Abstract

The purpose of this research is to discuss the literature study of the relationship between the application of halal marketing in the industrial world and its relation to the quality of service provided by the industry. The primary focus of this study is the relationship between the application of halal marketing in the industry and its impact on the quality of services provided. Halal Marketing not only introduces uniqueness in product marketing approaches but also emphasizes intangible service aspects that must be conducted according to halal principles. Quality service dimensions such as trust, satisfaction, and loyalty are key points evaluated in the context of Muslim consumers. The research method used in this study uses a systematic literature review method is a rigorous and structured research method aimed at identifying, evaluating, and synthesizing all relevant studies related to a specific research question or topic. The result of this study is the application of the use of Halal Marketing as one of the strategies used by the industry can improve the quality of service provided by the industry. With the increasing quality of service, it will lead to customer satisfaction and loyalty from the industry. Furthermore, halal marketing supports the muslim lifestyle through tangible, trustworthy, and responsive  services that build trust and customer satisfaction. This study strengthens the position of halal marketing as an effective strategy that is not only financially beneficial but also adds social and religious value for industry practitioners and Muslim consumers.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop a Picture Story Book (PSB) to enhance English proficiency among elementary learners and to identify appropriate teaching materials. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach, structured using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Data were collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires during the needs analysis phase. The English material, titled "Let’s Have Fun with Picture Story Book (PSB)," was developed based on the 2013 national curriculum, integrating character education and communicative language learning. Validation was conducted through focus group discussions (FGD) with English teachers and caretakers using Likert scale questionnaires. The final product comprised six thematic units. Evaluation of learning outcomes, based on pre-test and post-test analysis, showed a significant improvement in student performance from a mean pre-test score of 52.3 to a post-test score of 75.8. These results affirm the PSB’s effectiveness and appropriateness for supporting English instruction in elementary education at MIM PK Kartasura.

Abstract

Islamic education is a vital component in the moral, spiritual, and intellectual development of Muslim students in Nigeria. While national policies mandate its inclusion in public schools to respect religious diversity, its practical implementation is hindered by significant challenges. This paper investigates the key obstacles confronting the effective delivery of Islamic education in Nigerian public schools. Using a qualitative approach that includes interviews and document analysis, the study identifies several critical issues: a lack of qualified teachers, inadequate instructional materials, curriculum inconsistencies, and the marginalization of Islamic Religious Studies (IRS). Furthermore, the research reveals that poor funding, insufficient motivation from government and society, and negative attitudes among some teachers adversely affect student engagement. A perception of the subject as inferior, held by some parents and authorities, further compounds these problems. To revitalize Islamic education, this paper proffers solutions centered on comprehensive teacher training programs, strategic curriculum reforms, and increased stakeholder engagement to ensure its successful integration and contribution to the national educational goals.

Abstract

"Beyond The Binary: Gender and Legal Personhood in Islamic Law" by Saadia Yacoob is a groundbreaking work that challenges the traditional binary understanding of gender in Islamic law and explores the legal personhood of individuals who fall outside this binary. The book argues that Islamic law, when interpreted through a lens of justice and equity, can accommodate diverse gender identities and experiences. Yacoob meticulously examines the historical and contemporary interpretations of gender in Islamic law, highlighting the limitations of the binary framework and its impact on the lives of individuals who do not conform to traditional gender norms. She then presents a compelling case for a more inclusive and nuanced understanding of gender and legal personhood within Islamic law, drawing on Islamic legal principles, feminist scholarship, and contemporary legal developments.

Abstract

The childfree phenomenon is the existence of different views on the decision not to have children, both from a social, economic, and religious perspective. Childfree is considered an individual right that is influenced by factors of welfare, economic stability, and personal freedom. This study uses a qualitative method with a library research approach to analyze the concept of childfree in Islam, especially in relation to QS. An-Nisa verse 9. The findings of this research study are that the decision to be childfree in Islam has significant implications for the sustainability of Muslim generations, the inheritance of Islamic values, and the social and economic stability of the community. Islam emphasizes the importance of marriage and offspring as part of the maqashid sharia, with the aim of maintaining the existence and strength of the community. Classical scholars generally reject the decision to be childfree without sharia reasons, while contemporary scholars consider certain conditions that can justify it, such as health and economic factors.
