Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the symbols of Satanism in the movie 'The Nun'. The method used is a qualitative methodology using Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis. The techniques of data collection in this study are observation, documentation and interviews. The results of this study show that there are several symbols of Satanism contained in the film 'The Nun' through stages of denotation, connotation and myth in Roland Barthes' semiotics, namely, a) the symbol of the inverted cross attached to the wall, b) the magic book shows the contents in the book such as symbols of demons and magic spells, d) the symbol of the five-pointed inverted star (Pentagram ) engraved on Sister Irene's body, e) the serpent symbol shown when Father Burke, Sister Irene and Frenchie entered the church. The conclusion of this study is the existence of several symbols of Satanism such as the Pentagram, Inverted Cross, snake (Serphent). Each symbol has its own meaning for adherents and followers of Satanism.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how communication ethics critiques in the public space of social media Twitter. This study uses a qualitative approach because in this study it describes the phenomena studied in the form of descriptions that show how communication ethics criticizes the public space of Twitter's social media. The subject in this study is social media twitter. The object of this study is the ethics of communication to criticize in the public space of Twitter's social media. This study uses secondary data. The results of this study indicate that the ethics of communication in conveying criticism on Twitter social media must pay attention to, among others: using good language, avoiding the spread of criticism that contains racism, pornography and acts of violence and propaganda, re-checking the correctness of information, respecting the work of others when conveying criticism either in the form of photos, writings or videos belonging to other people, it must include the source of the information. Communication ethics has a legal basis, namely Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions (UU ITE).

Abstract

The success of development is characterized by high economic growth. Economic growth is expected to increase production factors (investment and labor), which causes economic development to continue to increase. This study aims to analyze investment and labor as determinants of economic growth in East Lombok District partially and simultaneously. This research uses a quantitative approach and explanatory research type with time series data for 2017-2021 sourced from the Central Statistics Agency and the Investment Office and One-Stop Integrated Services of East Lombok Regency. The method used is the OLS (Ordinary Least Square) analysis method. The results of this study show that the investment variablehas a positive and insignificant effect on economic growth in East Lombok Regency. On the variable,work has a negative and insignificant effect on economic growth in East Lombok Regency. While the variables iinvestment and worktogether do not have a significant effect on economic growth in East Lombok Regency. The determinant coefficient has a contribution of influence contribution of 14.35 percent.

Abstract

This article reviews technology-based learning for early childhood. This study aims to provide learning knowledge to teachers on how to create technology-based learning media, especially e-learning on the web, namely learning apps. This type of research is qualitative research while the research instrument is the observation of the researcher finding the result that the teacher can make learning media through learning apps with various themes. Current technological developments make it easier for humans to carry out various activities. Learning using learning apps can add experience and insight for teachers. As well as making it easier for teachers to give assignments to children that can be used anywhere and anytime, children can reuse them when they want to learn while playing.

Abstract

This study aims to find out about strengthening the science and technology ecosystem (IPTEK) and innovation in supporting technology transfer policies in Indonesia. The research approach used is a qualitative research study of literature. Library research is research that utilizes library resources to obtain research data. The government has issued various policies related to technology development and technology transfer in Indonesia, both at the macro, meso, and micro levels. At the macro level the government has issued laws, at the meso level the government has issued government regulations, and at the micro level various ministerial regulations have been issued. However, these various policies need to be reviewed for their implementation in the field, so that it can be seen how effective these policies are in achieving the stated goals.
