Abstract

The series of religious ceremonies certainly cannot be separated from the performance of the Pajegan mask dance, this dance presents a series of stories with different characters, where this dance is played by a man, playing the role of several characters in the story which are identical to the changing of masks in the story being staged. The appearance with the changes can be seen from the expression with changes in character and voice accompanied by dance movements that adapt to the role being performed. This dance is a wewali dance that is used as a complement to the religious gathering ceremony in Bali which is often known as the Pajegan Mask. The characters and shapes of the masks have different meanings and provide an inculcation of religious values and values about education in Hinduism

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of Visual Auditory Kinesthetic by Audio Visual Media toward the competence knowledge of science students grade 4 on SDN 2 Ubung. This type of research is quasy experiment with research plan Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The research population is all of Grade 4 students on SDN 2 Ubung districts east Denpasar in academic year 2021/2022. With total population 359 students. The total sample in this research was 86 students,48 students in grade 4A from SDN 2 Ubung whieh became the experiment group and 38 students’ grade 4B from SDN 2 Ubung became control group. Sample selection in this research was using random sampling technique. The students know ledge competence data was collected by using test method which then analyzes t-test. Based on t-test result with freedom degree (dk 84) and on the significance 5% got t.count 3,259 >t.table 2,000so, Who refused and Ha accepted which means there is differences of the group student which were given the study through Viusal Auditory Kinesthetic Learning Model assisted by Audio Visual Media to the 4 grade students on SDN 2 Ubung east Denpasar district on academic year 2021/2022. The result of this research shows that the average value on  the experimental group is higher than the average value on the control group (84,13> 76,08) Therefore, the Viusal Auditory Kinesthetic Learning Model assisted by Audio Media affected towards the agama Hindu competency of the 4 grade students on  SDN 2 Ubung east Denpasar district in academic year 2021/2022.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused tremendous fear for the world community, including Indonesia. One of the impacts of this Covid-19 is education in Indonesia . Since the Lock Down policy was implemented, all students had carried out online learning activities from home, of course, affecting students' understanding of religion, especially old literary or literary works. For the Balinese lontaris considered a library that stores sacred religious teachings, besides that it is used as a tool or media to convey the teachings of Hinduism. Lontar is a classic literary work that contains ethical, aesthetic and religious aspects. Lontar Cakragni is a lontar which describes the problem of disease and treatment. In the Lontar Cakragni, it is described about the disease, how to cure it, the offerings are used. The method of determining informants using porvosive sampling. The educational values ​​that can be studied are the Value of Tattwa Education (Philosophy) in Lontar Cakragni, The Value of Ethical Education in Lontar Cakragni, Value of Ritual Education in Lontar Cakragni, Lontar Cakragni is one of the Tattwa lontars from the many lontars in Bali in the form of Speech. , The value of tattwa education and the value of ethical education. The value of tattwa education emphasizes more on the strength that arises from several elements in the human body, which later from the power that arises as a result of some of these elements of power can lead a person to spiritual ability and be able to bring someone to the attainment of deliverance

Abstract

This study aims to determine, (1) the history of the establishment of the Bukit Durga Kutri Temple in Buruan Village, Blahbatuh, Gianyar (2) The position of the Bukit Durga Kutri Temple in Buruan Village, Blahbatuh, Gianyar, Bali, (3) The function of the Bukit Durga Kutri Temple in terms of from the perspective of Hinduism. This study uses a qualitative approach. The theories used in this study are: 1) Structural Functional Theory, 2) Social Systems Theory, 3) Symbol Theory. Informants were selected using the snowball technique. Data collection was carried out by observation, structured interviews, documentation, and literature study. Data analysis techniques are carried out through a process of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions, and the last stage is the presentation of research results. The results of the study show that the history of the establishment of the Bukit Durga Kutri Temple in Buruan Village is closely related to the arrival of King Udayana's consort named Ratu Gunapriyadharpatni from Java. Referring to the educational function of a temple, Bukit Durga Kutri Temple has enormous potential as a learning resource that can be used especially in learning the history of the development of Hinduism in Bali. Pura Bukit Durga Kutri has quite a lot of remains in the form of statues. Seeing from the existence of a Buddha statue in a temple in Bali, we can analyze that the life of people of different religions in the past lived side by side and could respect one another.

Abstract

The island of Bali is imbued with Hinduism, making the existing culture very unique. Values ​​in the teachings of Hinduism are a source of existing cultural values, so that Balinese culture is religious. The holy holidays of Hinduism in Bali contain a deep meaning for the life of the Hindu community in Bali. One of these holy days is the Tumpek Kandang holy day. The issues discussed include Efforts to Harmonize Nature through Fauna Preservation and the Role of the Tumpek Kandang Ceremony as a Media for Hindu Education. This type of research is a qualitative research with library methods. After the data is collected, it will be analyzed by reducing, presenting, and drawing conclusions or verifying. The results of this study include, (1) Preserving animals through the Tumpek Kandang Ceremony has a good impact on the harmony of the universe and balancing Bhuwana Agung and Bhuwana Alit (2) Through the implementation of the Tumpek Kandang holy day as well as providing education for Hindus, especially in Bali, about the greatness of God who being everywhere or being in every place (Wyapi-Wyapaka), especially the god who animates animals with the title Sang Hyang Rare Anggon.

Abstract

In the course of Tantra found traces of learning from very ancient times. Of course, the journey is accompanied by success and failure. This dynamic process has made Tantra still have loyal adherents to this day. Apart from showing maturity, the Tantric method also displays natural honesty. Every human being needs a natural way of learning. Because education that is too artificial seems to lead individuals to dehumanization. In forming a complete human being, the most primary education is needed. This study aims to describe the advantages of Tantric educational values ​​which are often misinterpreted. This research used qualitative approach which literature as a basis for descriptions and narratives to get meaning. The results of the study, primary education in Tantra seeks to achieve holisticity, serve gender determinism, anticipate future chaos, and interpret masculine and feminism aspects as strengths. The conclusion of this study is that the scope of Tantric education is much wider than the scope of modern education which only includes the family education

Abstract

Freedom to learn is a new education policy in Indonesia that requires a big change for the better than the previous education. Freedom to learn is present as an instrument that was born from the merger of educational theory and previous policies. Freedom to learn and the educational philosophy of progressivism have the same goal, namely to provide a wide space for students, teachers, and also educational institutions to design a series of learning that is liberating, democratic, independent, and also free to innovate. This study uses a qualitative method with a philosophical hermeneutic approach and uses Miles and Huberman's data analysis patterns. The results of this study are the educational philosophy of progressivism emphasizes that students must develop naturally, experience is the key word in motivating children's learning, teachers act as facilitators in learning, and the curriculum must be designed student-centred. The concept of independent learning in principle provides a wide space for exploring the greatest potential for teachers and students to innovate and improve the quality of learning independently. Then the application of freedom to learn in Hindu religious learning is to provide space for students, teachers, and schools to always are free in thinking, free to innovate, and independent in creativity so that the concept of education that relies on "sa vidya ya vimuktaye" or learning is what liberating humanity can be achieved.

Abstract

Moderation is not a rigid, passive, static attitude. Moderation is an attitude that is not excessive in dealing with the problems of difference in a pluralistic society. Moderate attitude is active and dynamic with noble ideals, namely social change in a positive, fair, and balanced direction. Practicing religious teachings needs to consider the principles of moderation and local wisdom as an effort to avoid deviations from religious teachings. This study aims to describe the religious moderation attitude of the Hindu community in the transmigrant area based on local wisdom in Landono District, Southeast Sulawesi Province. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with observation and interview techniques and literature study. The results of this study indicate that the attitude of religious moderation based on local wisdom is implemented by transmigrant Hindus in the Landono sub-district of Southeast Sulawesi where even though they are far from the island of Bali and become immigrant communities and become communities with minority religions in the province, they can live side by side peacefully with practice the teachings of Susila, Tat Twam Asi and Tri Hita Karana with the concept of menyama braya, namely respecting differences and placing others as family. The attitude of religious moderation can have positive implications for the transmigrant Hindu community in forming religious awareness in carrying out the teachings of Hinduism as a way to build a harmonious life

Abstract

Tri Parartha is a doctrine in Hinduism, and Hindus believe that following it can help them live rich and pleasant lives. There are three components of Tri Parrtha: Asih, Punia, and Bhakti. Hindus must put the Tri Parrtha's teachings into practice in order to live peaceful lives. Living in harmony with one another is an example of a communal action that leads to happiness. The goal of this study is to inform the local community about the significance of the Tri Parrtha Teachings in the lives of Hindus in the Buleleng Traditional Village. Researchers employed a qualitative descriptive analytic approach to gather data for this study using techniques including observation, interviews for library research, documentation, and document analysis. The results of the study show 1) the form of interaction carried out by Hindus in the Buleleng Traditional Village uses a form of associative interaction, namely interaction that leads to the unification between individuals, individual groups and between groups. 2) the implementation of Tri Parārtha's teachings, namely in the form of selfless devotion is the concept of compassion, then realizing it in the form of sharing in the form of property (material) as well as providing labor sincerely is the concept of having (punia) teachings, the implementation of the teachings of bhakti is an attitude of respect by respecting elders, devotion to Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa by worshiping or praying. 3) the implications of the implementation of the Tri Parārtha teachings in the life of Hindus in the Buleleng Traditional Village, namely the spontaneous increase in the attitude of compassion, affection and devotion possessed by Hindus to create harmony, then the nature of giving or giving without strings attached materially or in the contribution of energy appears. , the form of devotion is carried out not only devotion to God but the manifestation of devotion to others will also always create a harmonious life

Abstract

Advances in science and technology in the 21st century mean that environmental changes that affect education will be increasingly dominant. In other words, personality development and formation require exemplary development to be inherited, carried out, and strengthened consistently, and accompanied by noble values, through a continuous process of learning, training, and long-term habituation. Therefore, Hindu education can be a normative means to educate the entire personality of modern learners through local wisdom that motivates children. An important education that emerges from the interweaving of elements of Hindu religious education and cultural learning is that Hindu religious education is not rigid to change, just as there is no education and culture that does not change. Hindu religious education is also directed to build the personal mental qualities of students who are intelligent, skilled and have a religious attitude, are sensitive to changes in behavior in society, commitment to the values and principles of living harmoniously and creatively in a pluralistic society, caring for the environment and working in accordance with their swadarma
