Abstract

Humans, as stewards of the earth, are entrusted with the responsibility of preserving environmental balance through the use of reason and conscience, which collectively form international ecological wisdom. Environmental preservation becomes effortless and natural when rooted in everyday human practices, ensuring the sustainability of nature without the need for punitive measures or external enforcement. This paradigm is explicitly reflected in the nation's constitution, particularly in Article 33, paragraphs (3) and (4) of the 1945 Constitution, which encapsulates the principle of a "green constitution." In Islam, the divine law aims to maintain human harmony and prevent destruction. The primary sources of Islamic law—the Qur’an, hadith, and the evolving discipline of Fiqh Ecology—offer solutions to the global environmental crisis. This study employs a normative approach with a doctrinal focus and is descriptive-analytical in nature. Therefore, the research seeks to address the international environmental crisis from the perspective of Fiqh Ecology, presenting it as a framework to confront current ecological challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of zakat institutions in improving the welfare of mustahik (zakat beneficiaries), particularly through the professional and technology-based management and distribution of zakat funds. Zakat, as the third pillar of Islam, holds significant potential for alleviating poverty and enhancing societal welfare. This research examines aspects of zakat management, including collection, distribution, and monitoring, and evaluates their impact on mustahik, particularly in transforming their economic status from recipients of zakat (mustahik) to contributors (muzakki). The study also identifies challenges in zakat management, such as social inequalities, lack of awareness among muzakki, and the critical need for innovation in zakat administration. The findings reveal that structured and innovative zakat management can significantly improve the welfare of mustahik, addressing their moral, social, and economic well-being.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of zakat literacy, zakat distribution, and transparency in zakat management on the interest of muzakki at BAZNAS Deli Serdang. Zakat, as one of the pillars of Islam, plays a crucial role in promoting income redistribution and alleviating poverty. However, low zakat literacy, suboptimal zakat fund distribution, and lack of transparency are factors that affect the willingness of muzakki to channel their zakat through official institutions. This research employs a quantitative associative approach, with data collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression tests. The results reveal that zakat literacy, zakat distribution, and transparency in zakat management have a positive and significant influence on the interest of muzakki. These findings underscore the importance of professional, transparent, and literacy-based zakat management to enhance public trust and participation, thereby supporting zakat's role as a social and economic instrument.

Abstract

Music holds a central place in human life, not merely as entertainment but as a reflection of cultural identity and social behavior. This study explores the social values embedded in the lyrics of Liza Aulia’s songs, which remain understudied in academic discourse. The research seeks to answer how Liza Aulia's song lyrics convey various social values, including religious, moral, social-cultural, economic, political, educational, aesthetic, and humanistic elements. Employing a qualitative descriptive method with a literature study approach, this research analyzes the lyrical content of eight of her albums: Keuneba Endatu, Kutidieng, Mala Bayeun, Hate Keu Allah, Jamboe Nyo, Seulayang, Adat, and Likok Pulo. The findings reveal that Liza Aulia’s lyrics are rich with multidimensional values that reflect the sociocultural context of Acehnese society. This study contributes a novel perspective to the academic understanding of regional music by framing it within a structured cultural analysis, thereby emphasizing the relevance of local musical expressions as carriers of social meaning.

Abstract

The poetry of Thayeb Loh Angen, a prominent Acehnese poet, embodies profound personal and cultural values that resonate deeply with the lived experiences of society. This study aims to identify and critically analyze the character values embedded in his poetic works. The central research question addresses how these values are articulated through literary devices and thematic structures within his poetry. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, this research utilizes content analysis to examine the dominant themes and moral messages conveyed. The findings reveal that core character values—such as religiosity, wisdom, patriotism, environmental awareness, justice, and humanity—are consistently reflected across his body of work. These values are conveyed through symbolic language, metaphor, and a lyrical style rooted in Acehnese tradition, evoking emotional depth and moral reflection in readers. The study concludes that Thayeb Loh Angen’s poetry serves not only as an artistic expression but also as an effective medium for character education, offering meaningful insights into ethical behavior, social responsibility, and cultural identity, particularly within the Acehnese context.
