasi daring. Hasil penelitian menunjukan Konflik yang terjadi di Desa Mareje, Kecamatan Lembar, Kabupaten Lombok Barat, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat merupakan Konflik Sosial bukan Konflik SARA, tidak seperti yang beredar di Media, Pemerintah hadir dalam penanganan konflik di Mareje melalui FORKOPIMDA, FKUB, bersama Tokoh Adat dan Tokoh Masyarakat guna menangani Konflik Sosial yang terjadi dengan membentuk Balai Mediasi. Penanganan Konflik di Mareje mengesampingkan penyelesaian secara Hukum dan diselesaikan melalui pendekatan Adat Istiadat/ Kearifan Lokal Beberapa langkah mitigas dilakukan untuk mencegah terjadinya konflik lanjutan. Pemerintah mengumpulkan media massa untuk mengklarifikasi konflik yang terjadi bahwa bukan Konflik SARA sehingga mencegah semakin menyebarnya isu ini menjadi isu nasional.

Abstract

Antrian adalah bagian penting dari manajemen operasi antrian,antrian terjadi di sektor manufaktur dan sektor jasa. Antrian adalah orang atau barang yang berada dalam satu barisan yang menunggu untuk dilayani dan kemudian meninggalkan barisan setelah dilayani.penelitian ini berlanjut untuk menganalisis sistem antrian yang diterapkan dalam memberikan pelayanan yang lebih baik kepada pelanggan dengan menghitung jumlah rata rata jumlah kedatangan dan jumlah rata rata total waktu orang yang dilayani serta melakukan optimalisasi jumlah layanan yang beroperasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model antrian yang digunakan oleh toko Ssg adalah model antrian model Multi channel – Multi Phase dengan menerapkan disiplin antrian yaitu Firs Come – Firs Serve (FCFS). Laju kedatangan pelanggan pada hari sibuk dan jam sibuk adalah 20,69 pelanggan/jam. Model antrian yang sesuai pada loket pelayanan toko gawai adalah model antrian (M / M / 2): (GD//), akan tetapi pihak toko gawai harus mengubah jumlah pelayan pada tahap pengecekan HP yang semula dua orang pelayan menjadi tiga orang pelayan sehingga akan diperoleh rata-rata banyaknya pelanggan dalam antrian sebanyak 0,68 orang atau 1 orang dan rata-rata waktu yang diperlukan pelanggan berada dalam antrian selama 1,97 menit atau sekitar 2 menit. Kata Kunci : Layanan Toko, Sistem Antrian, FCFS, Toko Gawai

Abstract

Bengkalis Regency is located on the north coast of Riau Province, where the coastal area is very vulnerable to the threat of maritime disasters. Global warming can result in natural disasters, which means catastrophe on earth. Global warming causes an increase in the temperature of the earth's surface. This study aims to analyze the progress of the coastline and sea level rise that occurs and their impact on the degradation of Mangrove land on the north coast of Bengkalis Island, Riau Province. The research method used is the quantitative method through analysis of satellite images to map predictions of abrasion in the future. Data processing is carried out using satellite image data with different temporal, namely 1991, 2002, 2012, and 2021. Analysis of shoreline change predictions is carried out using the Digital Shorelines Analysis System Method. Utilization of GIS data can be used to map areas with the potential for abrasion, and make anticipatory measures against abrasion that may occur. In Bengkalis Regency itself, several efforts have been made by the local government, namely through mangrove planting programs, and increasing public awareness.

Abstract

This literature study aims to ascertain how employee performance is impacted by compensation, work environment, job satisfaction, and emotional intelligence. This research was conducted between 2020 and 2024. This research will be used to inform future studies in the field of human resource management. Relevant research is very important in research articles, which serves to strengthen the theory of relationships between variables. The objects in this study came from various employee fields, such as state-owned enterprise employees, bank employees, civil servants, and hospital employees. So, the results of research be able to provide input to all institutions, including public companies, private companies, government, and also state-owned enterprise on how to improve employee performance. This research uses quantitative and research with a survey method by giving questionnaires to respondent. Another research use with qualitative research with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that work environment, job satisfaction, and emotional intelligence have a directy and positively effect on employee performance. And also, compensation have directly and non-directly effect on employee performance.

Abstract

Work effectiveness and discipline affect organizational performance achievement. This study aims to determine and examine the effect of work effectiveness with Work Discipline on the performance goals of an organization. This research provides an overview and approach to the organization to optimize Standard Operating Procedures in work effectiveness and discipline in order to achieve the expected performance targets and output. The performance goals of an organization are the main indicator of the progress of an organization so that achievements and rewards are obtained. Meanwhile, downgrading and punishment can provide a warning that an organization is indicated to be not good. This research uses qualitative research methods. This research focuses on in-depth observation to understand the phenomena experienced by the research subject. The population in this study were all employees of the Ornamental Fish Cultivation Research Center. This study consisted of 60 employees. It is hoped that this research will produce a clear picture of the importance of effectiveness and work discipline in building a structured system and building solid cooperation. the results are expected, with discipline and work effectiveness, the goals in the service that have been set, will be achieved optimally and maximally. main performance target indicators achieved, giving a positive impression.

Abstract

This literature review aims to propose a hypothesis concerning the connections between factors for prospective studies in human resource management (HRM). The review focuses on organizational culture, HRM, leadership, and performance, presented as a scientific article in HRM. The study utilizes a descriptive qualitative approach, relying on data obtained from literature reviews and analyses of pertinent previous studies. The data is derived from previous research and academic sources, including Dinasti Publisher, Semantic Scholar, Google Scholar, and digital reference materials. Each independent variable is analyzed using at least one relevant article to ensure reliability. The findings indicate that organizational culture, HRM, and leadership play a crucial role in influencing performance. Positive organizational culture fosters collaboration and innovation, HRM aligns employee potential with organizational goals through effective recruitment, training, and management practices, while leadership inspires and empowers employees to achieve optimal performance. This research emphasizes the significance of incorporating organizational culture, HRM, and leadership to drive exceptional performance and offers insights into how these elements are interconnected in improving both individual and organizational results.

Abstract

A cross-cultural work culture within a multinational company plays a crucial role in determining employee effectiveness and productivity. Cultural diversity in the workplace can provide benefits in the form of innovation and work efficiency, but also presents communication challenges and differences in values and norms. This study aims to analyze the impact of cross-cultural work culture on employee productivity in multinational companies. Using a phenomenological qualitative approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews and participatory observation of employees working in a multicultural environment. The results showed that cultural diversity encourages creativity and team effectiveness, but also causes communication and adaptation barriers that affect individual performance. It was found that companies that implemented flexible management strategies and cross-cultural training programs were able to improve the effectiveness of employee communication and collaboration. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of management's role in managing cultural diversity in order to become a competitive advantage for the company.
