Abstract

The agricultural sector remains playing an important role in the Indonesian economy, in terms of contributing to Gross National Product and to employment generation. In year 2000, agricultural sector contributed 16.7% of the GDP and absorbed 45.3% of the labour force. However, Indonesia has not been able to develop agricultural sector to be self-sufficient for agricultural products. Indonesia is still dependent on import of rice, several kinds of fruits, meats and others. The other problem that Indonesia is facing today and in the future is that almost half of the farmers own less than 0.5 Ha of land, from which they hardly to have decent income. Therefore, the development of agro industries and household businesses is crucially important in order to increase the value of the agricultural products, to stimulate exports of the agricultural products, and to increase the households income.

Abstract

It is widely believed that the Democratization movements In Chekoslovakia, Poland, East Germany and Russia, have inspired a lot of Indonesian prodemocratic activists who are today still searching for a new paradigm of political movements through the consept of civil society. However, the Indonesian Intellectual society is still arguing about the consept; some experts view it from the perspective of Hegelian and Gramscian, some others perceive it from that Tocquevellian. Never theless, it should be noted that the consept relates to the historical and socio-political backgrounds of Indonesia in order to be more helpful for civil society formation.

Abstract

We have to find the prime causa that pushed us into the inside of the ugliest hell-crisis, the only way to find the way out. It could not be free market as it is only an accomplish; it could not be corruption as it was only an ugly effect. Only a Sufi Master can see the true prima causa of the holocaust: SCIENCE! There is only one way to go, for Indonesia and for the world, namely to trigger the Millennium Scientific Revolution: (i) Merging quantum and relativity physics into the expanded quantum theory to kill Schroedinger's Cat dead; (ii) open the Holy Quran and read the most precious thing hidden inside, Spiritual Intelligence of man! World crises shall finally evaporate to nothing, terrorism included! Not only terrorism of the weak against the strong, but also terrorism of the strong against the weak.

Abstract

As a worldwide actual issue, nowadays, the consept of civil society has been popular in a lot of countries, especially in Asia, in Latin America Military regihries, and in Europe. In Indonesia, the discussion of the subject has moved into substansial area involving the form of civil society that can be established. There are least three models of the concept: firstly, civil society is only an interim form, because it may be destructed," and in turn be demobilished by the power. Secondly, because the state is merely a manifestation of the civil society and the function of the state only to serve greedly persons, the state will be destroyed by the proletar revolution. Thirdly, civil society will be used by the hegemony holder, at the same will be used by the hegemony holder, but at the same time it will ethically function to educate people. Nevertheless, whatever the models, it should be an ethical society that progressively achieve a great civilization.

Pancasila economic system, is still become our economic paradigm, referring to chapter33 of amended constitution of1945. Koperasi (corporation) as the pillar for Pancasila economic system, still unable to answer economic challenges for the future. The unclear direction of economic development, actually is caused by the ignorance of people toward ideas which is relevant to be grown in the context of Pancasila economic system. With only catching the surface of this economic system, impossible for Indonesian people to think deeply and maturely toward this economic system itself. Thus, this is the real question which must be addressed in the future coming.
