Abstract

Language is part of humans since birth, one of which is English where the use of this language is widely used almost all over the world and has become an international language. In language, good and correct pronunciation of a word can affect the response that will be received by the listener. Pronunciation plays an important role in personal and social life. The purpose of this article is to find out what errors and difficulties are often experienced by students when pronouncing words in English. This study uses a qualitative method, to find the perceptions experienced by students towards errors and difficulties in pronouncing words which will then be described based on the results found. Data was collected through questionnaires and interviews which have been calculated and analyzed. The results show that many students experience errors in the pronunciation of English words due to the lack of student activities in listening such as listening to podcasts, movies, music from native speakers, and the differences in accents that students have with native speakers, and also students experience errors and difficulties in pronouncing words because there are words that sound almost the same but actually are not therefore students have difficulty distinguishing them.

Abstract

Education is a right for all citizens without discrimination. Everyone has the right to a decent living, including children with special needs. However, education in our country still underestimates the presence of children with disabilities. Many educational institutions refuse to accept children with special needs (ABK). In line with Dewey's thoughts, a Western pragmatic philosopher said that every boy and girl has the same right to get a decent education. Strengthened State law article 31 paragraph 1 concerning the right of all citizens to receive education. This research aims to analyze the relevance of Dewey's thoughts to inclusive education and to educate readers that children with special needs also have the right to receive adequate education. This research uses a library study method by collecting various information through journals, books, newspapers, and other media. The results of this research show the relevance of John Dewey's thinking to inclusive education

Abstract

The Umayyad Dynasty was a dynasty based in Damascus which was formed after the end of the Shiffin field. The Umayyad Daulah was founded by someone named Muawiyah Bin Abi Sufyan and originated in 41H/661M. He was governor during the reign of Umar bin Khattab and Usman Bin Affan. When he was still governor, he was already a military reserve which would allow him to maintain his position in the future. This includes the time when he was governor of the Umayyads, where his greatest contribution was in the fields of politics and government. This method uses a method library approach. This article aims to explain the history of the Umayyad Dynasty, starting from the period in which the Umayyad Dynasty was formed, ending with the period of progress and ending with the period of decline of the Umayyad Dynasty, so that everyone, including scholars, can understand and increase knowledge about the history of the Umayyá dynasty from formation time to the end. The method used is called bibliography, and refers to several conceptual summaries.

Abstract

These studies each explore important aspects of the relationship between adolescents, their emotions, behavior, and environments. The first study highlighted the negative impact of playing esports games on teenagers' emotions and learning achievement. The second study showed a negative relationship between emotional maturity and aggressive behavior in vocational school students. The third study emphasizes the significant relationship between emotional stability and self-control in junior high school students. The fourth study revealed the negative impact of verbal violence perpetrated by parents on children, including emotional disturbances, increased aggression, and damage to children's self-concept. The fifth research aims to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and juvenile delinquency among students at Sudirman Islamic Vocational School, West Ungaran District, Semarang Regency. Finally, the sixth research aims to analyze the influence of economic pressure and parent-adolescent interactions on the social emotional development of adolescents in families living in Rusunawa West Jatinegara. All of this research provides a deeper understanding of these issues and the importance of a thoughtful approach to educating and understanding adolescents.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the form of cooperation attitude in montage art activities. This type of research is qualitative research. This research was conducted at SDN Karangrejo, Jakenan District, Pati Regency, Central Java Province on Saturday, 11 November 2023. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interview, and documentation. The informants in the data collection article are class IV students. Qualitative data analysis is inductive analysis, namely analysis based on data obtained during data collection. In other words, researchers use descriptive analysis techniques. Data analysis techniques in this study include: (1) Data collection from observations and interviews (2) Data reduction (data reduction) (3) Data verification (conclusion drawing/verification) drawing conclusions. The results of this study are the activities of montage art work there is a form of student cooperation during the process of making montage artworks including when dividing jobdesk, cutting objects, sticking, and colouring the blank media parts. The cooperation was carried out to speed up the time of montage work obtained based on aspects of coordinating skills, responsibility and contribution, communication, productivity.
