JRFES scopes are the result of research on physics research and physics education. JRFES is focused on publishing original research results that have not been published anywhere. Issues published by JRFES cover the areas of education namely planning, implementation, and evaluation of Education and the field of physics. This journal publishes original articles on the latest issues and trends occurring internationally in science curriculum, instruction, learning, policy, and preparation of science teachers with the aim to advance our knowledge of science education theory and practice. Moreover, this journal also covers the issues concerned with environmental education & environmental science. Abstract

One of the obligations of lecturers on the education element is to develop creative and innovative learning tools so that students learn optimally and have a positive character. The learning tool that lecturers need to have is teaching material. The teaching materials currently available on the STKIP Adzkia campus are not yet relevant to the Adzkia STKIP vision, which is "to become a strong, cultured and Islamic institution in Sumatera in 2025". One of the teaching materials that can be developed to achieve the vision of STKIP Adzkia is by developing an integrated module of Qur'anic verse values. If the lecturer is able to develop an integrated module of the values of the verses of the Koran, then this will transform students into more faithful people and be devoted to God Almighty and have character and noble character. The purpose of this study is to develop a general integrated physics module in valid Qur'anic verse values. This type of research is research and development (research and development / r & d). The module validation results have an average value of 94, meaning the module very valid. Keywords :Validity, Module, General Physics, Values, Qur'anic  Verse.AbstrakSalah satu kewajiban dosen pada unsur pendidikan adalah mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran yang kreatif dan inovatif agar mahasiswa belajar secara optimal dan memiliki karakter yang positif. Perangkat pembelajaran yang perlu dimiliki dosen adalah bahan ajar. Bahan ajar yang tersedia saat ini di kampus STKIP Adzkia belum relevan dengan visi STKIP Adzkia, yaitu “menjadi institusi yang kokoh, berbudaya dan islami di Sumatera tahun 2025”. Salah satu bahan ajar yang dapat dikembangkan untuk mencapai visi STKIP Adzkia adalah dengan mengembangkan modul terintegrasi nilai-nilai ayat Alquran. Apabila dosen mampu mengembangkan modul terintegrasi nilai-nilai ayat Alquran, maka hal tersebut akan mentrasnformasikan mahasiswa menjadi insan yang lebih beriman dan bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa serta berkarakter dan berakhlak mulia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan modul fiska umum terintegrasi nilai-nilai ayat Alquran yang valid. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development/ r&d). Hasil validasi modul memiliki nilai rata-rata 94, artinya  modul sangat valid. Kata kunci :Validitas,  Modul, Fisika Umum, Nilai-nilai, Ayat Alquran.

Abstract

Background of this research is the use of learning model that used by the teacher, it was not interest for the learners. Physics learning process was not able yet became interest the learners until learners’ achievement at XI  MIPA SMAN 12 Padang was not optimum yet. Purpose of this research is to know learners’ physics achievement by using cooperative model timed pair share type better than learners’ physics achievement by using scientifc approach at XI MIPA SMA N 12 Padang. Kinds of this research is quasi experiment with posttest only control design. Population of this research is all of learners at XI MIPA SMA N 12 Padang, they were 5 classes. Tecnique of sample collection is cluster random sampling, which is sample has grouped and selected two classes randomly. They were experiment class dan control class. Instrument that used in this research was essay test and observation. Based on result of data analysis, thus it got the average cognitive value in experiment class = 81,75 and control class = 77,54, afektive value in experiment class = 58,95 and control class = 55,39. Both of classes contributed normal and homogen in real level = 0,05. Statistic test that used is uji-t one side. Based on result of calculation, it got th = 1,73  with ttabel = 1,66, because th > ttabel , thus H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that hypothesis of this research is accepted, students’ physic achievement by using cooperative model timed pair share type better than learners’ physics achievement by using scientifc approach at XI MIPA SMA N 12 Padang.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is an experimental research with Pretest-Posstest Comparison Group Design. Research conducted at SMA Negeri 7 Kupang for class XI MIA. The purpose of this research was (1) to determine the differences of student’s physics problem solving abilities between those who taught using Guided Inquiry learning model with those who taught using problem based learning model. This research also (2) aim to find out whether the physics problem solving abilities of students taught using the Guided Inquiry learning model are higher than those students who taught using problem based learning model. Population of this research is all class XI MIA of SMA Negeri 7 Kupang, with simple random technique as sampling method. Student’s problem solving abilities datas obtained from the instrument use essay questions pre-test and post-test.The results showed that: 1) There are significant differences in students' physics problem solving abilities between students taught using the Guided Inquiry learning model 2) Physics problem solving abilities of students taught using the Guided Inquiry learning model were higher than students who were taught using Problem Based Learning learning models Keywords: Guided Inquiry Model, Problem Based Learning Model, Problem Solving Ability   ABSTRAK  Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Pretest-Posttest Comparison Group Design yang dilakukan di kelas XI MIA SMA Negeri 7 Kupang pada tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk mengetahui adanya perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Guided Inquiry dengan siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning, serta (2) untuk mengetahui apakah kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Guided Inquiry lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas XI MIA SMA Negeri 7 Kupang, dengan pengambilan sampel yang dilakukan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Data kemampuan pemecahan masalah diperoleh dari instrumen soal essay pre-test dan post-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa; 1) Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika siswa yang signifikan antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Guided Inquiry dengan siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning 2) kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Guided Inquiry lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning yang. Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Guided Inquiry, Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning, Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari Model Pembelajaran ARIAS Menggunakan Media Interactive Simulations PhET terhadap Pemahaman Konsep dan Minat Belajar Siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 8 Palembang. Penelitian ini dengan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain post-test only contol group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X  yang terdiri dari 6 kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling, dan mengambil 2 kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Pengambilan data  menggunakan instrumen tes pemahaman konsep dan angket minat. Perolehan hasil uji-t yaitu thitung = 3,957 > ttabel = 1,664 dengan  = 0,05; yang artinya ada pengaruh yang signifikan Model Pembalelajaran ARIAS menggunakan Media Interactive Simulations PhET terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Siswa. Dan Hasil uji-t didapat thitung = 4,842 > ttabel = 1,664 dengan  = 0,05; yang artinya ada pengaruh yang signifikan Model Pembalelajaran ARIAS menggunakan Media Interactive Simulations PhET terhadap Minat Belajar Siswa. Kesimpulannya bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajara ARIAS menggunakan media interactive simulations PhET terhadap pemahaman konsep dan minat belajar dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensional.Kata kunci: ARIAS, Media Interactive Simulations PhET, Pemahaman Konsep, Minat Belajar

Abstract

Thermocouple sensor loop test is performed to ensure the good condition of the sensor. For this reason, a thermocouple sensor loop test is performed using Jofra calibrator to avoid the sensor failing. Prepared Jofra temperature calibrator, set the temperature at Jofra according to the temperature range to be measured. At the voltage gauge (Fluke) set on the Der.C measure, the measuring probe is connected to the thermocouple in the position between the wires (+ and -) to measure the mV value or the temperature of Der.C. Then the sensor is inserted at the test point or location of the heater on the Jofra calibrator. 5 temperature inputs were carried out on the type K thermocouple loop test. The temperature of the K type thermocouple sensor can be used if the results of all the output temperatures on Jofra do not exceed the 5 ° C fair range, 4 temperature outputs are obtained where the sensitivity exceeds the 5 ° C reasonable limit, so the thermocouple sensor type K tested cannot be reused. Keywords:Sensor, Test Loop, Thermocouple  K,Temperature.
