Abstract

Labor pain can be controlled by two methods, pharmacological and non-pharmacologicaL. In the nonpharmacolgismethod there are various methods, one of which is deep breathing relaxation techniques. The purpose of this study was todetermine the effect of deep breathing relaxation techniques on labor pain in the first phase of the active phase in VKTebing Tinggi Regional General Hospital, Empat Lawang Regency. This study used a Pre-Experimental Pretest-PosttestDesign method and the sample was taken by accidental sampling with a total sample of 35 respondents. Analisis yangdigunakan adalah analisis univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. The results of the study showed that of 35respondents, before breathing relaxation techniques were done in there were severe pain of 11.4% and moderate pain in88.6% whereas after breathing relaxation techniques in light pain there were 62, 9% and moderate pain in 37.1%. Basedon the results of the study there is the effect of deep breathing relaxation techniques on labor pain in the first phase ofthe active phase as evidenced by the Wilcoxon statistical test value of Z = -5.245 with a p value of 0.000 <0.05 whichmeans that Ha is accepted. It is expected that the results of this study midwives can provide the best service and play anactive role in applying deep breathing relaxation techniques in first-phase maternal mothers in the active phase of VKHospital inebing Tinggi, Kab. Abstract

Research on the acute toxicity test on an ethanol extract of camandrah clika (Croton tiglium L.) ethanol extract onArtemia salina Leach larvae was conducted. With the Brine Shrimp Lethality Test method. The aim of this researchwas to determine the acute toxicity potential of the camandrah clika ethanol extract that extracted by macerationwith 96% ethanol solvent, then evaporated to produce a thick extract, then it was tested against Artemia salina Leachlarvae at concentrations of 1000 ppm, 100 ppm, ten ppm, one ppm and negative control of seawater. The resultsobtained were based on an analysis of 3,706/mL, classified as highly toxic to the level of Artemia salina Leach.

Abstract

The setup clean-up process needs much work time, and this is not good news for a pharmaceuatical company. It will extend downtime, resulting in delays in the production area. Companies must be able to fix thisproblem by minimizing clean-up setup time and process time. The purpose of this study is to minimize thesetup clean up time at the sugar-coated coating line machine using the SMED (Single Minute of ExchangeDies) approach. The research method used is time study and then doing some classification, conversion, andsimplification of this process. The result is that the setup clean up time has dropped significantly at theaverage by 28%. A more concise and efficient process will have a positive effect on the production processlead-time. In addition to these positive results, companies will get benefit from getting new workflows thatare leaner. Of course, this process needs to be validated in order to get excellent and consistent final results
