Abstract

The tourism sector has the potential to be the leading sector in order to increase regional income sources, with the aim of improving the welfare and prosperity of the people, encouraging regional development. By paying attention to the development of the tourism sector, it is able to encourage and be able to improve aspects of economic and social life, as well as norms that exist in society. This research uses a deductive approach, with data collection methods through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study with the development of tourism Puthuk Gragal climbing further increase income, so that people are able to meet needs such as education costs and health costs, as well as the opening of employment opportunities.

Abstract

The city of Surabaya is metropolitan city and is also the 2nd largest city in Indonesia after the city of Jakarta. The city of Surabaya is xperiencing continuous development in aspect, education, health, infrastructure, and so on. This study aims to determine the effect of APS, Unemployment, GDP, and population in the City of Surabaya. The method used in this research is quantitative method. The analysis technique used is Multiple Linear Analysis. The results of this study resulted that APS, GDP, and population had no effect on Poverty in the City of Surabaya, while Unemployment had an effect on Poverty in the City of Surabaya.

Abstract

Consumptive behavior is someone who tends to consume without limits that prioritizes emotional considerations rather than intellectual considerations or is more aligned with wants than needs. This study aims to determine the effect of parental income and lifestyle on the consumption behavior of FEB UNESA students. The analytical method used is a quantitative method. Linear regression with diagonal is the analytical technique used. The results of this study resulted that parents' income and lifestyle influenced the consumption behavior of FEB UNESA students.

Abstract

The phenomenon of buying and selling used goods or Thrifting has been widely practiced by the people of Surabaya. This activity has been carried out a lot both on the side of the road or in terms of stalls, as well as through offline stores, as well as online shops. With the rise of these used clothing sellers, Surabaya has become one of the cities selling centers for Thrifters. This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of the Main Seller's behavior in setting the price of low-cost goods in the city of Surabaya. This study uses a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach. The results of this study indicate that the quality factor of Thrifting goods is a fundamental factor for the Main Seller in setting the price of an item.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the influence of cultural, social, personal, and psychological factors on the decision to use e-money in Gresik Regency. E-money can be defined as a "prepaid product or the value of the funds paid is stored in the customer's electronic device. Meanwhile, consumer behavior is an individual action based on personal preference to benefit from the use of goods or services. Each individual has a unique consumption behavior, influenced by by cultural, social, personal, and psychological factors.This study used a quantitative approach with primary data sources obtained through questionnaires with a Likert scale.Analysis was performed using multiple linear regression with the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) model.The results showed that factors culture, social, and psychology have a positive influence on the decision to use e-money in Gresik Regency, however, personal factors do not influence the decision to use e-money.

Abstract

Pembangunan merupakan suatu proses penting yang dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mewujudkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Paradigma pembangunan yang berkembang saat ini adalah pertumbuhan ekonomi yang dilihat dari pembangunan manusia yang diukur melalui kualitas hidup manusia, manusia bukan hanya sebagai objek namun juga sebagai subjek dari proses pembangunan. Indeks pembangunan manusia digunakan untuk mengukur capaian pembangunan manusia. Penelitian ini menganalisis tentang hubungan dan pengaruh antara nilai tukar rupiah, pertumbuhan ekonomi terhadap Indeks Pembangunan Manusia di Indonesia tahun 2018-2022. Metode dasar dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Teknik Analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif. Adapun data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder berupa data panel dari seluruh provinsi di Indonesia.Hasil dari analisis pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai tukar rupiah memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap indeks pembangunan manusia. Sedangkan pertumbuhan ekonomi memiliki pengaruh yang negatif terhadap indeks pembangunan manusia. Kata Kunci : : Nilai tukar rupiah, pertumbuhan ekonomi, IPM

Abstract

Poverty is a development problem that must be minimized because it can cause various social problems. Based on existing theories and several studies that have been conducted, the problem of poverty is generally related to several factors such as the quality of human resources, unemployment and economic growth. This study aims to determine the effect of the human development index (HDI), the unemployment rate, and economic growth directly on the poverty rate. Furthermore, it will also be seen the indirect effect of HDI and economic growth through unemployment in influencing poverty levels. The basic method in this research is descriptive. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics. The data used is secondary data in the form of panel data from all provinces in Indonesia. The results of this study indicate that the human development index (HDI) indirectly through the outpouring of unemployment has a significant and negative effect on the population, economic growth indirectly, through unemployment does not affect the number of poor people in Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the base and non-base sectors on economic growth in Lampung province. This research method uses Location Quetiene (LQ) analysis and Klassen Typology analysis. The results of this study are that the economic growth and good contribution of Lampung Province to the national economy cannot be separated from economic development carried out by smaller areas in Lampung Province, namely districts and cities. According to the Central Bureau of Statistics (2021) the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sectors are one of the primary economic sectors that make the highest contribution to the GRDP of Lampung Province for the 2019-2021 period, which is always greater than 35%.

Abstract

Economic growth is an increase in the ability of an economy to produce goods and services. In other words, economic growth refers more to quantitative changes and is usually measured using gross domestic product data or per capita output income. The purpose of this study is to analyze which sectors include the base and non-base sectors and how economic competitiveness in increasing economic growth in the city of Bandar Lampung. This research uses quantitative research methods with Location Question (LQ), Shift Share and Typology Klassen analysis tools. The results of the research based on the results of the Location Question analysis show that there are 15 basic sectors and 2 other economic sectors which are non-base sectors in Bandar Lampung City. The research results from the Shift Share analysis show that almost all economic sectors in Bandar Lampung City have a positive Differential Shift value, which means that these economic sectors have strong competitiveness or have a high competitive advantage compared to the same sector in the economy. National. The results of the study from the Klassen Typology analysis show that there are 5 developed and rapidly growing sectors in Bandar Lampung City and there are 12 Growing Sectors.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research studies to determine the effect of inflation and interest rates on Indonesia's economic growth for the 2018-2022 period. The data used in this study are secondary data, namely inflation and deviating interest rates from the websites of Bank Indonesia and the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). The method used is multiple linear regression. Regression research results show that simultaneously inflation and interest rates have a significant effect on Indonesia's economic growth in 2018-2022.
