Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted to identify the difficulties of working onphysics problems in the junior high school of the students based on the problemsolving stages. This study uses test and interview methods, for respondentsconsist of 19 students in the eighth grade of SMP It Insan Mulia Batanghari. Theresults showed that the average difficulty at the stage of writing down the knownand asked quantities was 47.93%, writing the formula/equation used was63.16%, operating arithmetic of 85.34%, and writing the final unit of 31.98 %.Forms of difficulty experienced by the students include writing symbols, converting units, writing formulas, performing calculations, and writing down thefinal units. Keywords: Identify, Trouble Working on Questions, Physics Problem Solving

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this researcher is to determine the feasibility level of developing contextual-based integrated character worksheets on the subject matter of IPA and its observations for students of class VII SMP / MTs in padangratu. This research is included in the type of Research and Development (R&D) development research. The method used is ADDIE which stands for analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The level of feasibility of this development product seen from the results of the validation showed very reasonable criteria, the results of the feasibility percentage of material experts were 86.67%, percentage of language experts 88.33%, percentage of design experts 87.49%, and percentage of student responses 74.21%. Based on the results of the summary data recapitulation that has been done shows the feasibility of contextual-based worksheets with maternal object material and its observations, on material experts amounted to 86.67%, percentage of language experts 88.33%, percentage of design experts 87.49%, and percentage student response 74.21%. From the results of expert validation and student response shows the percentage> 60 so that the student activity sheet (LKS) Physics is declared very feasible to be used in learning. Keywords: characters, contextual, development of student activity sheets (LKS).

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to know the comparison of learningoutcomes and student collaboration quality between small group and largegroup in learning using experimental method, which learning outcomes arebetter between large groups and small groups, and which collaboration isbetter between large groups and small groups. Type of this research iscomparative with Posttest Only Control Group Design. Sampling is usingCluster Random Sampling. This study uses two classes, class X IPA 1 as asmall group with the number of students 33 students and class X IPA 2 as alarge group with the number of students 36 students. Data analysis this studyis using Chi-Square Test. The results showed that the difference of averageresult of study from small group was batter big group, it can be seen thattobserved 3,78 > ttable 2,00. Then, the average of collaboration quality of smallgroup was batter small group then big group, it can be seen that tobserved 2,73was > ttable 1,78. Suggestions submitted so that students' physics learningobtained optimal outcomes, it is advisable to apply experimental of smallgroup. Keywords: Result of study, collaboration, big group, small group, experiment

Abstract

Abstract: The guided inquiry learning model is a model that involves all students' ability to search and investigate in a systematic, critical, logical, analytical and developing emotional and student skill. The purpose of this research is to know the difference of student learning outcomes between the control class and the experimental class after using the model guided inquiry learning and to know interest in learning to support the improvement of student learning outcomes. This type of research is a quasi experiment because not all variables can be managed and controlled strictly or fully. Where population in this research is all class of student of class VII SMPN 1 Pekalongan which amount 6 class. Sampling of this study researchers using purposive sampling, purposive sampling is a technique of determining the sample with certain considerations. The researcher used purposive sampling technique because the population is hoterogen. The sample used in this research is the students of class VII 1 and VII 2, which will be the control class and the experimental class. Data collection using questionnaires and tests. Questionnaires are used to determine students' learning interests and tests are used to determine student learning outcomes. Then the data can be further analyzed using anakova test. Keywords: Guided Inquiry Learning Model, Interest in Learning, and Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract: The development of science and technology increasingevolved following the times, especially in education. Education thatcannot be separated from the learning process requires a tool that canhelp and support the learning process. One of them is physics learningwhich requires a tool that can show physical phenomena in real. Basedon the above ideas then developed atwood machine practicum tool thatcan be used in learning. The purpose of this study is to: (1) Increase thelevel of accuracy of atwood machine tools. (2) Produce appropriateatwood machine tools. (3) Knowing the feasibility level of the developedatwood machine tool. (4) Knowing the respondent's response to atwoodmachine tool developed. The type of this research is the development ofADDIE model which consists of 5 stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Based on the research result: (1) thequality atwood machine tool obtaine the average percentage accordingto the media expert of 92% with very reasonable criteria, and accordingto the material expert of 91% with very reasonable criteria. The averagepercentage of experts is 91.5% with very reasonable criteria means thatpracticum tool can be used in learning. (2) The result of questionnaire ofstudent response got percentage 87% with criteria strongly agree thatstudent have interest to atwood machine tools in. Suggestion in thisresearch that atwood machine practice tool can be used and used forlearning process and practice tool can be developed become moresophisticated. Keywords: Development, Practicum Tools, Atwood Machines.
