Abstract

AbstractThe props used by students of SMAN 4 metro are only able to show the concept of hydrostatic pressure through spray distance only. This resulted in the limited knowledge of students regarding the concept of hydrostatic pressure.. So researchers need to develop props that are able to show the concept of hydrostatic pressure to be more complex, can show the effect of depth to the amount of pressure, can show the amount of hydrostatic pressure in the same depth, and can show the effect of density to the amount of pressure. The purpose of this research are: (1) produces hydrostatic pressure props that work well, (2) produces hydrostatic pressure props that are suitable for learning media, and (3) to know about students respond of hydrostatic pressure props developed. This research is done by research and development method (R & D) using ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The results of this research are: (1) Hydrostatic pressure props developed can work well, (2) the average of feasibility level media component and material is amount of 95.8% include of the criteria of props is very feasible to use as a media of learning., and (3) student's response to props amounted to90.96% means the props are very well received by the students. Abstract

ABSTRACTEfforts to improve understanding of concepts in students can be seen from their academic abilities. Understanding concepts is a term used to mean the extent to which students are able to understand the basic concepts of a material provided by the teacher. One effort to improve the understanding of concepts in students is to do experimental learning models or practicum. Along with the advancement of time where technology can be used as a tool in learning, therefore the implementation of practicum can be done using a virtual laboratory. The use of virtual laboratories can run well and in accordance with procedures when using a virtual laboratory practicum guidelines. The making of practicum guidelines must not be separated from the scientific process skills because it has been regulated in Regulation of the Ministry of Education and Culture No. 22 of2016.The purpose of this study is to find out the development of practical process guidelines based on science process skills using virtual laboratories, to determine the impact of virtual laboratories on students' understanding of concepts, and to determine the strengths and weaknesses of virtual laboratories. After conducting field tests in SMA 1 Metro with a class XII IPA 4 as sample, it is known that the results of the feasibility of using a virtual laboratory practice guidelines based on science process skills, namely expert validation got a percentage of 84.6%, Teacher Response 91.25% and Student Response 88, 4% Based on the average percentage of the three assessments of 88.08%, it is in the very feasible category. As for understanding the concept an increase of 21.4 between the pretest and posttest scores. Based on the results of the study, the virtual laboratory practicum guidelines based on science process skills affect the learning process specifically to improve students' understanding of concepts. Abstract

ABSTRACTAnemometer propellers have many forms, but there is no data yet to show the difference between propeller and rotational speed. So the purpose of this study is to determine the difference in rotational speed based on the shape of the anemometer propeller. The research method used was experimental research. The experiments were carried out using fan blades, scissors, a quarter cup, and a turbine. Data analysis used the formula of rotational speed, accuracy, and error during the experiment. The results showed that each form of the propeller on the anemometer produced a different rotational speed. The shape of the propeller that produces the greatest speed is obtained from the shape of a quarter cup propeller with an estimated speed. The results of the study are used as learning resources in the form of posters. The poster created has been tested for eligibility by the design validator and material validtor. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe problem in this research is that the management of the physics laboratory is still not optimal. Therefore, it is necessary to have a managementsystem or management of laboratory implementation in a good physics laboratoryby creating standard operating procedures (SOP) for practicum implementation. The aim to be achieved in this study is to produce an SOP for practicum implementation in the utilization of physics laboratories in senior high school and to determine the efficiency of the implementation of senior high school physics practicum after using the developed SOP. The development model used in this research is the ADDIE development model, which is an extension of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The product feasibility level is seen from the results of validation from laboratory management experts, the results of the feasibility percentage of practicum SOP are 83.33%, and the percentage of students' responses obtained from the product trial results is91.38%. Thus, it can be concluded that the practicum SOP developed is suitable for use in the process of practical activities. Keywords: standard operational procedure, efficiency, and practicum.

Abstract

ABSTRACKA simple harmonic motion practicum module in video based laboratory (VBL) spring helps teaching and learning process in the classroom. The work procedure in the practicum module uses technology video to help for observation and analyze the physics concepts of simple harmonic motion in spring. By using video analysis tracker software, it can help teaching and learning process in the classroom such as practical activities. The purpose of this research is to produce practicum module based on video based laboratory (VBL). This research uses research and development method (R&D) and research uses the ADDIE.The results of the assessment by experts, namely the media experts are97.58%, material experts 95.58%, and linguists 95.58%. Appraisal by experts earns a percentage of 96.19%. The result of the assessment by experts obtaineda percentage of 96.19% and the results of the questionnaire given to student inthe module trials gained a percentage of 81.07%. The results of this research can be concluded that the video based laboratory (VBL) is practicum module is declared worthy of use in the process of practicum activities, has an agreeable response and has a positive effect on student practicum activities.Based on some of the above, this practical module has suggestions for users, namely, every computer used has installed tracker, the software trackerworks well and prepares tools for calibration. Keywords: Video Based Laboratory (VBL, and simple harmonic motion in spring, ADDIE.
