Abstract

The process of classification of web pages has problems in the selection of relevant features that affect the acquisition of value accuracy. These problems can be handled using feature selection techniques. Feature selection method works by evaluating and selecting relevant and informative features of each web page document. Features are a token or informative words that often appear on web pages. In this study, the method used is the genetic algorithm and decision tree incorporated in the wrapper technique. Genetic algorithms are used as subset selection and decision tree as attribute evaluators. The proposed method is able to reduce features by 45.39% for the WebKB dataset and 56.71% for the r8 dataset. Overall, the results of the classification process increased although not too significant.

Abstract

Energy is a very important requirement because all activities require energy. Energy sources have been found to meet human needs. Energy sources are divided into 2, which can be updated and cannot be updated. Energy sources that can be updated are solar energy, mechanical energy (hydropower, wind power), and others. Energy sources that cannot be renewed are natural gas energy, coal energy, nuclear, and others. In general, the Atmega16 Microcontroller-Based Solar Tracking System is designed using. ATmega16 Microcontroller, Solar Cell, REED SWITCH Sensor, LDR Sensor, LCD, LED. The microcontroller accepts input from the solar cell, LDR sensor and REED SWITCH sensor, then performs data processing and provides LCD output as a display, LED as an indication of light and power window motor as a solar cell panel drive. This tool serves to increase the efficiency of the solar cell. This tool is made in 1 year. This tool works by following the direction of sunlight. In the presence of sunlight this system will light up. This tool will not stop working while still getting energy from sunlight.

Abstract

The property of even-even Ca isotope, and N = 20 isoione are studied within the Relativistic Mean Field lheory {RMF). To describe nucleons behaviour, in this model, the field intemctions between mesons and nucleons ere used. The proton density (pp), neutron density (o«), binding energies (Eb), two neutron or proton separation energies {S2n/S2p), potential central (Ve), surfacethickness (t«) are calculated, respectively. In this paper, we will discuss mainly the density, and the binding energy level of protons/ neutrons in the Isotope Ca-20 and Isototi N = 20

Abstract

Teachers play an important role in understanding the characteristics of their students, this is a reason for teachers to better recognize the interests and talents of their students so that interest can be directed and guided so that they can develop. Today many children have talents but do not get the support and encouragement in their schools, so many children are in fact considered learning disabled because their unique thinking patterns cannot be accommodated by schools (Susanto, 2005). This is the main problem in the Tarbiyatul Athfal Kindergarten (TK) 39 Semarang, because the teachers have difficulty in determining the interests and talents of their students because they have not been supported by the application of computerized decision support systems and methods. Therefore in this study proposed Decision Support application for multiple intelligence type tests for kindergarten-aged children using the web-based Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method that can help facilitate the teacher in knowing the interests and talents of her students. The SAW method has the advantages of being easy to understand, more flexible, able to solve complex problems and conduct learning based on human knowledge and experience in solving problems. The SAW method or better known as the weighted sum. To answer the question, the researcher uses a Likert scale to facilitate conclusions.

Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive multimedia learning products based on adobe flash CS 6 for electronics courses. Indonesia is a large country that has a very large population. The need for advanced technology is needed to assist the search for knowledge.One of the technologies used in teaching and learning systems is to use interactive multimedia using adobe flash CS 6. The method used in this research is the research and development method of Rapid Application Development (RAD). In Rapid Application Development (RAD) research model. which consists of 4 stages: (1) Requirement Planning, (2) Planning of Pseudo-Class Usage, (3) Construction of Pseudo Class (Construction), (4) Evaluation (Cut Over). The result of the research is interactive multimedia learning media using adobe flash CS 6 for electronics subject which can be reached by learners. This media can be used by learners and teachers to more interesting learners learn electronics.

Abstract

Progress of a business activity, especially in the field of finance at educational institutions, can be seen from the financial statements of educational institutions. Financial information in the world of education also plays an important role in addition to the quality or quality of education produced in an educational institution itself. To know the condition of an institution's treasures or finances, it is necessary to make periodic financial reports. This research has purpose to develop information system of student payment by using prototype model and also implement information system of student payment at SMK Mandala Bhakti Surakarta. The description of the research that is carried out is problem identification, problem analysis, needs analysis, and the design of student payment information system. System design using Data Flow Diagram (DFD) and programming language used is Visual FoxPro 9.0. This research will produce a prototype of student payment information system at SMK Mandala Bhakti which includes student data processing, SPP payment, payment per class, transaction data, and print recap of payment in the form of certain reports.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the profile of inferensial reading comprehension text of online newspaper students of Informatics Engineering Study Program STMIK Duta Bangsa Surakarta and STMIK Sinar Nusantara. Understanding of student inferential reading is seen based on two indicators namely finding the main idea that is not written in the text and find implied information. In this study, researchers used three levels of reading comprehension. Values above 60% are categorized independent, 40-60 are categorized as intructional levels, and values below 40 are categorized as frustrating. Data analysis includes validity and reliability test instrument multiple choice. After the results of the analysis of the problem is valid and reliable, the instrument is tested to the respondent to know the average result of the students score of each indicator of inferential reading comprehension. The result of research shows that the average result of the students of Informatics Engineering STMIK Duta Bangsa in finding the main idea is 36.1%, while STMIK Sinar Nusantara student is 34.4%. The average result of students STMIK Duta Bangsa in finding implied information is 37%, whereas STMIK Sinar Nusantara student is 32.9%. From these results students need to be given more reading practice inferential comprehension in the learning process.

Abstract

The process of making meatballs is generally done using meatball moulding machine and machine owned by the manufacturer can only produce one type of meatball size. While consumers (culinary lovers of meatballs) there who want a sphere of meatballs that are smaller or larger or even form a long cylinder meatball like sausage. To design a meatball moulding machine that can produce meatballs with a variety of shapes and sizes the first thing to know is the speed of the meatball dough out of the nozzle mouth due rotation of screw in the mouthpiece dough. This study examines the relationship between rotation screw meatball moulding machine to the speed of the dough out of the machine nozzle mouth. The research method is done by varying the rotation of the screw axis and measuring the dough velocity out of the nozzle of the moulding machine. Data analysis was performed to obtain mathematical equations of the relationship between rotation screw meatball moulding machine to the speed of the dough out. The results showed that the higher the rotation the greater the dough velocity out of the dough funnel nozzle, but not directly proportional. Mathematical equations are very useful as a reference for the designer meatball machine designers if designing machines with a variety of shapes and sizes of meatballs.

Abstract

The purpose of this Final Project is to improve and simplify the system of recording, data storage and preparing reports for the payment of tuition fees and data membership at Fashion Outlet. This research uses observation method. In the field, the writer acts as an active trainer and treasurer at the Fashion Outlet. to conduct a systematic study of the symptoms that occur to obtain the required data in the writing of the Final Project. The result of this research is that it can be easy to run the computerized based system, in conveying the information to the needy and using the facility can be done without limitation of space and time, and with the use of this application, the process of recording data and making the report into faster, effective, accurate and better than ever.

Abstract

To increase electricity access rate of the population in West Kalimantan Province needs to be done a variety of efforts in relation to supply of the electrical energy. One is through the “Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Mikro Hidro (PLTMH)” as an alternative to reduce the use of “Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Diesel (PLTD)” which requires a very large operating costs and are not environmentally friendly because it causes air pollution. PLTMH is able to generate electrical energy with environmentally friendly, and can reach the more remote or rural areas. The tools used to generate electricity using micro hydro power is cross-flow water turbine with main component is the turbine wheel (runner) and water spray (nozzle). To design a cross-flow water turbine in order to generate maximum efficiency, it is necessary to consider various design parameters such as angle of the water jet into the runner (angle attack), entry angle of the blade, the ratio of the inside diameter and outside diameter of the blade, as well as the number of blades. This study examines the value of these parameters in designing cross-flow water turbine construction has 27 meters head and water debit is 0.157 m3 in PLTMH Desa Bungan Jaya, Kecamatan Putusibau Selatan, Kabupaten Kapuas Hulu, West Kalimantan Province. The study found that in these locations can be designed cross-flow water turbines with a power of 37 kW and a maximum efficiency of 95%. In order to achieve this efficiency, the turbine is designed to transmit water inlet runner angle or angle attack of 22 °, the angle of the blade entered by 39 °, the ratio of inner diameter and outer diameter runner at 0.60, and the number of blades as much as 18 blade.
