Abstract

In the world of construction, concrete has a very important function as the main material due to its role in maintaining the strength and stability of the structure. This study aims to evaluate the effect of coarse aggregate size variations on the compressive strength of concrete and determine the most suitable size for use. The use of coarse aggregates is focused on granules that are retained on 3/4-inch and 3/8-inch sieves. The results showed that concrete with coarse aggregate retained in a 3/8 inch sieve had a higher compressive strength than 3/4 inch aggregate. At 3 days of age, the average compressive strength value reached 12,078 MPa for 3/8 inch coarse aggregate and 10,587 MPa for 3/4 inch aggregate. This difference continued at the 28-day lifetime compressive strength (the result of the 1971 PBI conversion), which was with an average value of 30,296 MPa for a 3/8 inch aggregate and 26,469 MPa for a 3/4 inch aggregate. This difference is due to a tighter distribution of patricles, reduced pore volume, and more optimal bonding of cement paste and aggregate. Therefore, the selection of coarse aggregate sizes needs to be adjusted to the purpose of construction.

Abstract

This study provides a sociological analysis of the authorship of Mawlid Shifā’u al-Ṣudūr by Hadratus Syekh Arifin bin Ali bin Hasan, a local scholar without formal literary training. The research aims to explore how his social status, ideology, and target community influenced the creation of this significant work. Using a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical design, the study examines the Mawlid Shifā’u al-Ṣudūr as its sample from the population of all Indonesian kitab mawlid. The researcher, acting as the main instrument, employed content and document analysis to systematically link the author's biographical and social context with the text's content. The findings indicate that the work is a product of a unique interplay between the author's ascribed, achieved, and assigned statuses, his mystical spiritual journey, and his adherence to the Nūr Muhammad concept. The study concludes that the book served as a tool for da'wah and identity formation, with its bilingual format specifically tailored for a community with low Arabic literacy. The findings are limited to this case, and further comparative research is suggested.

Abstract

The This research aims to analyze public sentiment toward the free meal program by utilizing the Naive Bayes Classifier (NBC) algorithm. The background of this research is based on the high public interaction on social media regarding this policy, thus requiring an analysis method that can effectively classify opinions into positive and negative sentiments. Data was collected from public posts on social media, followed by a text preprocessing stage, including data cleaning, tokenizing, stopword removal, and stemming. After that, the data was analyzed using the NBC algorithm to obtain sentiment classification. The research results show that the NBC model is capable of performing sentiment classification with an accuracy of 72%, precision of 84%, recall of 72%, and f-measure of 72%. These findings indicate that the majority of public opinion tends to be positive towards the free meal program, although there are still some negative opinions highlighting weaknesses in the policy's implementation. Overall, this research contributes by providing an objective picture of public perception through a machine learning approach. Moreover, this study proves that the NBC algorithm can be effectively used to analyze public opinion regarding government policies. Therefore, the results of this research are expected to serve as a reference in decision-making and policy evaluation in the future.

Abstract

Electric motorcycles have emerged as an alternative to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and support environmentally friendly transportation. In Indonesia, the local brand Polytron has introduced several electric motorcycle products at affordable prices. However, public responses remain varied, influenced by price, infrastructure, and awareness. This study aims to analyze public enthusiasm for Polytron electric motorcycles using the Naïve Bayes Classifier (NBC), which has been proven effective in text classification [1]. A dataset of 1000 comments was collected from social media platform X through web crawling. The preprocessing included case folding, cleaning, tokenizing, normalization, stopword removal, and stemming[2]. Sentiment labeling was conducted using the InSetLexicon, and TF-IDF weighting was applied before classification in Python using Google Colab [3]. The results indicated that most public opinions expressed positive sentiment, highlighting benefits such as cost savings and environmental friendliness [4]. Negative sentiments focused on limited charging infrastructure and higher purchase prices. The Naïve Bayes model achieved reliable performance, confirming its suitability for Indonesian sentiment analysis tasks [5]. This study contributes to understanding public perception of local electric vehicles and provides useful insights for policymakers and manufacturers in promoting sustainable transportation.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has had a significant impact on various industries, including the retail sector. However, Atika Store still relies on manual methods in managing its cashier and inventory, leading to inaccuracy, inefficiency, and poor control over stock and sales reports. To address these issues, this study employs an applied research method aimed at producing practical solutions that can be directly implemented. A web-based application is developed using the Waterfall system development method, which consists of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system integrates sales, inventory management, and cashier functions into a single platform. Key features include automatic receipt printing, sales transaction recording, real-time stock updates, and role-based user access. It is expected that this system will help MSME owners improve operational productivity, minimize manual errors, and support more effective decision-making.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the implementation of the authority of the Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja (Satpol PP) of Kampar District in enforcing Kampar District Regulation Number 8 of 2017 concerning Public Order and Tranquility in relation to the circulation of alcoholic beverages (tuak), as well as to identify the factors that hinder its implementation. This research uses a juridical-empirical research method with an administrative law approach, where data is collected through field studies and literature reviews. The research findings indicate that the Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja of Kampar District has carried out its functions and authority in enforcing this regulation through activities such as law enforcement, socialization, and actions against violations related to the circulation of tuak. However, in practice, there are still several obstacles, including limited human resources and infrastructure, low public awareness, and weak coordination between relevant agencies. From an administrative law perspective, the law enforcement practices carried out by Satpol PP Kampar have complied with the principles of  bestuur recht  or good governance law, although its effectiveness needs to be improved through stronger technical regulations, enhanced capacity of officials, and increased community participation in supporting the enforcement of the District Regulation.

Abstract

Records management is a crucial component of contemporary information governance, particularly for government agencies responsible for the storage, preservation, and accessibility of daily operational documents. The SRIKANDI application has been adopted by various agencies in Indonesia, at both the central and regional levels, and offers significant technical and managerial benefits to the Ministry of Health. This study employs a qualitative approach based on a literature review and analysis of the Problem Inventory List (DIM) Letters sent by the Ministry of Health to archives authorities. The analysis shows that the system's trouble ticket tracking mechanism enables a structured, continuous improvement process, with the entire handling cycle—from ticket creation, allocation, follow-up, and closure—systematically documented. Furthermore, the advanced reporting functionality of the ticket platform allows quantitative monitoring of the number of incoming tickets, average resolution time, and Service Level Agreement (SLA) violations, thereby enhancing transparency, accountability, and effectiveness of records management within the government. These findings recommend the integration of monitoring into key managerial policies.
