The learning process in class still uses a lot of methods conventional and is less creative in conveying material, namely the model has not been applied one of the innovative learning models is the STAD learning model. The research purpose is to determine the effect of the STAD cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes of SMP Negeri 2 Wundulako. This type of research is quasi-experimental. This research was quantitative. The population in this research were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Wundulako, amounting to 56 people. The sampling of this research used the purposive sampling technique with certain considerations that each class has the same initial cognitive ability. As the experimental unit, there were two research classes, namely one experimental class and one control class, each of which was 28 people. The data was collected using non-test techniques, observation sheets for student learning activities, and tests in the form of multiple-choice pretest-posttest questions. Then analyzed by descriptive statistic analysis and inferential static analysis. The results of the research inferentially on student learning outcomes using the Independent sample t-test at the significance level = 0.05, obtained t count 8.799 and t table 1.674 because t count ≥ t table, indicating that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. It could be concluded that the application of the role-playing model to the digestive system material affected the learning outcomes of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Wundulako. Learning activities are very important in determining student success in learning. The Giving Questions and Getting Answers learning strategy can help students to be active in learning. This classroom action research aims to increase the learning activities of class XI IPA3 students of SMA Negeri 5 Kendari through active learning strategies of asking questions and getting answers. The subjects of this study were all students enrolled in the even semester of the 2013/2014 academic year class XI IPA3 SMA Negeri 5 Kendari with a total of 42 students, consisting of 11 male students and 31 female students. The initial data collection technique was carried out through interviews and observation. The data source for this research was observation sheets of student learning activities in Cycle I, cycle II, and Cycle III. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive data. The results of this study concluded that there was an increase in student activity from cycle I to cycle II and to cycle III, where the average student activity increased from cycle I to cycle II, namely 0.13, and from cycle II to cycle III, by 0.41. The learning model is very influential on the success of learning. the right learning model can affect learning outcomes in the classroom. This study aims to determine the effect of the model Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) on the Learning Outcomes of Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 1 Tinondo. The type of research used in this study is a Quasy Experiment type of research. The total population in this study were 48 students of class VIII at SMP Negeri 1 Tinondo. The sample used in this study consisted of two classes, namely: the experimental class (Class VIII A totaling 24 students), and the control class (Class VIII B totaling 24 students). With the research design Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The instrument used to measure learning achievement tests is an essay test in the form of a pretest and posttest. The instrument used to measure learning achievement tests is an essay test in the form of a pretest and posttest. data analysis technique using independent sample t-test. The results showed that, After the pretest and posttest were carried out in the experimental class using the STAD learning method, the independent t-test value of the N-gain sample t-test was obtained with the t-count value t-table. Based on the table above, it is known that the t count is 7,926 with a significance of 0.000. The t-table obtained from df = 46 at a significant level of 5% is 2.018. So t-count t-table. So there are differences in student learning outcomes scores in different ways significantly between the experimental class and the control class. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the model Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) learning can affect the learning outcomes of science at SMP Negeri 1 Tinondo. Learning media is one component of learning. The accuracy of the selection of media and learning models that will be applied is one of the factors in the success of effective learning. This study aims to obtain the results of the analysis of student needs for android-based learning media in biology subjects. This student needs analysis is focused on SMPN 16 Poleang Tengah students. The selected method in data collection is a quantitative method using the purposive sampling technique. The sample used to obtain the data is class VIII student respondents and consists of 22 respondents. Data were collected by filling out a questionnaire the form of a questionnaire. The results of this questionnaire data are then processed and made in the form of percentages and tables. Analysis of student needs for Android-based learning media shows that the use of Android-based learning media in the learning process is very much needed, and students feel interested in using Android as a learning medium. This can be seen based on the percentage of statements agreeing to manufacture android-based learning media in biology subjects, namely the percentage of 90.1% agreeing. The analysis of student needs will be used to design android-based learning media for biology subjects in class VIII of SMP Negeri 16 Poleang Tengah. Keywords: Learning media, Android,

The main task of the teacher is to teach students, namely to condition students to learn actively so that their potential can develop properly. This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of class VIII A SMP Negeri 1 Kolaka on the subject matter of motion in plants. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) using two cycles. In this CAR, the subjects of the study were students of class VIII. a which consisted of 22 students with 13 female students and 9 male students. The research instrument uses a test instrument to measure students' cognitive learning outcomes. Data were analyzed descriptively using percentage techniques. Based on the research results, it can be seen that the average student learning outcome in cycle 1 is 74.7 and in cycle 2 is 79.4. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of the make-a-match type of cooperative learning model to the subject of motion in plants can improve student learning outcomes. Benthic animals are often used as biological indicators of water quality because benthos have relatively fixed habitats, with such characteristics, changes in water quality and the substrate where they live greatly affect their composition. Benthic density is also strongly influenced by its tolerance and sensitivity to environmental changes. The purpose of this research is to determine the type of macrozoobenthos in the Lalolara River, Kambu District, Kendari City. This type of research is descriptive research with observational sampling techniques. The observation technique used is to go directly to the deep field observation and sampling of the flow of the Lalolara River. The river is about 20 m wide meter is divided into 20 observation points. Sampling was carried out on each line transect where each transect consisted of 4 plots measuring 30 x 30 cm. The results showed that there were six types of benthos found in the river Lalolara namely: Tarebia granifer, Pleurocera acuta, Medulia carinata, Planobula armigera, Viviparus interitextus, Parapholyx effusa. Based on the results of the study, it appears that the species Tarebia granifer dominates both forms of the substrate. Also from the observations, the comparison between substrates shows that the sandy substrate has a large number of individuals with a higher diversity than the silty substrate Keywords: Diversity, Bentos
