Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran, aktvitas siswa, peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis, hasil belajar dan respon siswa setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing pada materi asam basa. Jenis penelitian ini deskriptif kuantitatif dengan sasaran 36 siswa kelas XI IPA 5 SMAN 1 Waru Sidoarjo. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian one group pretest-posttest design dengan metode pengumpulan data yaitu observasi dan tes. Hasil penilitian diketahui (1) Rata-rata keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dalam tiga pertemuan yaitu, Pendahuluan 95,83% (sangat baik), Fase 1 100% (sangat baik), Fase 2 95,84% (sangat baik), Fase 3 100% (sangat baik), Fase 4 93,75 (sangat baik), Fase 5 93,05 (sangat baik) dan Penutup 100% (sangat baik). (2) Persentase aktivitas relevan siswa tiap-tiap pertemuan sebesar 99,45% pertemuan pertama, 98,9% pertemuan kedua dan 100% pada pertemuan ketiga. (3) Keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dalam tiga pertemuan mengalami kenaikan dengan hasil posttest akhir menunjukkan persentase sebesar 66,67% pada kategori sedang dan 33,33% pada kategori tinggi. (4) Hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan setelah menggunakan pembelajaran model inkuiri terbimbing dengan rata-rata hasil pretest dan posttest yang diperoleh yaitu sebesar 70,18 dan 95,55. (5) Pembelajaran menggunakan model inkuiri terbimbing mendapatkan respon positif dari siswa dengan memperoleh jawaban positif sebesar 97,84%.Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing, Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis, Asam Basa The aim of this research is explain the feasibility of the implementation learning model, student activity, improvement of critical thinking skills, learning outcomes and student responses after applied guided inquiry learning models on acid-base material. The type of this research is quantitative descriptive with the target is 36 students of Eleven Science Five at Senior High School 1 Waru Sidoarjo. This research use the one group pretest-posttest design with method of data collection is observation and testing. The results of the research are known (1) The average implementation of the guided inquiry learning model in three meetings, namely, Introduction 95.83% (very good), Phase 1 100% (very good), Phase 2 95.84% (very good), Phase 3 100% (very good), Phase 4 93.75 (very good), Phase 5 93.05 (very good) and Closing 100% (very good). (2) Percentage of relevant activities of students at each meeting of 99.45% in the first meeting, 98.9% in the second meeting and 100% in the third meeting. (3) Critical thinking skills of students in the three meetings increased with the results of the final Posttest showing a percentage of 66.67% in the medium category and 33.33% in the high category. (4) Student learning outcomes have increased after using guided inquiry model learning with the average results of the pretest and posttest obtained which were equal to 70.18 and 95.55. (5) Learning using a guided inquiry model gets a positive response from students by obtaining a positive answer of 97.84%. Keyword : Guided Inquiry Learning Model, Critical Thinking Skills, Acid Base

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan software Anti Misconception of Chemical Bonding (MCB) dengan strategi conceptual change text yang dikembangkan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk mereduksi miskonsepsi pada materi ikatan kimia kelas X. Kelayakan software ditinjau dari tiga aspek, yakni (1) validitas yang ditentukan dari hasil validitas isi dan konstruk software Anti MCB, (2) kepraktisan, serta (3) keefektifan. Penelitian pengembangan software ini menggunakan model Research and Development (R & D) yang terdiri dari dua tahap, yaitu tahap Preliminary research dengan hasil meliputi rancangan software dan conceptual change text, dan tahap Development or prototyping phase dengan hasil meliputi validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah 12 siswa yang terdeteksi miskonsepsi di kelas X MIA 2 MA Negeri 5 Kediri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa software Anti MCB dengan strategi conceptual change text layak digunakan untuk mereduksi miskonsepsi pada materi ikatan kimia. Hal tersebut dibuktikan berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dari tiga aspek kelayakan yaitu (1) persentase hasil validasi isi antara 86,67%-93,33% dengan kategori sangat valid, dan persentase hasil validasi konstruk antara 88,00%-89,33% dengan kategori sangat valid, (2) persentase hasil respon siswa antara 83,33%-95,83% dengan kategori sangat praktis, dan didukung dengan persentase hasil observasi aktivitas siswa antara 66,67%-85,26% dengan kategori praktis, dan (3) persentase pergeseran konsepsi siswa dari miskonsepsi menjadi tahu konsep pada ketiga konsep memperoleh persentase keseluruhan sebesar 85,26% dengan kategori sangat efektif. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan sintaks model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share yang dipadukan Make A Match, aktivitas siswa, hasil belajar siswa, dan motivasi belajar siswa. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan One group pretest-posttest design dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 36 siswa kelas X MIA-2 SMA Negeri 1 Sumberrejo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) keterlaksanaan pada pertemuan pertama dan kedua memperoleh kriteria baik atau sangat baik pada setiap fase dengan persentase 61 %. (2) aktivitas siswa selama pembelajaran terlaksana dengan baik yaitu persentase aktivitas relevan ( 61 %) lebih besar dibandingkan persentase aktivitas tidak relevan. (3) hasil belajar menunjukkan bahwa sebesar 91,67 % siswa telah mencapai ketuntasan secara klasikal dan peningkatan hasil belajar melalui gain score diperoleh sebesar 86,11 % siswa mendapat kategori tinggi dan sebesar 13,89 % siswa mendapat kategori sedang. (4) motivasi belajar siswa yang diukur menggunakan angket motivasi ARCS mengalami peningkatan dari 47,43 % dengan kriteria cukup menjadi 78,25 % dengan kriteria baik. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan validitas isi dan konstruk KIT Praktikum Penentuan Persamaan laju Reaksi beserta perangkatnya. KIT Praktikum beserta perangkat yang dikembangkan ini disesuaikan dengan keterampilan yang akan dilatihkan yaitu Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS) siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah desain penelitian dan pengembangan. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan terdiri atas lembar telaah dan lembar validasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif untuk mengetahui validitas KIT Praktikum beserta perangkat yang dikembangkan. Media dikatakan valid apabila memiliki persentase validitas minimal sebesar 61% atau berada pada kategori valid hingga sangat valid. Media KIT Praktikum Penentuan Persamaan Laju Reaksi yang dikembangkan telah dinyatakan valid dari segi isi yang ditunjukkan dengan perolehan persentase rata-rata validasi isi KIT Praktikum sebesar 86,67 %, Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) sebesar 82,78 %, dan Buku Panduan Praktikum sebesar 86,67 %. Media KIT Praktikum Penentuan Persamaan Laju Reaksi yang dikembangkan telah dinyatakan valid dari segi konstruk yang ditunjukkan dengan perolehan persentase rata-rata validasi konstruk KIT Praktikum sebesar 87,78 %, Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) sebesar 83,33 %, dan Buku Panduan Praktikum sebesar 84,17 %. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukanakelayakan Lembar Kerja Praktikum (LKP) berorientasi problem solving untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses sains pada materi hidrolisis garam. Pengembangan LKP ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R & D) yang dibatasi sampai dengan uji coba dalam kelas pada 15 peserta didik di kelas XI IPA SMAN 4 Bangkalan. LKP ini disusun berdasarkan komponen problem solving dan keterampilan proses sains yang dilatihkan yaitu merumuskan masalah, merumuskan hipotesis, mengontrol variabel, merancang investigasi, memproses data, menganalisis data dan membuat simpulan. Kelayakan LKP yang diteliti meliputi (1) validitas yang ditinjau dari kriteria isi, bahasa, grafis dan penyajian, (2) keefektifan yang ditinjau dari hasil tes keterampilan proses sains peserta didik, (3) kepraktisan yang dihasilkan dari angket respon terhadap LKP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kelayakan LKP yang ditinjau validitas kriteria isi, bahasa, grafis dan penyajian dinyatakan sangat layak dengan persentase berturut-turut 88,52%;88,89%;88,34%; dan 85,34%. Keefektifan LKP dinyatakan layak digunakan ditinjau dari hasil tes keterampilan proses sains mendapatkan rata-rata n-gain score 0,70 dengan kriteria tinggi. Kepraktisan dinyatakan sangat layak ditinjau dari respon peserta didik memperoleh respon positif dengan persentase 96,16 %. Berdasarkan dari ketiga kriteria kelayakan LKP berorientasi problem solving dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan. Kata Kunci: LKP, problem solving, keterampilan proses sains, hidrolisis garam.

Abstract

This study aimed to obtain Chem Man computer game as atomic constituent particles learning media for 10th grade high school. This feasibility was viewed from the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the game. Method of the research used the Research and Development (R & D) method with three steps, namely (1) preliminary study, (2) development (3) trial. The instruments were used game review sheets, game validity, pre-test and post-test, observation of student activities, students responses, and students interest in learning. The trial was conducted in one class consist of 30 students of X MIPA 7 SMAN 19 Surabaya. The results of content validity and construct validity obtained a percentage in the range between 80% - 93.33% with valid to very valid categories. The practicality in terms of observation of students activities obtained a percentage 98.79% with a very practical category and the response of students gained a percentage 96.67% with a very practical category. The effectiveness in terms of student learning outcomes, namely classical completeness of students got a percentage 100% with a very effective category and the results of participant learning interest questionnaires obtained an overall average percentage 97.78% with high category.Keywords: Chem Man Game, Learning Media, Atomic Constituent Particles

Abstract

This study aims to develop student worksheets to practice scientific literacy based on feasibility in terms of content validity, construct validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The type of this reasearch refers to the method of Research and Development (R&D) adaptation of Sugiyono (2015) which was confined only to preliminary field testing stage. The instrument that is used were review sheets, content and construct validation sheets, learning outcomes test (pretest and posttest), student activities sheets and student responses sheets. This worksheets was tested on 12 students of 11th grade in SMAN 1 Krian. The result showed the worksheets that developed was valid viewed from content validity that obtained a percentage in range between 82.23%-89.99% with highly valid category, and viewed from construct validity 84.45%-93.33% with highly valid category. Practicality viewed from the result of student responses that obtained a percentage in range between 87.50%-94.45% with highly practical category which supported by observational student activities that obtained a percentage in range between 95.56%-99.51% with highly practical category. Effectiveness viewed from increasing student scientific literacy score through increasing n-gain that obtained scores in the range between 0.65-0.82 with range of categories between medium to high which is supported by the results of students completeness that obtained a percentage of 100% with complete category. Abstract

This Study aimed to get a feasible software in detect and reduce students’ misconceptions on reaction rate topic. This feasibility was viewed from the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the software. Method of the research used research and development (R&D). The subjects in the research were 12 students of XI MIPA in SMAN Jogoroto, who had receive the reaction rate material. The method which is used to detect students misconceptions is a three-tier test, while the strategy used to reduce misconceptions is conceptual change text strategy. Based on the results of validation by 3 validators, the content validity of the software was 89.92% in very valid category, while the construct software validity in linguistic, presentation, graphic, and software requirements as ICT media criteria be successive were 81.67%, 85.56%, 87.33%, and 82.22%, so four criteria for construct validity of software can be categorized as very valid. The practicality of software based on the response questionnaire supported by the student activity observation were 95.16% and 91% in very practical categories. Based on shifting students conceptions from misconceptions to know concepts in preliminary field testing, the effectiveness of software was 82.13% in very effective category. This shows that the software fulfills 3 feasibility criteria, so the software is appropriate used to detect and reduce students’ misconceptions in the reaction rate material, that is the effect of surface area, catalyst, temperature, and concentration on the reaction rate concept. Abstract

This study aimed to produce appropriate student worksheet used as a teaching material to train critical thinking skill of acid-base matter that are reviewed from content validity and constructs through the results of validation by experts, practicality through student activities and student responses, and effectiveness through critical thinking skills and learning outcomes of student. The type of this research is the development of Research and Development (R&D) models which are limited to reaching the product trial stage. The student worksheet was tested on 12 students of 11th grade at SMAN 1 Sumberrejo Bojonegoro. Based on the research data obtained, student worksheet to train student critical thinking skills in acid-base matter developed is feasible to use, in terms of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The results showed that the developed student worksheet was valid in terms of content validity, obtained a percentage of 91.99% and construct validity consisting of presentation criteria obtained a percentage of 88.37%, linguistic criteria obtained a percentage of 85.79%, and graphics criteria obtained a percentage amounting to 88.45%. student worksheet is practical in terms of observations of the activities of students during the testing phase of the student worksheet with a percentage of 96.36% and responses of students to each criterion namely the content criteria of 94.45%, presentation criteria 91.67%, linguistic criteria 91.67%, graphics criteria 97.23%. Effectiveness of student worksheet in terms of indicators of critical thinking skills consisting of interpretations obtained a percentage of 89.72% in the high category, analysis obtained a percentage of 86.17% in the high category, and inference obtained a percentage of 92.92% in the very high category. Increasing the results of the assessment of critical thinking skills through the n-gain score of 16.67% increased with medium category and 83.33% with high category, and the knowledge learning outcomes of students 100% scored above the KKM set at SMAN 1 Sumberrejo, namely >75. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan kelayakan dari Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berorientasi problem solving untuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis pada materi kesetimbangan kimia. Kelayakan dari LKPD yang dikembangkan ditinjau dari tiga aspek yakni kevalidan, kepraktisan, serta keefektifan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research & Development (R&D) yang diujicobakan pada 12 peserta didik kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 4 Sidoarjo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKPD dinyatakan layak dari aspek kevalidan memperoleh hasil validitas isi yang ditinjau dari kriteria kesesuaian dengan materi dan kompetensi dasar, kesesuaian dengan komponen problem solving, dan kesesuaian dengan komponen keterampilan berpikir kritis masing-masing sebesar 80,89%,77,34%, dan 80,45%, serta validitas konstruk ditinjau dari kriteria bahasa, kegrafikan, dan penyajian masing-masing memperoleh hasil sebesar 80%, 86,3%, dan 88,33%, kesemuanya memperoleh kategori valid hingga sangat valid. Kepraktisan memperoleh hasil rata-rata observasi aktivitas peserta didik sebesar 97,22% dan respon peserta didik pada kriteria isi, bahasa, kegrafikan dan penyajian masing-masing memperoleh hasil sebesar 97,62%, 89,58%, 96,67% dan 91,67%. Keempat kriteria tersebut berada pada kategori baik hingga sangat baik. Keefektifan berdasarkan peningkatan hasil pretest-posttest keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik yang memperoleh persentase sebesar 100% dengan skor n-gain pada rentang 0,529-0,901 dengan kategori sedang hingga tinggi.Kata kunci: Kelayakan LKPD, problem solving, keterampilan berpikir kritis, kesetimbangan kimia
