Abstract

 Based on Indonesian economy development lately, it could be said that fundamental macro economy stronger than before. This condition indicates that could be a basic for Indonesia to exit from IMF program. Because of this, if this policy can be reached and the microeconomics can be structured, the IMF exit strategy will not shock Indonesian economy. So it is important to build competitive advantage especially how to increase export, infestationand decrease imported goods. For long term, this policy prepares the opportunity to create a vocation, so the unemployment problems can be solved.

Abstract

The IMF established after World War II is a part of world society's effort to save the world from economic depression. Initially it had well-defined purposes. With the collapse of fixed exchange rate system in 1971, the IMF lost its original purposes. The institution then brings free market ideology. Fiscal Austerity, privatization and market liberalization are the three pillars of Washington Consensus advice to help countries facing economic problem. Washington Consensus, however, was designed originally to respond economic problem in Latin America where those countries have huge deficit and loose monetary policy. It is not surprise that these recipes cannot run well in the case of the East Asia Crisis. Indeed, the IMF's advice worsened the economic crisis of the regions and spread to other regions

Abstract

The author of article below declares that the main problem in Indonesia economy is not only exit strategy of IMF, but also because of EFF-IMF will end on December 31, 2003., and MPR decided to stop it based on Tap MPR No.VI year 2002. In this respect; it needs to think way how to repay debt from EFF-IMF. The following criteria that Indonesia still needs the trust of international market, Indonesia should grow self confident, and Indonesia can be an expectation in national and integrity of Indonesia. According to writer that Indonesia should consider to choose option cash payment be tween 5,4-8,4 billion US. Dollars to propose toward reforming IMF.

Abstract

The article below discusses the background that the failure of IMF role in overcoming economy crisis of Indonesia. Departing from the failure of IMF program implies other crisis, for instances social and political crisis. According to writer to solve the above problems, alternative solution needs to be solved and the steps that constitutes main way is should be conducted amendment toward IMF Agreement particularly article IX Section 2 (Hi). Section 3 and Section 8 (I) and Guidelines on Conditionality The amendment that makes the government of Indonesia sues IMF based on statutory obligation. Besides, it also needs to be refolmulated a new contract based on contractual obligation, and new international institution to solve debt of developing countries.

Abstract

The writer of the following article explains that Indonesia will end the IMF role at the end of this year. The exit strategy policy that will be conducted by Indonesia emerges debating between pros and conts. But the main problem that should be carry out in this context is how to prepare ways so IMF will not come. The economy crisis in Indonesia actually causes the failure in realizing process of Indonesia government. So the important ways that should be done, Indonesia needs good governance and clean government. In addition, indonesia actually will realize development as trusted by The Constitution 1945.

Abstract

International Monetary Fund (IMF) that built on December 31, 1945 until now has developed its member. The aim of IMF as written article 1 of articles agreement of international monetary fund. In long term development perspective, the changing of paradigm that guaranteed the justice. Indonesia has a rich natural resources but Indonesian can not expiore their natural resources. If Indonesian can explore their natural resources. Indonesia will become a welfare state without IMF. According to author of this writing that the principle of justice must become a main basic either in construct ing or decision of economy strategy in Indonesia in the future.

The following article investigates theglobalization as an actual topic that rises in recent ten years. Talking about the globalization in Indonesia intends to conduct amendment of article 33 of The Constitution 1945. The majority of the remember of Indonesian representatives state that refers to globalization, the article regarding economy must be abrogated. The author of this article tries to describe the substance between IMFand World Bank in actualizing the spirit of globalization bycarrying out amendment of the constitution that closed relating to Indonesia micro-economy development. There is a crucial problem when the amendment article 33 of the Indonesian Constitution will be applied.

Abstract

IMF Contract exit constitutes the best choice particularly in escaping the dependence of Indonesia from foreign intervention regarding economy policies. Thefund andnatural resources of Indonesia could be expected to pay Indonesia loan from IMF nowadays. In this sense, emotional attitude and narrow nationalism are not enough to avoid the negative Influence of IMF exit strategy. So, an anticipative step and radical policy should beconducted by Indonesian government tostopcorruption, collusion, and nepo tism practices strictly and consequently. Besides, ending IMF contract in Indonesia could be used for both modern sector and traditional sector. Traditional sector, it is clear that marginalized. The traditional sector indicates survival sector and cancreate a vocation.
