Abstract

The rapid advancement of Virtual Reality (VR) technology has spurred demand for high-quality VR content, but its development remains time-consuming and costly. Smarteye.id, an Indonesian tech start-up backed by Telkom Indonesia, addresses this challenge with Seville, a VR plugin designed to streamline content creation. With global VR adoption on the rise, Smarteye.id aims to expand Seville internationally. However, this expansion faces challenges such as fierce competition, varying consumer preferences, and product localization constraints. This study applies the Ansoff Matrix to identify potential strategies for global market entry, from new product development to market penetration. Findings suggest that a product development strategy offers a comprehensive approach to accelerating Smarteye.id's growth. The research contributes to strategic management and technology marketing fields.

Abstract

Jaya Usaha Sempurna Producer Cooperative located in Mega Timur Village, Sungai Ambawang Sub-district, Kubu Raya District, West Kalimantan, is seeking Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) certification to improve the competitiveness and sustainability of their oil palm plantation. This study aims to analyze the economic impact of the presence of oil palm plantations towards ISPO certification, as well as its influence on the welfare of farmers, cooperative members, and the surrounding community. The method used is a qualitative approach with direct observation and in-depth interviews with farmers and cooperative members. The results show that ISPO certification provides an increase in farmers' income through better selling prices, and encourages sustainability in oil palm plantation practices. However, challenges such as certification costs and farmers' understanding of ISPO principles need to be addressed to achieve optimal results.

Abstract

This study aims to control defect rates in the production process of Asinan and Rujak Ciamix, a product of a micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME), using control chart methods supported by POM-QM software. Primary data were collected from production volumes and defect occurrences during the production process in November 2024. The analysis revealed that the defect rate remained within control limits, despite the occurrence of defects such as overly sour taste, hard texture, and burnt sugar. The implementation of control charts facilitated real-time monitoring of the production process, enhanced operational efficiency, and supported accurate data-driven decision-making. This study demonstrates that integrating control chart methods with POM-QM software can assist MSMEs in maintaining process stability, minimizing product defects, and improving quality consistency to meet customer expectations. The findings underscore the potential of this approach to enhance quality management practices in MSME production processes.

Abstract

This study examines the trust of market participants by analysing the dynamics of transaction value as an indicator of the perception of changes in foreign and local ownership. This study discusses the difference in impact between institutional and individual ownership. This study involves five variables where transaction value is the dependent variable and foreign ownership and local ownership are the independent variables. We also reduce the independent variables into institutional (corporate) and individual forms, respectively. The results show that all independent variables have a significant impact on transaction value but only individual local ownership has a negative direction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of investment knowledge, minimum investment capital, and investment risk on student interest in stock investment in the Indonesian capital market, with a case study of students in Semarang City. This research uses a quantitative approach with data collection through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents consisting of students in Semarang City using purposive sampling technique. The research instrument was tested using validity and reliability tests, while the data analysis technique used the classical assumption test, multiple regression analysis, F test, and t test (partial). The results of this study show partially that investment knowledge has no significant effect on investment interest, while investment capital and investment risk have a significant influence on student investment interest in the capital market. These findings provide valuable insights for educational institutions, the government, and the capital market industry in designing educational programs that can increase interest in stock investment among the younger generation.

Abstract

Operational efficiency in Islamic Higher Education Institutions (IHEIs) requires the integration of technology that is aligned with local wisdom and Islamic values. This study, framed by Contingency Theory, aims to identify adaptive integrative strategies for institutional contexts. A qualitative case study was conducted on four IHEIs in Indonesia, selected based on geographical variation and institutional accreditation status. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 16 key informants (institutional leaders, heads of IT units, and faculty members), as well as analysis of 24 institutional policy documents and strategic plans. Thematic analysis was used to identify patterns of technology integration with Islamic values and local culture. The results show that the effectiveness of integration depends on the contextual conditions of each institution. For example, one institution integrated a digital learning management system with character-building modules based on Islamic boarding school values, while another institution adapted its digital platforms to the structure of the local traditional organization. Theoretical implications suggest the need for contingency-based managerial flexibility in Islamic education governance. Practical implications point to the importance of developing technology policies that are responsive to the religious and cultural values of institutions. This study confirms that the success of digital transformation in IHEIs is not solely determined by technological capacity, but by the institution's ability to adapt strategies to its socio-cultural and spiritual context.
