Abstract

The challenge during this pandemic is for universities to carry out entrance exam selection while still implementing health protocols set by the government. The public's fear of Covid 19 makes parents of prospective students reluctant to give permission for prospective students to come directly to universities to take admission tests carried out by universities. With the development of technology and communication, it is now possible to take a new student acceptance test without having to come to the destination college. By utilizing web application technology, prospective students will be able to carry out written exams and interviews in one web application via the internet. So that the health protocol can still be implemented by universities without limiting the number of participants who will take the test. The research method used is the waterfall method starting from analysis, design, coding and testing. This new student admission test information system was built using the PHP programming language. The result of this research is a new student entrance examination information system that makes it easier for universities to carry out online admission tests.

Abstract

One of the provinces in eastern Indonesia, namely West Sulawesi, has many types of tourist attractions. Many of these tourism objects have not been managed optimally by the managers or the government. Currently, there is still no available information platform that can provide detailed information regarding local tourism services available in West Sulawesi Province. This study aims to create an application product that can make it easier for tourists who will visit to find information on local tourism in West Sulawesi. Waterfall is a systematic and sequential application development method at each stage starting from the analysis stage to the implementation stage. Flutter is used as a framework for mobile application development that makes it easy to create application user interfaces. This application has succeeded in providing information related to local tourism services in West Sulawesi Province according to actual data from tourism services. Based on Alpha and Betha testing using the BlackBox method, the results in the Alpha test were that there were no functionality errors in the application, while the Betha test which was carried out directly to the user obtained the results that the application had an attractive appearance, was easy to use, informative, quite easy to understand and useful for users.

Abstract

In a global era that is full of challenges, universities are expected to produce quality graduates in order to compete in the world of work. One indicator that can be used to assess the quality of graduates is the job waiting period. In this research, the researcher implements Naïve Bayes Classifier method using the RapidMiner 7.3 app to generate predictions for the job waiting period and the accuracy rate of the prediction results obtained. The data in this research were obtained from the results of the Tracer Study questionnaire distributed by Computer Science Study Program at The University of Nusa Cendana to determine the career achievements of alumni. The attributes used in this research are Study Period, Grade Point Average (GPA), Organizational Participation, and Competency Mastery with Waiting Period classes which are divided into 4, namely ≤ 10 months, 11 months - 2 years 1 month, 2 years 2 months - 3 years 4 months, and > 3 years 4 months. The prediction results of the job waiting period obtained are presented in the form of a confusion matrix with an accuracy rate of 81.82%.

Abstract

The problem faced by several tourist destinations in the Lake Toba Region is that branding has not been maximized using digital media. In this study, we have the goal of developing the VisitToba Community Based Tourism (CBT) application to develop the tourism potential of the Lake Toba area through digitalization with the concept of community empowerment, improving the quality of tourism and the economy of the tourism community in the Lake Toba area. The Visit Toba application is expected to be a forum for the development of local small and medium-sized businesses as tourism supporters, where tourism actors can take advantage of the features in this application to be able to collaborate with each other to make a tour package. Increased community participation in efforts to develop and strengthen tourism in the Lake Toba area is the expected result with this application, so that a partnership is established between tourism entrepreneurs in the Lake Toba area with the tour packages provided. Applications built using the Waterfall model and have passed the testing phase so that the results in the form of a website can already be implemented in the Lake Toba area.

Abstract

The spread of covid-19 poses a threat to the transmission of diseases related to the lungs, including TB. TB is one of the main problems that is still easily found in various areas, including Bima Regency, NTB. To find out the dynamics of the distribution and the strategy to solve it, it is necessary to conduct research from various aspects, including the mathematical aspect. One of the important indicators in mathematical epidemiology is the basic reproduction ratio. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the estimated value of the basic reproduction number, and the relationship between the rate of cure of the disease and the basic reproduction value using a mathematical model for the dynamics of the spread of TB tuberculosis in Bima Regency. The method used in this study is the early-take off-rate method, which is estimating the initial growth of the infected population. Bima Regency is included in the TB disease emergency category because from January 2020 to May 2022, 1,245 new cases of infected people were found, and the occurrence of the covid-19 pandemic in the last two years has contributed to a decrease in TB disease cases in Bima Regency. Based on the results of research data analysis, the spread of TB disease in Bima Regency is included in the endemic category with the indicator value of being in the range between 2 and 3. The spread of TB disease in Bima Regency will disappear from the population if the value of the disease transmission rate is below 0.168 with the healing rate is greater (or the treatment period is shorter).

Abstract

The Border Control Management system is a technology-based management system that oversees national border areas and handles immigration inspection activities for people who will leave or enter the Republic of Indonesia through the Checkpoint. However, if this system does not work optimally, it will interfere with the implementation of immigration duties. Therefore, it is necessary to measure the usability of the Border Control Management System. Usability is a quality measure that is able to assess the ease with which a system or website interface can be used by users by considering certain criteria. One type of usability measurement is the System Usability Scale which is applied using a questionnaire. This study aims to determine the results of the usability of the Border Control Management System using the System Usability Scale method. The type of data obtained from this study is primary data, namely the respondents' answers to the questionnaire given. In sampling, the technique used is a sampling technique used to make samples with all members of the population used as samples. The results of this study indicate that the usability value of the Border Control Management System obtained using the System Usability Scale is 76.67. This shows that the category of acceptance of the use of the BCM System is “acceptable” which means that the BCM System is acceptable to the user. Furthermore, the usability rating of the BCM System is included in the “Good” category and the usability scale is in the “B” category.

Abstract

The level of student anxiety when compiling a thesis impacts the length of the lecture process. The number of clinical psychologists not proportional to the number of students in East Nusa Tenggara causes many students not to consult a psychologist. An expert system for diagnosing student anxiety levels using the certainty factor method with a HARS scale for 14 criteria and 81 symptoms will help students analyze their anxiety levels. The results of the study based on 300 student data obtained that the accuracy of the expert and system results was 100%, where the more extended the study period, the higher the level of anxiety in students.

Abstract

Information technology that is growing rapidly becomes a very high threat to information systems. PT. YoY Management Internasional which will manage the location-based smart tourism application so that it is necessary to protect company information, in order to avoid interference and threats that can harm the company. In this study, an analysis of information technology (IT) governance was carried out using the COBIT 2019 framework, by aligning the company's strategies and goals into existing processes in COBIT 2019 which were then mapped into ISO 27001 for information security management. The purpose of this research is to manage information security using the COBIT 2019 framework and the ISO 27001:2013 standard. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results obtained in this study are in the form of several recommendations for policies in managing information security in smart tourism applications in accordance with the COBIT 2019 and ISO 27001:2013 standards.

Abstract

School financial accounting activities are one of the important activities in every educational institution. The Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Al-Ikhlas Soe, TTS district, NTT province also carried out this activity but it was still done manually which had to be recorded every time a financial accounting transaction was carried out. Therefore, the researchers designed and built a web that aims to enable schools to record accounting transactions through a computerized system which then produces accounting data reports for student tuition payments, school enrollment payments, honorary teacher salaries and school financial cash flows. The method used is the software development life cycle (SDLC) method, which is one method with a characteristic where each phase of work is carried out must be done first before proceeding to phase next, thus the results will focus on each phase so that the work is carried out optimally because there is no parallel work. This study uses two tests of the system, namely blackbox which focuses on testing the functional specifications of the system software, and testing questionnaires to get responses or answers from respondents, namely teachers from MTs Al-Ikhlas Soe regarding the system that has been created. With these two tests, this application system gets a 100% test score percentage using blackbox this is because the functionality of the software runs as expected and also gets an average percentage test value of 83% or 80% using questionnaire testing.

Abstract

Kidney disease is a disease that is often experienced by people aged over 50 years. Several factors that cause kidney disease include hypertension, diabetes, obesity, smoking and family history of kidney disease sufferers. As many as 42,000 people per year die from kidney disease. Sufferers in Indonesia, which is estimated by the Ministry of Health, based on the 2013-2018 Basic Health Research (Riset Kesehatan Dasar (RIKESDA)) the number of patients experiencing kidney disease symptoms continues to grow to reach 739,208 people in 2013 while chronic kidney sufferers. It was recorded that in 2020 BPJS Kesehatan spent a large enough budget for kidney failure patients as many as 1,763,260 patients. The high number of patients with kidney disease was due to a lack of physical activity and consumption of healthy foods and fruits and vegetables. Therefore, it is necessary to detect as early as possible to prevent the onset of kidney disease. Technology is one of the disseminations of good information in handling kidney disease. This study aims to build an expert system for diagnosing kidney disease. The results of the research on an expert system for diagnosing kidney disease based on a website that can be accessed by the public by providing information on the detection of kidney disease symptoms with 27 symptoms. The process of tracking symptoms using forward chaining. Conclusion tests carried out using black box and usability testing have been running well, as seen from the input and output functionality on the system used by the user. In addition, the expert system helps in providing information to the public to detect the symptoms of kidney disease as early as possible.
