Abstract

Maintaining an open airway is one of the fundamental steps in the patients and due to complications associated with non-standard and high sensitivity in ICU, this study aimed to evaluate the performance of nurses in standard care of airway and oropharynx in the intensive care units of Golestan hospital in Ahwaz. in this cross-sectional study, by the checklist of care standards of airway and oropharynx and a questionnaire,  demographic information of 72 nurses working in the intensive care unit in Ahwaz Golestan hospital in 2015 were measured after written consent in different working shifts. The validity of questionnaire was verified by the viewpoints of professors of nursing and its reliability by agreement between the present observers. Eventually, the data collected was analyzed using descriptive statistics and Kruskal-Wallis test, Mann Whitney U and Pearson correlation coefficients using SPSS version 20. Among the care standards, cleaning the lumen of the catheter has been a measure which has been undertaken by the majority of nurses (98/6 percent), while reviewing a medical history of possible problems in patients was observed only in 23.6% of the nurses. Overall mean of use of care standards of airway and oropharynx was 9/92 ± 81/60 respectively. Also significant positive relationship was observed between job characteristics and their performance in the care of the airways (05/0> P). Although in most cases the implementation of care was optimal, the implementation of the measures examined in the patient's medical history is not done properly. Hence, the importance of standard care in patients required more accurate monitor of the performance of staff and the necessary steps also should be taken to rectify the affecting factors.

Abstract

Requirements and user interface specifications are often elicited and specified separately, in most cases. The errors in requirements gathering and software specification phases lead to project failure and costlymistakes during software development. Likewise a bad user interface lessens the quality of software.WEBSTEUIR is a support tool to help the developers and users in user interface requirement elicitationand specification. The approach used in WEBSTEUIR is to elicit user interface requirements from UMLinteraction diagrams in order to generate SRS which include user interface requirements and have to bewell understood and well presented to the developers and end-users and also provide easy way to extractmain functionalities, features, and user interface of the software. Description of our approach to softwareuser interface requirements specification and an overview of WEBSTEUIR's design concepts are presentedin the paper, together with examples of the tool's use, a comparison with related work and pointers tofuture.

Abstract

We have produced nanoparticles made fromco-precipitation-induced cerium-cobalt composition with 4:1 ratio. The results of the curve VSM represent the weak ferromagnetic properties of this compound at room temperature. But VSM curve shows an increase in ferromagnetism in this compound by eliminating (removing) the amount of oxygen, the mixture at 300 ° C under pressure of an atmosphere from H2 gas. In this compound, this property can be attributed to new created phases such as Co with hexagonal structure and properties of super paramagnetic and so can be due to the presence of Ce with Cubic structure in its ferromagnetic phase. By adding iron to the compound and production of new nanoparticles, XRD spectra shows that in addition to not changing the previous phases  and with Cubic structures, two new phases  and have been created with the same Cubic structure. The results of VSM curve represent the enhancement of ferromagnetism property of these nanoparticles which is caused by the presence of two new phases of iron and cobalt ferrite.

Abstract

Human exposure to ionizing radiation has long considered harmful to biological tissue and in sufficient amounts and intensities can be irreversible tissue damage, cancer and even death of an organism cause. On the other hand many researches that have taken place in recent decades show that low doses of ionizing radiation cannot be extrapolated effects (Extrapolation) the results of the effects of high doses predicted. Several cases of the positive effects of low doses of ionizing radiation in the form of bio-cognitive Hormetic or irritant effects have been reported. In this study 60 male Wistar rats with a genetic structure identical all homogenous inbred were randomly divided into 4 groups (3 groups for each of radioisotopes and underlying soil with a high dose control group), divided are. In order to prevent any Bias in the study, Permethrin is fed to all groups with a amount of poison. Mice were coded and only after completion of the test will be Decoding. The highest survival duration pertains to the group that received technetium-99m. Next is Ramsar soil group which is statistically indicative of a significant difference in respect to technetium-99m group. Iodine 131 takes the third rank and it is statistically not indicative of a significant difference with neither of the control and other groups. Low dosages of technetium featuring higher than normal natural radioactivity in Ramsar was selected as challenging dose and orally-fed Permethrin chemical compound was selected as the lethal factor. Data analysis reflects the creation of an adaptive effect subsequent to the prescription of low dosage technetium as well as a synergistic effect exerted by technetium and the regional soil characterized by a high background dosage on test rats’ survival time following to the administration of permethrin lethal dosage.
