Abstract

The study aims at investigating the relationship between father’s and mother’s education with juvenile delinquency. The design of the study was cross sectional, this research was conducted at Vocational School X Rangkasbitung. The number of population in this research are 85 people. The data are collected primarily using checklists and questionnaire instruments. The results of the bivariate test on father’s education education toward juvenile delinquency presents P value which means that, statistically, there is a relationship between father’s education and juvenile delinquency incidence = 0.002 (p 0.05) so that HO is rejected. The results of the bivariate test on mother’s education variable toward juvenile delinquency shows P = 0.008 (p 0.05) which indicates that there is a statistically significant relationship between mother’s education and juvenile delinquency. At the age of adolescence, teenagers need a figure who can be the motivaor and facilitator in this period. Parental involvement in this case can be a bridge for teenagers to help them solve the turmoil of adolescence, hence, it is important for parents to continue learning during the process of being a parent.

Abstract

The study aims at identifying the relationship among knowledge and the number of children with men’s behaviour towards their participation in vasectomy. The study uses quantitative description method. The sample taken is 90 married men who do not have any vasectomy. The data collection is gained through questionnaires. The sampling method is taken non-randomly by incorporating quota   sampling. The study is taken at Kalanganyar Village during April until August 2014. The result of the study shows that 30.0% of the respondents have little knowledge and 70.0% of them have good knowledge on vasectomy. Among 42.2% of the respondents do not support the use of vasectomy, while 57.8% show their support in using vasectomy. It can be concluded that almost a half of the respondents have good knowledge on vasectomy and a half of the respondents support the use of vasectomy. It is thus essential to provide men and their wives with communication, information, and education (KIE) so that the decision to choose the most suitable contraceptive can be made together.

Abstract

The study aims to identify the relationship among knowledge, education, and family support with the usage of contraceptive implant at Sindang Sari Village under the authority of Puskesmas Baros in 2016. The study is conducted using analytical survey and incorporates cross sectional design. The population of the study consists of 466 active contraceptive users. The sample of the study is 86 active contraceptive users. The result of the study indicates that there is a relationship among knowledge (p=0.028), education (p=0.000), and family support (p=0.001) with the usage of contraceptive implant. It is expected that the healthcare professionals to be able to give counselling on contraceptive, particularly implant, to women by using the help of media, such as poster, leaflet or even decision making tools (ABPK) to choose a suitable contraceptive, provide good service, and involve the family of the women, particularly the husbands, in giving the counselling on the types of contraceptive so that they can gain family support to choose the most suitable contraceptive for them.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is the knowing factors - factors associated with the incidence of pregnancy in the family planning acceptors at the Maternity Hospital Anugerah Bogor City Year 2013. Type of research used is quantitative by using the Case Control study approach. The population in this study were all KB participants who visited RB Anugerah in 2012 - 2013. The number of samples between case and control is 1: 2 (35: 70). Thus, the total sample in this study was 105 KB participants. Univariate research results obtained from 105 respondents in the Maternity Hospital Anugerah Bogor in 2013 family planning acceptors who get pregnant as much as 43 (41.0%). The result of statistical test showed that there was no significant relationship between age, cost, type of contraception and husband support with pregnancy occurrence on KB acceptor. There is a significant correlation between knowledge, education level, discipline of re-control, and compliance with the incidence of pregnancy in the FP acceptor.Keywords: pregnancy in family planning acceptors, age, knowledge, education level, discipline of re-control, compliance, cost, type of contraception, husband support.

Abstract

The aim of the study is to investigate the relationship of knowledge and teenager’s attitude with anxiety over physiological changes (puberty) in class IX students of Junior High School 1 Pamarayan in 2016.The design of the study incorporates cross sectional analytical survey. The population in this study consists of all class IX students of Junior High School 1 Pamarayan who are 193 students.  The sample taken is 130  students. The sample taking was executed by doing simple random sampling. The result shows that the frequency of class IX students who are anxious are 124 students (95.4%), the students whose knowledge aren’t sufficient are 26 students (73.8%), the students who signify negative attitude are 58 students (44.6%). According to bivariate analysis there is no significant relationship between knowledge and anxiety over physiological changes, showing p – value 0.652 (p 0.05) and there is no relationship between students’ attitude and anxiety over physiological changes, showing p- value 0.691 (p 0.05). It is suggested that students need a school program to inform and socialize about teenage health, particularly a counselling about physiological changes.
